For $15 I don't think the view was that bad. We went for the "Rock, Roll, & Tutus", I love classical ballet so it wasn't what I was expecting but it was good. Didn't really care for the tap ballet performances. It's pretty long so be prepared to sit for a long time. I'm giving it a 3 because of the RUDE customer service. Purchasing my tickets over the phone was a hassle. Secondly, me and my friend were interrupted TWICE while talking to another couple by an employee who wanted to check our tickets. We were practically followed every time we got up during intermission. The employee did not bother checking anyone else's ticket in the area which was strange. It was such uncomfortable experience!

It's not a very big space, but good enough for the students and waiting parents. The front staff is very kind - they have worked with me in terms of financial situations and have always welcomed my daughter regardless. Mrs. Hitt has been my daughter's teacher since she first started and my daughter admires Mrs. Hitt very much. She refuses to go to any other dance school or teacher because she has so much love and respect for her ABS teacher. Recitals are well organized and very memorable. There are fees that come with it such as the costume fee, recital fee, and separate tickets fee. I don't find it a problem and they handle the entire recital ordeal very well.

For everyone "inside the loop", it was quite a drive out. The floor space was HUGE. We entered and went up some stairs to get to the main big ballroom. There were mirrors along the walls and LOTS of round tables and seating areas surrounding the dance floor. The sound system was quite good as well. The floor was smooth- almost slippery. Much better suited to ballroom dance than Argentine tango, but that's a technical detail. Also- I go dancing at a lot of places who are stingy with air conditioning (ahem, Sky Bar), or don't turn on the air at all. We all know how painful that is when living in Houston. This place had the air BLASTING. I was cold when I was off the dance floor, but I tend to overheat easily and I actually really enjoyed the AC :) Overall, a very pretty place to dance, lots of floor space- good for formal events, but it can feel stiff and uptight if you're looking for a more casual place.

I approached Staff member Kelli Melancon on several occasions and she refused these requests, saying repetitively: "We have more children like "that" and there's nothing we can do." These were minimal accommodations that would not have disrupted the class. This studio is not a place of care and inclusion, their focus is on growing numbers instead of supporting each child. Due to this, we withdrew our child. Parents of children in need of special accommodations should carefully consider whether this program can meet their child's needs and their willingness to work with your child.

Our guests loved it/ were blown away by our dance, and we loved performing it and learning it. Wedding prep can get stressful, and learning the dance and going to class was a stress reliever and a ton of fun. I have never done ballroom dancing before (my now wife had a long time ago ), but Anjulena was a fantastic teacher and could teach us and get us performance ready for the wedding! She choreographed the dance for us based on what we wanted, and it felt awesome to have someone who could make this dance into something we wanted. We told her what we wanted as the dance developed, and she could add in moves and make modifications to meet our needs. She is also super kind and even came to our wedding rehearsal to help us practice our dance and to make sure we were oriented correctly and comfortable to do our dance at the venue (for both plan A and the rain plan). Overall, I highly recommend working with Anjulena. If you have a first dance for a wedding, she's your person. She helped us create a memorable moment we will cherish forever (I have watched a recording of our dance a friend got for us so many times already!) and a dance that wowed our guests (everyone said it was the best first dance they have seen!). We were really happy on how well our wedding dance went. When we first came, we didn't know anything about dancing. We were pretty stiff at first, but after a few lessons, we were moving a lot more elogantly. It's a lot of fun and it gets even more fun along the way because you start putting the puzzle pieces together. Anjulena has been a professional dancer for much of her career so she knows a lot. She is very personable and has a lot of experience teaching. I highly recommend her as a dance instructor for any occasion. We plan on coming back to learn other styles of dancing.

I always like to acknowledge businesses who offer a good experience, so here it is written anew: Two of my children attended Divine Dance a few years back. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating to families. She offered flexibility if work or other circumstances required a change to the kid's dance schedule. With my wife working in Houston, I was often the one bringing them to dance at the end of our local school day. If I had a meeting or other obligation, the business would let them attend a different class that week rather than miss all together. I've never forgotten how they went above & beyond to accommodate busy families juggling to get every one where they needed to be. We were quiet pleased with the classes and pricing. They have a 5 1/2 hr. family tuition cap which makes it possible to train in multiple genres without "breaking the bank". Less costly than other studios, but still good instruction. This allowed my kids & other families with multiple children to afford training. The studio exhibited a true love of sharing the art of dance with as many students as possible. My son danced there and I always appreciated them making him feel included by assigning masculine chorography specifically for him. Being a predominately female art form, he was the only boy in his class and the teachers worked with him well. We found the instructors to be kind, nurturing, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere friendly and welcoming! There was a cohesive, supportive feeling amongst patrons. Over all, we have positive memories of our time & money well spent at Divine Dance.

Fairly decent price compared to the other Dance Schools in Pearland. Ms. Lauren, the instructor, was great. For the class to vary in age from 2 to 7 at various levels of skill, she was knowledgeable, understanding, and very kind. The owner, Mrs. Krystal was also very kind and helpful. The only reason I felt the need for 4 stars is due to my lack of knowledge about the competitors. I don't know what other Dance Schools in the area are doing, Divine is good. I can't wait for fall dance for my daughter.
