They consistently deliver excellent haircuts, make you feel welcome, and leave you walking out more confident than when you came in. They are the only reason this review isn't one star. Unfortunately, this isn't the same barbershop I fell in love with a year ago. Instead of building on what made the shop great, management seems to have changed the atmosphere entirely. What used to feel like a classic neighborhood barbershop now feels more like a Toys "R" Us. Nearly every time I've been in over the past several months, there have been children screaming throughout the shop. If you're looking for a relaxing barbershop experience, that's become increasingly difficult to find here. Customer service from ownership has also been disappointing. On multiple occasions, the owner has walked right past me without so much as a hello, a smile, or any acknowledgment. It's a small gesture that says a lot, and leadership sets the tone for the entire business. The music has also shifted away from the traditional barbershop vibe that many customers come to enjoy. I understand that's a matter of personal taste, but combined with the constant noise and the overall change in atmosphere, it no longer feels like the shop that earned my loyalty. The real heart of this business is its barbers. Luna, Fern, and Ezra are incredibly talented professionals who genuinely care about their clients. They deserve far more credit than ownership for the reputation this shop has built. If they ever decide to cut hair somewhere else, I'll gladly follow them.

I've been coming to Headliners and getting cut by Joe for the past five years. When I first moved to LA I tried countless shops and barbers until I was recommended Joe by a friend and he is still my barber today. Joe and Nomo combine for the best and most consistent cuts in so cal. The barbershop itself has a very neighborhood and family oriented feel which is also great if you have children because everyone is very friendly. All barbers take walk ins but appt are recommended for joe and Nomo especially on weekends but be sure to know that there appointments are always on time. There are not enough great things I can say about Joe and Headliners Barbershop so if you're looking for a great barber and shop you can go to for the next 20 years or if you're in town for a week and need a great haircut be sure to visit Headliners Barbershop! read more

My 2 yr old boy, is now styling a fresh haircut thanks to Joe, Headliners Barbershop. Our first time there, a very clean shop, well organized & made us feel welcomed. It's not always easy to get a 2yr old to be at ease and not move while getting a haircut. Joe was kind enough to flip TV to The Disney channel, so that my son can be entertained. My 5 star review, is for a professional job done, great customer service, reasonable price, clean place, and was there waiting for my son at 3p on the spot for his appointment. Just moved to LA recently and one of my friends suggested I get a cut at Headliners. I ended up getting my haircut by Jett. He did an incredible job with my haircut. He is timely, keeps a clean station and equipment, and suggests cool stuff to do in the city, and most importantly can cut! He's cut my hair four times now and has been great each time. If you're looking for a new barber Headliners is the shop to go to and make sure you see Jett, you will not be disappointed. read more

I have been to plenty of barbershops (from my childhood, modern, and fairly expensive barbershops)...but by far Headliners gave me the best and closest haircut to what I want. I am an African American cat and I have been going to Headliners for about 3 months. My fade is off da chain. I am super picky about my haircuts and this shop is awesome. Joe is my barber and he gets busy. I see others coming out of the shop with tight fades executed by the other barbers as well. Make sure you call sure you make an appointment.
