We've tried 4 different local gymnastics places for our daughter (due to moves and convenience of…read moreclass times) and this is #2 of 4 on our list :) Obviously, as most people know, this gym has awesome and committed instructors with deep roots in the sport (my husband took classes here when he was a kid) who truly have an interest in teaching your child, but the whole "waiting list" thing because they're so busy (we waited for almost 2 years to get a spot), insane parking situation (wintertime is a nightmare), and cramped viewing space for parents is just unbearable. If you're ok with dropping your kid off or taking a lesson on a non-busy day (if there is such a thing), this place is great. Otherwise, I recommend heading 1 or 2 towns over and finding a gym with just as good instruction with less headaches.

This is by far her favorite sport and the only one that she has been consistent in. Learning gymnastics has been a big confidence booster, helps keep her in great shape, and has her practicing the moves she learns in enjoyment at home. She really enjoys SSGA, the coaches, and her teammates. Luckily the owner has done a tremendous job in going above and beyond to keep the gym clean and safe for all involved during the pandemic because it's been her saving grace, the only activity she's been able to participate in and community outside home and school.

It is way more affordable than other gyms on…read morethe South Shore and is independently owned, which is what initially attracted me to the facility. But more importantly, the owner and her staff are fantastic. They are so nice to my 3 year old son. They are patient and kind and I trust them 100% to take care of my son. They have a ton of classes on their schedule to accommodate families with even the busiest schedules. For little ones like my toddler, the lessons are more about gross motor, balance and coordination skills rather than actual gymnastics moves though they do actually sprinkle in some actual gymnastics stances even for the little guys. They also have two free play times each week that any member can attend so that the kids can get exercise more than just on their class day. During the winter months I worry about my son getting enough exercise, so this is a real plus in my eyes. Tumble Fun also hosts birthday parties and sometimes have "kids nights out" where they take care of the kids in the evening, let them play in the gym and give them treats to eat. Oh, and they have a bouncy house INSIDE the gym! I think that's totally cool. :) So to summarize, this gym rocks! Sign your kids up for the next session. You won't regret it.

They have plenty of equipment available, including: tumble track, rod floor panel, trampoline, foam pit, uneven bars, multiple balance beams, and more. Open gym cost is $15/person on Wednesdays 9-10pm (18 y/o+, participants younger than 18 must be accompanied w/ parent) I have taken a class here before many, many years ago and remember that I learned my back layout here! I got the skill the same day, in one private lesson session. As for open gyms, I typically attend a couple times a year... before, I used to go every Wednesday night. It's always a great time; the staff is friendly & super welcoming. I highly recommend MSGA for anyone looking to take gymnastics classes or simply to utilize their open gym ;) **plenty of parking available.

This place is like a second home for my kids. The staff is well-trained and welcoming, and tolerant of one of my children who has ADHD and needs a firm hand. My middle one is the competitive gymnast. As someone who was born with two left feet, I feel so proud to watch her learn the same kinds of moves they do in the Olympics. I feel the coaches walk that fine line between pushing my kids to do their best without the rabid competitive streak a lot of gymnastics places this size seem to have, especially important with the one who competes as I've seen girls from some of the other gyms develop body-image problems when pushed too hard.

My 5 yr old has attended R&R since September when we moved out to the area temporarily. This gym is…read moreamazing, and Sidney and Dave are amazing with the kids. My son loved going, he had a ton of fun. The class size was small, great precautions were taken with cleaning and sanitizing. I also appreciated that even in a class for 5-7 year olds, they learned a lot of technical skills for gymnastics; I was even able to help build some of those skills by recreating some of the exercises at our local playground. We also loved the open gym nights where a limited number of kids could come and hang out. We went for Halloween and it was a blast. Great communication on hours and schedule changes. I'm sad that we're leaving this gym as we are moving away from the area, but I highly recommend their youth program.
