This place is the absolute best! I will never go anywhere else for my pipe, papers, blunt wraps, incense, bowls LOL and everything else I need. I had originally went to smoke signals on South Broadway and I walked in and the guy was helping a group of people he did not greet me or asked me to wait or anything he actually didn't even notice that I was there LMAO so as I was standing there for five minutes still and I haven't heard a word from anybody I decided to look on my phone for the phone number to headed west. Talk about customer service, the first phone call to them they were absolutely helpful and knowledgeable. I ran up there and had 20 million questions but they were patient and kind and willing to answer every one. I couldn't really find one that I liked so he went out of his way to go upstairs to the dungeon and look for other ones he came down with four more percolators and I found the one I wanted it was super expensive for me LOL so he wrapped it up very nice and neat and put it in a bag for me and on my way home I went, I had my two dogs with me so when I was walking them they decided to run and play pulling the bag out of my hand and it hit the floor and broke my new piece!!! So right away I got on the phone with them and cried about breaking it I ran to the store to buy another one and once again he gave me a great deal thank you guys so muchfor your house and if you remember me and you read this I finally got home and took it out of the package and everything else is perfect the only thing that broke off is the stem LOL the one piece I can't fix!!!! Headed West should be "Headed Down the Toilet", though they have been there, in my experience, from the beginning. This is the 3rd and last time I will say it: I WILL NEVER GO BACK! 1st time I said it, maybe 5 years ago, they sold me a defective old style vape pipe with the stone. When I go it home and out of the package, it was completely non-functional due to gaps between stone and pipe housing. What's the logical response? Most would say: so sorry, let me exchange it for you or offer a refund. Not even. More like kick rocks. 2nd time a few years later, I went in to get a glass on glass bowl. I had the size for them, they pointed out the shelf, I picked one, bought it and left; only to have to return because dude pointed out the wrong shelf. No sorry, no discount, at least they exchanged it. Today was the 3rd and last time. I go in to to purchase a stem. This time, I bring the slide with so I insure they get the right size. I pull it out to show the girl as I'm telling her this, she takes a quick look and asks me to please put it away, some sort of no-no. Low and behold, I get home, I go in to rip a big fat bong and guess what? Right! It was the wrong size again! I go back, get a quick sorry (like time and gas are inconceivable) and when I ask for 10% back, a pittance on a $30 purchase, they scoffed and became argumentative, saying I should have known the size. I'm a tech savvy person who tends to do hours of research online before purchasing something new, but inevitably I find myself wanting to talk face to face with an expert. I wish I could give this place more stars!!!!! Seriously I was in there on last Sunday and purchased a vaporizer that had been recommended by a friend. Upon getting it home and unboxed, the product unfortunately malfunctioned and overheated within 24 hours. After trying to contact the maker of the unit with little success, I contacted the store and spoke with the manager Mike for a few minutes. Not only did he go out of his way to call and try to get the company to do something about it, but he swapped the unit out for something that works better and will perfectly suit my needs. I was able to spend a few minutes today working out the exchange, and the service that was provided today ensures that anytime I need anything in the future, I will drive out of my way to go to Headed West. After driving by Headed West for months, I finally had the time to stop in and check them out. (It's hard not to notice them with the Alice and Wonderland mural on the side of the builiding.) I was instantly greeted by an employee in a friendly manner. I was a bit overwhelmed by all the merchandise in the store. Turns out they sell clothing, jewelry, posters, and other stuff as well as smoking accessories. The staff was laid back and friendly. They were happy to answer all of my questions and seemed very knowledgable about their products. Their glass selection was huge and seemed to have just about any accessory you could ask for. They even had some stuff I never heard of! I'll definitely be shopping there again as it was a pleasant experience, great selection and it is so close to the southern metro area! read more

Dustin was super respectful considering he could tell I had no idea exactly what it was I was looking for. All I knew was they're small and look like a baby bong. Not only did he immediately know what I was trying to find, and direct me straight to the appropriate showcase, but he actually informed me of what it was called. So hopefully I won't look like so much of an idiot again lol. He also let me see/hold all of the ones I liked up close. I asked him if they had any fancy bags I could put it in and as I was getting out the cash to pay, he dropped two large headed west stickers, and a lighter in as well. Seriously this is the BEST head shop I have ever been to in my entire life. Once I traveled through Indiana and there was a SUPER awesome head shop that was also a liquor store which was super cool... But I must say The Headed West beats it by a Million! Both the Tylers at Broadway, Adam, and Joe are VERY nice and do their utmost best to help you. They know what they are talking about and are pretty freaking awesome! Headed West is about a two minute drive away from my house, so they've been my go to smoke shop for the past year and a half. They have a wide variety of whatever you need from glass pieces to CBD to clothing and accessories! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly every time I go in.
