My first experience was great and relaxing. My 2nd time was approx 3 weeks later from the first for a waxing service. Although I'll give my specialist props on making the effort to be thorough it shouldn't take a whole hour! I had a wax service done that in all other places I've gone in the past in HI & CA the longest was maybe 20 minutes. The disappointing thing was when I asked what the price would be for "touch-up" it would be the same! That was strike 2! I've been told that the staff is mistreated. Although I never got that impression from the staff directly and never felt like I was in a poorly desireable location it has made me leary from returning. I wouldn't mind going back for another facial or massage but until someone tells me for sure that their staff gets top notch treatment I don't intend on returning. read more

Kallie did my lashes, cut & style today! My lashes look AMAZING!!! My cut & style looks AMAZING as well!!! Once you enter Head Liners, you know you are walking into Aveda. Everything is displayed wonderfully, everyone is professional & inviting. Kallie has a great personality & has wonderful conversation! I left after scheduling future color, cut & spa days. If there was a rating for negative star, it would be a negative -2 stars. The hair salon is terrible. I had an appointment when the stylist Jenny ruined my hair. I told her I did not want red...that is the color of highlights I received. I told her I wanted a bob...I got layers and no style. She even made me fold the foils to help her with my coloring. The bad part is I asked for a very experienced aveda stylist and this is what I got. When I complained to one of the owners, I was told they would fix. However, I had to wait 2 weeks and then when I called today the receptionist said if I canceled (by the way I have strep throat and I am contagious) she said it would be too late to fix. This is the worst Aveda salon I have ever been to. I wonder if the Aveda corporate people understand how this salon is ruining their name. I am willing to pay for services and have been know to pay over $200 dollars for a good cut in other cities I have lived. This is very expensive for the type of service you get. I will never go back here and suggest YOU do not either. I will go to Louisville for any professional services in the future these guys are definitely unprofessional! read more

I have been a long-term client at this salon and I will say, they are always great! My stylist is an owner and she is the BEST, but in 20 years I have been going there every 6 weeks, religiously, I have never seen anyone leave with less than beautiful hair! Be clear on what you want and above all, take the time to LISTEN to their input! They are professionals and can easily help you decide if what you want is realistic.. LOVE this place and yes I highly recommend them! read more

I have to say the pedicure I got was very good and they even took the time to run the cleaning cycle on the footbath which was something I had never seen done before. My manicure was by a esthetician who wanted to be helpful but really needed to stick to her true calling. She couldn't paint well and drove me crazy with her placating voice. I found the place a little difficult to deal with mainly because they first told me they had no openings but to check back later because of computer difficulties. Which was fine.....then they came up with someone to do my nails. She was not a regular nail tech and as I mentioned above it showed. While she was doing my nails the normal nail tech was doing another ladies nails and we were all four stuck in a room meant for 2. Then the real problems started. Apparently my nail lady took to long and threw off the normal nail ladies schedule as well as her own facial schedule. They were trying to rush her and then me out. If I go back it will be on a scheduled visit with the normal nail tech who did my pedicure. She was much better and I am sure it would be alot smoother if it was planned better. read more

I got a Brazilian done here and it was the best I have ever gotten. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing but also very professional. The waxer talked with me the whole time and was very friendly and you could tell she was very experienced too. read more

My facial treatment was wonderful,but my scalp and foot massage sucked.It was suppose to last 30 min. all I got was my head scratched not massaged and the foot massage was worse.my 10 year old grand daughter could of done a better job, and a lot cheaper. I don't think she ever done a head and foot massage. I know one thing she won't be doing mine. read more

Have been to headliners on several occasions. The final time was when my hair was destroyed by Mary K. The stylist there lack ability and should be working at a cuts by us. All this stylist wanted to do was gossip and talk about her problems. When I go to a salon & spa I expect it to be all about me! Too expensive for the services and the atmosphere.Horrible experience. I scheduled an hour facial with Amanda and had an amazing experience. Upon checking in with the front staff (who all were very cheerful), I was directed to the relaxing room, where I was given the choice of several teas, snack mix, fresh fruit and cool water. While enjoying my tea, Amanda gave me a foot massage and softened my feet in warm water. The facial was the full hour, and she used the perfect amount of pressure. The Aveda products used are consistently enjoyable, and the music and lighting was lovely. Amanda was calming and friendly, but also knew when to allow for a bit of quiet for me to enjoy the full extent of relaxation. After the facial, I was directed back to the relaxing room for more treats (and some special chocolates) and was told to take my time before exiting. The price of the service was totally fair and on par with other spas giving the same services. I would 100% recommend Amanda and this spa to others, and can't wait for my next appointment! read more
