I've had nothing but great experiences at this place. I started going there in 2012, and was lucky enough to meet Katie Rose, who was absolutely wonderful. I cried when she left, but I saw Tina this week, and she was fantastic as well. I go for color/cuts and waxing, and they have never once made me feel uncomfortable or given off that snooty vibe that many salons seem to have. DISSAPPOINTED! Actually I never had the opportunity to use their services. I had I called the number listed on Yelp, and made an appointment. And headed for the address listed on Yelp. I was walking, and was due to arrive five minutes before my appointment. When I arrived there was no salon there. So I called the number back. And they had moved. From the address listed on Yelp.. The address needs to be changed on yelp. And apparently they even changed their business name. Very disappointed! As I have a wedding to go to in two hours. And now I have no appointment. Don't know how recently they had moved. But think they should tell their new clients on the phone, especially since I told her that I was out of from out of town and that I had found her on yelp. read more

This salon gets no stars, but aparently i have to choose at least one I was just told that i will not be serviced because i had my 1 yr old with me. By the way she was in her f/n stroller, NOT a safety liability when she cant walk around anywhere. so if i was a single f/n mom i guess getting your haircut at this place is impossible unless you want to higher a babysitter for a god darn 30 min haircut. Their sister salon Mane Thing has had no issues with my child coming in with me and if they wouldn't have been full today i never would have experienced this altercation. read more

I went to have my hair done in an up-do for a military ball. I had by far the WORST hair stylist do my hair. I arrived at 2:30 PM. She spent 45 minutes braiding then undoing the braid and re-doing it over and over. After 45 minutes (at 3:15 PM) I told the girl I had to be out of there in 45 more minutes(4:00PM)....she quickly finished my hair in 10 minutes. It looked like s***. I had pieces of hair hanging out and it looked NOTHING like what I requested. I called and asked for a refund which I was told they don't do. I went home and undid my up-do and redid my hair. I basically paid $40 to do my own hair for the ball. I will NEVER come back to the place ever again. Save your time and your money and choose a different salon. read more

Everyone was sooo friendly. My hairdresser was a Chatty Cathy, and I loved every minute of conversation. The receptionist was very polite. But I hated my cut. I cried for an hour, then went to Great Clips and got it fixed. I'm very anal about my hair, so I gave unbelievably specific instruction, and voiced my opinions and concerns through out the entire process to make sure I got the cut that I wanted. I guess we just were not on the same page. And while I enjoy a polite and friendly staff, my ultimate goal when paying for a haircut is a good cut. So when I can get a better cut for less money, I'm going to. read more

Staff is super friendly! Went tanning here, they offer military discounts on the unlimited package. They even through in an extra bonus deal for me cause they got bombarded with phone calls. Haven't gotten my hair done yet. They take appts. for tanning which is a plus so you don't get stuck waiting! read more

I used to love this place when Katie Rose was my stylist. After she left I saw Serena for an updo and makeup. I showed her 3 pictures of the pretty simple style I wanted and she used her "creative ideas" to do something completely different. While she was curling my hair she burned my ear leaving a blister that ended up scabbing over. When I asked her for a smokey eye look she did very heavy black eyeshadow leaving fall out all over my cheeks. I booked the appointment 5 hours for an even and I unfortunately still ran late due the numerous do overs. When I went to pay she hovered over me and I felt obligated to tip her. I wanted to speak to management but I was running too late to care. Ever since then I haven't gone back. I do not recommend this salon. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place is HORRIBLE and way overpriced for the quality of service you receive. The only reason I went here is because they are the only salon near Manhattan that offers permanent hair extensions. I had numerous issues with this place. I kept going back because I spent a decent amount of money on extensions and wanted to get my money's worth. First, I ordered 24 inch long hair extensions and received 20 inch long extensions. The 20 inch long hair had already been placed in my hair so they had to remove the extensions and redo them (only because I said something). Second, the hairstylist Candace guaranteed no damage with these particular extensions (Lox) and after 4 weeks I was in the salon for 8 hours while 2 hairstylists combed out a huge knot in my hair. I requested an Ombre, which Candace completely botched. I came back a couple days later to have it "corrected" and it looked even worse after I left. My husband ended up helping me remove my permanent extensions because I could not let myself go back to this HORRIBLE place. If you are looking for a good salon where the hairstylists actually know what they are doing go to Aggie Hair Shapers in Manhattan. They are way more affordable and the quality of service is exceptional. Save your time and money and AVOID this place!! read more

I'm new to Kansas and I really needed a good place to fix my hair and nails so my friend told me about this place and oh my god! I hate it. With such high prices you'd think they'd do a great job but no. I came in for a root touch up and when I got home my husband saw in the back of my head that my roots are still showing, then another time I went back to go dark and it looked great after even tho I still had blonde strands I was ok with it.. But after I washed my hair all the color came out and now instead of a dark mocha I'm a dirty blonde! That was $178 down the drain with the crappy shampoo I bought from them also. Now with my NAILS I got them done 7 days ago and just yesterday 3 broke off while packing CLOTHES! Like wtf.. I've never had acrylics be done so badly then break just a few days later! I'm so disappointed. I feel like this place is a scam..a joke. I will never recommend this place to anyone ever.. read more

the staff is really friendly. i have been going there to use their tanning beds and they are really nice beds. To get a month unlimited tanning, it is pretty pricey but they have new bulbs so it is worth spending the extra money. read more

I had a good experience here. The staff was friendly and the stylist, Anna, who cut my hair was great. She took her time and asked a lot of questions to make sure she got it just how I wanted it. I think she did a great job and I will definitely go back to her next time. I would probably give the salon itself 2.5 stars but the staff and stylist I would give 5 stars. read more

I had my hair done two days ago by BRENDA at Headlines in Junction City, Kansas. I got my hair half foiled and it turned out very yellow. I went in today and she gave me a bunch of BS reasons why she couldn't fix it. As far as I am concerned her customer service rating should be a big fat 0. I did however, speak with Jesse. She was very nice and listened and respected my opinion of my hair. I am still working out the details of getting this resolved and will be going back in a week to see if some of the toner will wash out. I will update this review as soon as it is resolved with a better or same rating. read more
