Had the absolute best day of fishing with the kids ever! There was a lot of plant growth around the house but with the googan frog it posed very few if any challenges outside the crappie house and inside was absolute magic . Was so grateful for the experience. Went back again at end of summer break and learned it was shut down indefinitely. If it ever opens again would love to bring the kids back , but respect the decision of the owner. The bait shop and cabins and location are simply awesome !

Our experience with EZ Boat Rentals was extremely disappointing. We rented a pair jet skis we had…read morethem for about 2 1/2 hours and operated them safely the entire time. While we were out on the water, one of the jet skis suddenly died and would not drive anymore. We had to tow it back to the dock. After we returned it, we were shocked to be told that we had broken the driveshaft and were being held responsible for the damage. We never crashed the jet ski, hit anything, sucked anything up on the bottom or misused it in any way. It simply stopped running during normal use. To make matters worse, we were charged $1,325 for the alleged damage. I do not believe the situation was handled fairly, and it was incredibly frustrating to be held financially responsible after the jet ski failed while we were using it responsibly. If you're considering renting from EZ Boat Rentals, I strongly recommend DONT!

This old man comes out and rudely yells "you think you can just fish here!" We were stunned. He demanded payment for using the dock. We apologized and told him we didn't rise we had to pay. How much was it? He laughed and said "get out. You didn't think you had to pay?" I saud "sir, I've spent many a time here & didn't realize we had to pay. How much do we owe you"? He screamed "load up we're closed can't you read the sign?" We responded again. We didn't know. It's one thing if I owe you nut to be a complete jackass was totally uncalled for. What a rip-off! This week I had two jetskis serviced at the new Full Throttle Seadoo place in…read moreKingsland. All that was done was an oil change and replacing three spark plugs. The bill came to $863.13 or $432 per jetski!! For an oil change which takes 3.5 quarts of oil and a filter! The parts came to about $112, the rest was for labor at $170 an hour plus shop supplies, hazardous waste charge (oil), and credit card fee (3.5%). And by the way, it took this Master mechanic (at $170 he must top-of-the line) 1.5 hours to do this oil change! Incidentally, I looked at an old 2023 bill, when the exact same mechanic changed the oil in the exact same jetskis and it took him 1.2 hours per jetski then. And of course the hourly rate was a lot cheaper back then too (37% cheaper), but it's different ownership now when Full Throttle took over from Highland Lakes Seadoo. I guess they had to increase the time the mechanic worked on these jetskis or raise the labor rate even more to get more money in, but how much more than $170 per hour are you going to charge for a guy doing a basic oil change? Or perhaps the mechanic is slowing down in his old age, who knows? My advice? Perhaps it pays to look for a different place. By the way, all the positive reviews (with the exception of one) are about Highland Lakes Seadoo, which were the previous owners. I liked that place. The new ownership has turned greedy.

He told us about his business, so we booked a trip. Got there early this morning and had a great adventure! We learned lots of things and will definitely be back. He's reasonably priced, incredibly pleasant, and is great at his job. We had tons of fun and went home with enough fish for several dinners! What more could you want?! Oh, and considering how quickly I sunburn, I appreciated the shade he has on his boat!
