This place is the worst!!!! We have been going there for many years since we bought our house down the road not after today. I have never experienced horrendous customer service. The waitress/owner yelled at my pregnant friends because they only ask for water. Which I guess you now have to pay for. Then she asked if my friend had to work for a living, who is a stay at home mom and has a daycare and told her that she is one of the lucky ones who doesn't have to work. Who does that?! Never going back there again. Also, as a local they said they don't care about us. They purposely don't answer or put their phones on busy to make you come in and order beers while you wait for your pizza to go. Can someone say shady!!! read more

We are semi-transient locals meaning we come here regularly from Seattle. There has been a recent staff change. Initial thoughts are they need courtesy training or finishing school. Not thrilled with the $29 large pizza that seems to be declining in quality. It was ok but not worth $29. read more

We come over from Bellevue quite often and the pub has been a pretty good standby for a meal. Local crowd, as expected all nice enough. Drinks are good, recommend the dirty face pizza. It's nice to have a place out here make it to stay open. We appreciate it! read more

This place is seriously amazing. Boyfriend and I discovered it when we were camping at Lake Wenatchee in September - went to have burgers and beer one day, and were so impressed that we came back for burgers and beer (and Husky football, they have Pac12 network!) the next day. We have had the dirtyface burger and the dirtyface chicken burger, and both were amazing. To the point where whenever I crave a burger I start thinking "well it's only ~2 hours over Stevens Pass..." The pizza looked and smelled really good, I'm pretty sure we will try that next. Best of all - second time we were there was post Enchantments hiking, and we were hungry. Like, just hiked 20 miles in 3 days and haven't had anything except packed food hungry. They forgot about boyfriend's burger, and brought it out 5 minutes after mine with many apologies - and without saying anything, gave us the burger for free on our tab. A delicious $9 burger free, for being 5 minutes later than the other one - now that is some dang good service. I will be happy to stop here any time we go over Stevens Pass - and may manufacture some excuses to go that way in the future. [review for families looking for dinner] This is a 21 and over establishment at all times. This pizza is pretty good (especially on half price Thursdays). If you have kids, order ahead and pick it up. Grab a picnic table at the nearby Lake Wenatchee State Park and eat it there (assuming you already have a discovery pass). By far the worst service and treatment I have received. I have been a local for 15 years and never been treated this way. It took a very long time to get anyone to pay attention to us at all. By the time it had been an hour, we had enough. When I tried to pay the bill, we were told the pizza would be comped, but she meant voided off our tab. All of the wait staff seemed to know that because it was pizza night we should have expected to wait so long. We were not told it would take an hour to get our apps and that our pizza was "coming up soon" (I wish I had known I would not have even given the paltry tip I did give) Headwaters Pub ruined the best day we have had together in a long time. Wings were great but no sauce. Prices were reasonable but horse face and tubby made our party feel unwelcome. I would not go back.

Went back again and once the newness of the place and the isolated setting wore off, and the time spent on the pot afterwards set in... I realized this place has pretty crappy food. Pun intended. Still, a good place for a beer and a burger.. but the pizza is gross (way too much cheese) and the chicken wings are wayy too fried. Will I be back? Unfortunately, my experience over the weekend was similar to the last few reviews. This place used to have some of the best pizza around but not anymore. Seems the new owners changed the recipe as the crust had a stale texture with a plasticy taste. The toppings were as generous as they used to be but for a $30+, one topping pizza after tax and tip, whatta letdown. One of the few places in the area to eat at but for the taste, quality and value, I wont be back anytime soon. read more

Came in to order a pizza to go. Was told maybe it would take a half hour. We each had a beer while waiting and after about 30 minutes we asked for update and was told it would be "right out". We proceeded to wait at the bar, literally right in front of the cashier, bar tender, other staff members taking orders for drinks and bringing out orders for take out. Waited another 1/2 hour or more--like suckers because we didn't want to seem bothersome. No acknowledgement at all from the staff--even though we were literally sitting right in front of their eyes. Didn't ask if we wanted another drink while waiting--no updates on the status of our order. Finally, asked them how much longer it would be--and someone went to the kitchen area to look and they brought out the pizza with a bewildered look on their face and a "i'm so sorry, i don't know how long it's been sitting there". We felt the pizza--by the temperature--i think likely sitting there 15-20 minutes or more--it was only very slightly warm with cheese already solidifying. Then followed up with asking us "did you pay yet?"--and in my head i'm screaming "yes! and had already given you guys a 20% tip even though for take out and for absolutely the WORST service i'd ever experienced". No extension of any offers to offset our inconvenience. Between waiting to order and waiting for our pizza were were easily there for over an hour, up to 1.5 hours--for basically mediocre cold pizza. beware of the grinch that works here! my friend and our two little dogs got our car stuck in the snow just north of lake wenatchee park on xmas eve around 4pm. we caught a ride over here to get cell service / meet a tow track and have somewhere warm to hang out while we waited. the woman who was working told us we could not come inside with our dogs. we had to wait outside as the sun went down for almost two hours. absolutely fucking cruel to do this to us. the woman working was extremely rude and dismissive when i came in an hour later to warm up and order a shot of whiskey. will never forget the extreme meanness of letting two very stressed out people and their poor little pups wait in the cold on christmas eve. where has all the kindness gone? have you no room in your heart for those who are in need and suffering? shame on you. read more

Love this Pub but if looking for a 5 star restaurant this isn't it. Just a good local bar and great place to hang out with friends or family and get a taste of the local flavor. Food is decent, pizzas are great, lots of beer and mixed drinks and they free pour (which is a plus). And now they have an awesome expresso bar underneath the upstairs pub with drive up window and you can walk in an order. Professionally trained barista. It was really nice to find this in such a remote location. read more

