You get a full evaluation on your first visit. They ask what your issues are as well as what kind of function you want to regain. Very comprehensive. My therapist was knowledgeable, competent and friendly. Being that they're located in the hospital complex, they follow full PPE protocols. Everything is neat and clean. My favorite thing is that they use the MedBridge Go app to assign exercises. You can follow along with the exercises with the animation. Very easy way to maintain the proper form. Anything that makes the process easier is welcome. Sadly Mount Sinai stopped taking my insurance so I haven't been able to continue. From recent news articles it seems to be more of a Mount Sinai problem than an insurer problem so I have to take off a star. Otherwise it would be perfect. I'm going to miss this place.

I received treatment at Spear PT's Upper East Side location on 3rd Avenue between 67th and 68th Streets, where my physical therapist was Ronique James. After eight weeks of treatment, I am now almost pain-free. Ronique was smart, caring, and attentive throughout the process. She listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions about my condition, and checked in regularly about which parts of the treatment felt too difficult, which exercises were helpful, and how I was progressing. She also varied the exercises, which kept the treatment from becoming repetitive or boring. Her approach reflected a strong understanding of my condition and the appropriate combination of care, including massage, ultrasound, stretching, and strengthening exercises. Ronique was always on time and consistently gave me the time and attention I needed. The administrative side of the experience was equally smooth. Scheduling appointments, coordinating insurance payments, and handling related details were all seamless. The staff was friendly, efficient, and consistently got everything right the first time. The facility itself was clean, organized, and well equipped, which made the overall experience even better.

My first few sessions I was always handed off to a technician, which I did not like at all. However the last few sessions I had was with my PT. My session times now are usually before noon so that probably is why, it's not too crazy busy but still full. My PT is attentive and will now move me up in resistance! Super exited about that! Location is clean and has lockers to put all my winter gear. Really enjoy my weekly sessions!

I have been seeing Candida and Todd, both Certified Hand Therapists and Occupational Therapists, at Mount Sinai's outpatient rehabilitation (occupational therapy) department for a couple of months now. They really know their stuff, and have truly helped me out after my elbow surgery. They are who to go to if you have any shoulder, elbow, wrist or hand injuries/issues. I am also an occupational therapist coincidentally (but in pediatrics) so take it from me, they ARE good! To get therapy here though, you must be referred by a Mt. Sinai physician. Because its based out of a hospital, they except most insurance plans, which is nice. Ask for Sara when first calling or to schedule. Note: There is also outpatient PT in the rehab department but I have no experience with them. Tracy Bartolazo, PT is great with back problems, from what I understand.

Even more disturbingly, without warning, he grabbed the straps of my tank-top and bra and pulled them down off my shoulder, then started shoving a towel down the front of my top. I stopped him, and placed the towel myself. But when I laid down, he leaned over me and creepily whispered "Cocoa Butter" in my ear, then despite there being no legitimate reason for a therapist to touch the sides of a woman's breasts, he repeatedly ran his hands over the sides of my breasts -- this had never happened before, or since, with multiple physical therapists. I hope this review prompts action from management, since perpetrators often target multiple victims.

Mmm. I could go for some Pizza. Anyway.. In 2020 I suffered a tear in my supraspinatus tendon. I did 6 months of physical therapy (at a different place) with no improvement, and the only improvement coming after a cortisone shot. A year later and I have another tear in the tendon, plus a slap tear and adhesive capsulitis. The doctor told me I needed surgery, and I asked about physical therapy. He responded to me by saying he didn't believe physical therapy is going to help, and it didn't help last time Boy was he wrong. My experience with physical therapy here was completely different. The team here is trained to another level, everyone is a Ph.D, but they're also incredibly engaged, pleasant, and supportive. They're genuinely nice people. They pushed me and got me to be functionally cured and saved me from 6 months to a year of recovery and rehab. Facilities: brand new, this is a new location and everything is shiny and brand new. Equipped with everything you would need for all kinds of exercises and therapy Administration: seamless - charge me automatically for my copay, bill the insurance, never had to worry about it Care and attitude: superb. Chris and Darren complemented each other and pushed me to where I needed to be, without getting me overzealous and injuring myself further. Lena and Ashley were sweethearts who really took care of me, and made me feel like a superstar every time I came round. Follow up care: These guys (with my blessing and explicit consent) opened a direct line of communication with my personal trainer and pilates instructor so that I can maintain the progress I've made and avoid injury in the future. I owe these guys a debt that I cannot properly articulate in words. And if I hadn't had a completely different experience with PT elsewhere, I wouldn't know to appreciate just how outstanding they are.

The physical therapist, PAPE, was absolutely amazing. He gives quality outstanding service his clients. He is professional, compassionate, patient, Top tier customer service skills, Knowledgeable and passionate about his profession but still eager and open minded to learn more. I was having difficulty with an AOS brace my doctor recommended and he admitted he was not familiar with the brace, but he didn't give up on helping me until he figured it out and then explained it to me. I'm really sad I cannot continue working with him at Park North. This is the 2nd time in my life I've done physical therapy, and this experience left a long lasting impression on me. My first experience was nothing compared to what I've learned from Pape in a brief period of time. The world needs more people like Pape. Thank you so much.

It was so bad that I wasn't sure I'd ever be pain free without surgery, but after 8 weeks of working with Pape I am able to do everything I could do before the injury.
