Had the absolute best day of fishing with the kids ever! There was a lot of plant growth around the house but with the googan frog it posed very few if any challenges outside the crappie house and inside was absolute magic . Was so grateful for the experience. Went back again at end of summer break and learned it was shut down indefinitely. If it ever opens again would love to bring the kids back , but respect the decision of the owner. The bait shop and cabins and location are simply awesome !

He threw in a couple of extra things for us which probably didn't cost him much but made us super happy. The add-on items we wanted were taken care of at a fair price, professionally installed and done in a timely manner. Took the boat in for a fairly sizeable list of mostly minor issues. All taken care of free and to our satisfaction (with the exception of the bait wells but that is manufacturer issue! They did a work around and resolved it for us). Now 3 years later we are doing some upgrades to our electronics with a few other tweaks. Friendly folks providing excellent service at a fair price again. What more could you ask for?

There is nothing wrong with this place, just not that interesting to visit. It is a warm water hatchery with lots of earthen ponds to raise the fish in. There is a nice set of informational signs and possibly at some time of year there might be fingerlings in the inside tanks. You can't feed them and you can't see them. So, if you decide to go, just don't make any promises of seeing fish. :)

We had a blast and caught big fish. Mike and Annette are the Consummate hosts. They are so sweet , kind and helpful. Mike is THE Man. He helped us so much, right down to baking soda. Ha! It's had its share of park hosts and over the years it's improved aesthetically a lot but been hit or miss as far as our experience with the hosts. A couple years ago we swore we'd never be back because the hosts were essentially harassing us over every detail of our group (we tend to take about 10-15 camp sites, which is more than half of the park. This year was the best ever. The hosts, Mike and Annette, were AMAZING. They knew about our experience in the past and knew to give us the ground rules up front, and did it in the nicest way. They were constantly checking in to make sure we were having a great time, they hosted movie nights for the kids, drove the train around the park with the littlest ones, and just made sure our experience was amazing. We already booked a week for next year and can't wait. We hope Mike and Annette stay for many years!

What a rip-off! This week I had two jetskis serviced at the new Full Throttle Seadoo place in…read moreKingsland. All that was done was an oil change and replacing three spark plugs. The bill came to $863.13 or $432 per jetski!! For an oil change which takes 3.5 quarts of oil and a filter! The parts came to about $112, the rest was for labor at $170 an hour plus shop supplies, hazardous waste charge (oil), and credit card fee (3.5%). And by the way, it took this Master mechanic (at $170 he must top-of-the line) 1.5 hours to do this oil change! Incidentally, I looked at an old 2023 bill, when the exact same mechanic changed the oil in the exact same jetskis and it took him 1.2 hours per jetski then. And of course the hourly rate was a lot cheaper back then too (37% cheaper), but it's different ownership now when Full Throttle took over from Highland Lakes Seadoo. I guess they had to increase the time the mechanic worked on these jetskis or raise the labor rate even more to get more money in, but how much more than $170 per hour are you going to charge for a guy doing a basic oil change? Or perhaps the mechanic is slowing down in his old age, who knows? My advice? Perhaps it pays to look for a different place. By the way, all the positive reviews (with the exception of one) are about Highland Lakes Seadoo, which were the previous owners. I liked that place. The new ownership has turned greedy.

Our experience with EZ Boat Rentals was extremely disappointing. We rented a pair jet skis we had…read morethem for about 2 1/2 hours and operated them safely the entire time. While we were out on the water, one of the jet skis suddenly died and would not drive anymore. We had to tow it back to the dock. After we returned it, we were shocked to be told that we had broken the driveshaft and were being held responsible for the damage. We never crashed the jet ski, hit anything, sucked anything up on the bottom or misused it in any way. It simply stopped running during normal use. To make matters worse, we were charged $1,325 for the alleged damage. I do not believe the situation was handled fairly, and it was incredibly frustrating to be held financially responsible after the jet ski failed while we were using it responsibly. If you're considering renting from EZ Boat Rentals, I strongly recommend DONT!
