The flooring in my daughter's room is buckling, and the custom stair treads are cracking due to improper installation. The stairs squeak terribly, and all the mitered corners of the stairs are loose and coming apart. I have been incredibly patient, waiting for over a year for Sawgrass Floors to address and repair these issues. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, they are no longer responding and appear unwilling to stand behind their work. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I regret choosing Sawgrass Floors for this project. I cannot recommend them based on the poor quality of the installation and their complete lack of accountability or customer service.

What he does is this: he will take your deposit, tell you that it will take weeks to get the product, Use that money to pay other things, hope that a new customer will come and give another deposit to pay for your product, but when that didnt happen he would hold on to my money and use that to pay for the product, and when it was time to repay me, he would cut part of it and push to "next payment"! By doing that the snowball rolled to more than $30k and now that he doesnt have that "bank" along him, be careful! I thought he was an honest man, even going against what a lot o people say about him, but after what he did last time (holding $17k from a job done at the JCC Pembroke Pines.)saying he will have to repay for a job done in August that a glue failure resulted in replacement of 1200 feet, which he tried really hard to blame me (when we both know he changed the glue we being using for more than 7 years to a glue $20 / a bucket cheaper to "try it out"). I even knowing it was not my fault said...its ok, ill replace the floor, but pay me for what you own me from last job, well he didnt! It was just an excuse to hold my money which he spent it already! Note that this is a separate contractor than the person you actually speak to. I had some issues with communication, but everything was resolved in the end. On the day of the move they arrived a little later than the expected time, with notice. Which btw happens when your move is in the middle of the day, so be warned if punctuality is any issues pick the morning slots. I hired the 2 movers special, whom took 5 hours to move us completely. There was about 50 boxes, two dressers, and many large / heavy miscellaneous items. For as much work as it was the 2 men were incredibly fast and worked very efficiently to pack up the truck. Their attitude was excellent through out the whole process and they were very concerned that my mom and I did nothing and not worry. I would recommend them highly!!! This is my 2nd review of Flooring King. Unfortunately, the floors that were originally installed in…read more2020 were ruined by a leak that went through our house. Not all the areas were bad, but we decided to replace all the flooring to avoid the possibility of mold forming. After remediation was done to dry the walls, we coordinated with Alex to pick out the floors. Communication throughout was great and pricing was more than reaaonable. This install was exceptional. Our quote included moving furniture, removing baseboards and flooring and replacing with new, and hauling the removed flooring to the dump. They took their time to make it right, but they worked quickly and even navaigated through some rain that came through. We had an area in our kitchen where the concrete subfloor was raised, and instead of installing the flooring over that area for a surprise broken board later, they showed us the problem and my husband grinded down that area flat. They came back the next day to finish the floors. I will always respect integrity and honesty in any company we hire! If you read reviews about floors cracking or having issues, it is very likely the subfloor had poor prep or a poor surface, so keep that in mind. I do not believe that Flooring King handles floor prep, so if you have a bad subfloor, and don't get it fixed prior to install, you will very likely run into problems as these are floating floors and are only as good as the surface they're laid on. We were very satisfied with the install, the installers, the pricing and Flooring King. They helped to make a stressful situation more manageable!

I have had tons of work done and never once was asked for such a thing. After calling the President of our HOA, I was told we have no such package and that no requirements were necessary by the HOA. She said without this made-up package, the owner would not come to my condo. Then when I asked to speak with the owner, I was put on hold for several moments and told just to provide the dimensions of my apartment and he would give me a quote for my kitchen remodel. Total lack of professionalism and courtesy, would not recommend.
