By far the best wedding photography experience I've experienced, Hazelnut will set up a little photo "booth" that will let your wedding guests unleash their inner-silly and land you some great shots. I want to get married again just so I can do this! And frankly, if you don't fall madly in love with Jordana after watching the little movie on her website, I'm not sure what to say to you. There was only one moment when there was a question of who to include in a comprehensive family shot, but all the bride had to say was, "There's a list!" and so there was. If you care about having certain compositions of people, you should always have a list, regardless of your photographer. The photography was constant, but not intrusive, even in a small, intimate wedding. And the photographers were just so fun to work with! A few days after the wedding, Jordana posted a sampling of photos ensconced in a wonderful, personal narrative about the couple. Signing with Jordana as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we ever made. Jordana and her husband Chris, the second shooter, were fantastic! We were married in October 2009. They arrived on time to start shooting us getting ready and it was amazing from there. They both have a light and fun attitude and are very personable to work with. We both felt so comfortable with them which helped put our nerves at ease. We laughed with them and shared a great day together. Chris ran the portrait booth which was the biggest hit of our wedding. I don't know where to begin when describing how great Jordana is! We were blown away by our wedding and engagement pics...I don't consider myself a photogenic person but she somehow found a way to make us both look gorgeous! Whenever I show our photos to people, they comment that they don't look like your typical (posed) wedding pictures...and that's because they're not! Jordana is very non-directive and just encouraged us to behave and interact as we usually would. At first, I thought this might feel weird, but it turned out to be really fun, having these intimate moments with my new hubby and just having Jordana there in the background to capture our honest in-the-moment feelings. And then when it came to the family photos, she did an amazing job of getting everybody in and out efficiently and everyone looked great! During the ceremony and reception, she and her awesome husband/assistant captured both the important and random moments so that we really have a wonderful documentation of the whole day. I know we're going to cherish these pictures for years to come- they really captured the tingly excitement as well as the natural beauty of the venue. We booked Jordana mainly because she is the sweetest person ever. Her work is of course, great but what makes Jordana stand out above all others though is her personality. She was the first photographer...actually first wedding vendor, we met with and we were nervous. Unsure of what we should ask, what is asking too much/too little...we were newbies. But when we sat down with Jordana, we just felt comfortable. I knew she would fit right into my bridal party the day of the wedding...she would laugh with us, cry with us...she would be one of us. We just had our e-session this past Friday and our pictures are already posted on her blog! Talk about quick turnaround. I cannot put in words how happy I am with the photos. Jordana! Oh my. I can't begin to describe what a wonderful experience it has been to work with her. I am beyond sad to know that I won't get to see her smiling face and hear her sweet voice for awhile. She is amazing in every way possible. A dear friend of mine recommend her to us! My husband and I were recently married and Jordana did the photos for the wedding and engagement. From the start, Jordana was professional and extremely easy to work with. For the engagement shoot we were hoping to get maybe 10-15 good shots to choose from, but Jordana produced almost 200!! We were blown away.
