Told my dad to get a haircut for my graduation coming up and he decided to go here. They took an hour and fifteen minutes for whoever did his hair to not even give him the correct hairstyle. He asked for a number 1 on the sides and to leave the top alone. The guy didn't even do that, instead left one side of his head with longer hair and the other side short. I don't know if the guy was young and didn't have much experience but overall it didn't look good. My dad was upset and had to deal with what the final result was. For $30 not worth it. read more

Great service and even more amazing haircuts. Elvis must have a PhD in cutting hair. Having curly hair, its not easy to find a great barber who can cut your hair, but Elvis knocks it out of the park every time! Keep it up guys. read more

My friend recommended Mario as a good barber. I've taken my sons to so many places looking for the one and I can say we have found him (THAT'S MARIO). This barber shop is the best place I've ever been. I've known the owner since I was 10 years old. I'm now 21, and have been coming to him for 11 years now. I don't think I'd ever go to another barber shop in my life. He's very kind and the amount of work he puts in for the price he is selling his cut at is amazing. No better barber out there. They are racist. Online says they close at 7:30. I arrived a little before 6:30 and the guy took one look at me and said we are closed. Then laughed about it to the other barber who was cutting someone's hair. I also sat and waited to see if they locked up after the guy was done and they didn't. They dont honor appointments. Made a appointment for my kid at 330. 315 elvis the owner text me that he changed it to 5pm. When my son was o ready waiting. Instead of honoring his appointment he cut 2 people hair and didnt get to my son till 5pm. Will not be going there anymore read more

It's always a bit hard to find the right barber in LA but I must say I found one here in Lawndale, CA of all places. Just book it early because the parking is a bit limited.

To him, this meant the top needs to be 1 inch. After I saw my long hair drop onto my lap, I immediately told him to stop and I wanted to confirm with him exactly what I wanted. I spent the next 5 minutes trying to explain to him that 1 inch off the top didn't mean I wanted it to be 1 inch, but for it to be whatever my current length is minus 1 inch. He insisted that I wanted it to be 1 inch. I gave up and let him finish the cut, and I obviously didn't tip him. I don't think he noticed since he apparently can't add or subtract. I'm going to an event that I've been waiting a year for and was hoping to look good for it, but words can't describe how bad this haircut makes me look. I'm never coming back here again, and I urge anyone who is reading this to just go somewhere else. Anywhere else, it really doesn't matter, it honestly can't get worse than this.

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

Enters Ivy. They covered my lap, Ivy started my Gel-X fill while Theary continued my pedicure, and I couldn't believe what was happening. Two services at the same time, zero rushing, and incredible attention to detail. I was in and out in about an hour, which honestly felt like magic. Not only did they both do an amazing job, but they had me laughing the entire time. It felt less like a nail appointment and more like hanging out with friends who also happen to be incredibly talented. She was kind, gentle, and very detailed, always checking in to make sure I liked the color and shape. It never felt rushed. Overall great experience. I'd recommend booking with Erin.

We are so happy with my sons haircut!! I have to say I went to at least a handful of barbershops near Hawthorn/manhatt beach and even gardena looking for a barber/barbershop that can do designs, but after a few bad experiences at other barbershops, I was finally recommended to this place and we LOVE IT! Janner did an outstanding job with my son's haircut!! I love it he loves it everyone loves it!! He's an amazing barber, very patient with my 6 year old son. many others in there are great too, as I was waiting for my sons haircut I kept looking around at the others work and they all knew how to do an amazing job, but Janner did an AMAZING JOB with my son's hair! this will definitely be out new barbershop ! oooooh and most importantly their prices are reasonable, they don't over price. read more