Great bar but terrible service! The drinks are stiff and the crowd can be fun but the bar staff (specifically Terry) decides on a whim if they will serve you or not. Most of this is determined by whether or not they want to go home early or if they feel you aren't the right "type" for their establishment. The karaoke on Saturdays is a nice way to unwind but you're never sure if you will be treated poorly or cut off. This includes all members of a party regardless of whether or not they are even drinking alcohol. I'm not sure who to talk to about the service but it needs to be improved. Some nights are great with cowboys in spurs doing flips until 1 am and the next night a group of seven is kicked out because it is 10:30 and they are done cleaning up. I have heard from multiple locals that it used to be a great local bar. I have gone there at least ten times and the service has never been welcoming- I'm not sure if this is a Saturday night problem or if they don't care about their locals. read more

The BEST bloody mary's and draft beer selection around. Literally because have you been to the creepy clown diner acrosst the street..don't. The only real drawback is all of the city slickers that come to this side of the mountains to escape the weekend rain and hog all of the seats. C'mon, if you're gonna move tables around, at least buy a few drinks instead of ordering 12 waters. The fried pickles are awesome and the pizza is affordable on Thursday's. Last night was the second time we have visited Headwaters Pub this year, and (again) we were very pleased. I cannot, for the life of me, remember our waitresses name, but she took care of us in the summer on the patio and last night inside the lodge. When you are half an hour from Leavenworth and need some food, or just to get out of the house, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. The food is nothing phenomenal, but what you would expect from an American pub, and it will fill you to content. The atmosphere is perfectly fitting for a mountain-esque environment, and obviously has maintained its welcoming vibe for some time. I was hankering for some dessert after dinner, but the menu doesn't offer any sweet treats. That didn't stop our server from sharing some of her personal candy stash with me though! This is our new staple dinner spot when we end up in Leavenworth/Steven's Pass area. Thank you for satisfying our food and fun needs multiple times now, Headwaters! read more

The Service here is TERRIBLE!! Waitresses are rude as is the bartender. I live close by and this had been a favorite waterhole to visit after work or on a Saturday night for Karaoke. We visited on 8.9.14 and had to send our food back because it was served cold (mozzarella sticks). the Waitress came over in a huff and took over a half hour to get them back to us...When we asked for more drinks she gave us dirty looks and attitude and when we left she got upset at us for not leaving a big enough tip! She had the nerve to tell us that she did not appreciate getting a better tip. On 10.10.14 my mother visited with 2 of her friends and won $540 in pull tabs and gave the waitress a $20 tip. The waitress then got upset with my mother and said "that is all I get for getting you these winning pull tabs?" Both her and the bartender refused to serve her anymore and asked her to leave. When I called and complained and asked to speak with the owner I was told I would get a call back but have not heard anything yet. My family and i will not set foot in this place again, As a local Lake Wenatchee resident for the past 13 years my advice would be to head into Leavenworth and visit a pub there. read more

We have been going to the Headwaters for many years. Their quality of service and the quality of food has been continually going dowhill. Over the last year at least half the time one of us ends up with severe stomach cramps after having a meal. I don't think we are the only regulars that have noticed the decline as there are fewer and fewer people that order food. It seems the only regulars are the local drunks who are usually obnoxiously loud and vulgar. There are other places to eat in the area and if you care about your health and the way you are treated then don't go to the Headwaters. read more

A group of five of us in our Hawks gear stopped by to eat, drink, be merry and watch the Hawks game. When we walked in we looked around for some seats but most folks said the seats were taken. There was a big open space in the middle of the floor and chairs outside so I asked the bartender if we could bring those in and have a seat. She looked at me with a not so friendly face and said they don't like that. I assume she meant management or the owner. I reiterated we will bring in the chairs and place them in the large opening to which she said "You cant!" I then walked to the wall of the restaurant by the front door with my friends to figure out where we could go to watch the game. We were standing there about a minute and a half and a waitress walked up to us and said you have to find a seat or leave and she wasn't very polite about it. I told her about us bringing in the chairs from the deck and she went to ask someone in back. She immediately returned and said you cant do that and you have to leave. She was completely rude so we left immediately. As we were driving away we noticed a group that was leaving at that time. There would have been seats now but I refused to be served and give money to those people. Just down the road was another bar/restaurant with tables open and they welcomed us to watch the game and eat. Ironically, the group we saw leaving the Headwaters came walking into this restaurant. I got up and asked them if they were at the Headwaters bar and they all snapped their heads around and said "Yes! That places sucks! The bartender and the waitress were rude as hell." Always a good sign, so yes....they would have received 5 stars....however, we had to leave due to lack of seating and we were also disappointed that they were no longer serving Mac and Jacks. I need to advise sports fans, especially Oregon Ducks, to not go there to watch a game and enjoy the food. We were promised a TV screen in this pub to watch a football game last Saturday night. We went early and was assured a screen. Ordered food, and sat down to enjoy the evening. Some Husky fans came in, no problem as there were like 5 different TV screens. The time came for the game and only the Husky game was being shown on the TVs. One TV was playing some other program. We begged, pleaded and reminded them about the promise. We were told there were too many Husky fans. Crud. The Duck game had more action than the Husky game!!! We stayed just to make the other fans have to stand while watching. Left at halftime as the food just wasn't that great. The menu didn't describe how they cooked their chicken in both the salad and the sandwich. It was deep-fried. Us Duck foodies don't like our food cooked like that. We used their icky WIFi to try to watch the game on Xfinity and all we saw was buffering. Lousy, lousy, lousy. read more
