Just recently started going to Headhunters when my nail technician, Hana, moved salons... I suppose this review is primarily for her. She is amazing. Always does high quality work and takes pride in making sure that her clients are satisfied and are always looking good before they walk out of the door. Even though I'm not brave (or spunky?) enough to go full on sparkles, this girl knows how to get it done if that's what you're looking for. GORGEOUS work. The atmosphere at Headhunters is great, as well. All of the staff is friendly and the entire salon has a welcoming feel. We enjoyed our service with Heather at the time of service. She did a beautiful job of dying my hair, but I paid for a cut and color spending 340+. At the time when she was in the middle of dying my hair we both realized she had forgotten to cut it. After that we didn't want to put her work to waste. She offered to cut my hair later once it has grown out rather than restart the process. Perfect that was a great option. She seemed very professional and understanding. UNTIL TODAY, we reached out respectfully about getting the haircut that was paid for but not performed. Upon realizing that the appointment was in April said it was too late and we should have reached out within the week, but that is not what she said before we left. Now she is saying it's not within her current policy. Which is crazy that she will not honor her word. read more

My daughter got her hair done by Ronnie Yates she ruined my daughters hair. After seeing her hair I called and canceled my appointment because I was mortified by the looks of my daughters. So I made the appointment and canceled the appointment less than 24 hours of me scheduling it I gave Ronnie $150 check which she was going to hold for my appointment well she got pissed that I canceled and she cashed my check. How can you take my money when you never did my hair. So $145 to ruin my daughters hair & $150 for my canceled appointment. I hope the $300 was worth it,See photos read more

I asked if there was anything stronger than gel (but I didn't want acrylics) because I'm a waitress and the normal polish chips easily. Not a fan of sparkles but she convinced me to get a "sparkle fade" because the sparkles polish won't chip. The sparkles look incomplete and like my nails in general look like a 10 year old did it. Missing polish on some nails too. She used regular polish anyway and also weren't dry when she said they were, which ruined my nails as soon as I left the salon. $20 down the drain. Very unhappy. Some photos were RIGHT when I got home, others photos are after my THREE HOUR work shift and imagine that, my nails look worse and CHIPPED! read more

Got a double pedicure for my birthday with a friend. The lady who was going to do my friend's nails never showed up so one lady had to do us both and the whole process took 2 1/2 hours! The lady who did both our nails was so sweet but the salon is super dirty including the nail area! I could tell the lady never cleans her tools let alone sanitizes them and felt a little gross hanging out here. Won't be going back and even though this lady was super nice I would not recommend this place for nails. Neither of our nails turned out good and I felt I could have done a better job myself. Not sure about the other services they offer but judging by the cleanliness of the entire salon I would say find another salon to go too! read more

I went in to have my nails done. The lady was very sweet but she had to keep touching them up. I didn't find out until a couple days later that she charged me $400 for my nails instead of $40 which means she took out an extra $360 out of my checking by adding a 0 to the $40. I went in for a manicure for me and my daughter. We both got gel manicures. My daughters nails, lady bugs, we're absolutely adorable and looked great. Mine on the other hand were terrible. I peeled them off that night because they were so uneven and unattractive. I was told they would look better as they rested/set. I unfortunately won't be going back for my nail needs. read more

I went to Headhunters Salon and Spa with a few of my bridesmaids the day of my wedding. They had all of their stylists working on just us and did a GREAT job. I LOVED my wedding hair and would recommend the salon to anyone needing good service and stellar skill. The price was also very reasonable. This salon is very unprofessional. My mother had an appointment to get her hair done the day before her 50th birthday. When she arrived for the appointment her stylist never showed up, she waited for a half hour at the salon and never heard back from the stylist she made the appointment with. The other staff members didn't offer to call or text her, and basically just left it to my mom to figure it out instead of suggesting a reschedule or another stylist. I personally think the staff could have been more apologetic and accommodating considering a frequent (every 3months) client had just been stood up. It was very disappointing since she had been counting on getting her hair done for her birthday. My mom won't be returning to this salon because of this experience. I hope Headhunters learns something from this unprofessionalism. read more

Wish I had read the reviews here before getting an acrylic fill done here. So many coats of polish were applied and the nails are thick and uneven. Either the gel polish or the light were off because it kept getting smeared and required many attempts. The polish is uneven and blotchy. There is even polish under the nails and on my hands. After close to two hours, I just wanted to leave. I called once I got home once I noticed the acrylic was over the nail bed on a couple nails to express my dissatisfaction. The nail tech hung up the phone on me. I will be returning tomorrow for a refund and then never going back. 0 stars if possible. Waste of time and money. read more

I expected more then I got. I was charged $45 for a full set of acrylic nails. It has been 3 days and they are already pealing off. I waste for sure. The only reason I choose this salon was because I could get a same day appointment. I now know that I should have just waited until I could get an appointment elsewhere.. I will never go back. Not a great experience. Went in on my daughter's wedding day. We had gone in for a trial run with a picture - the beautician looked at the picture and felt my daughters hair and said it would be no problem. ( A VERY simple low loose bun) A couple of days before she asked us to resend the picture so that she could "study" it. On the day of the wedding she said that she was unable to do her hair because she needed to go to town to buy a Halloween costume, so another lady did my daughter's hair. Her hair took nearly 2 1/2 hours... and it looked absolutely nothing like the picture. Nothing. It was pretty. But it was not at all what we had asked for. I was disappointed. read more
