Michael has excellent instinct and was able to help me understand how my childhood trauma was impacting my current-day reality and relationships. Like others have mentioned in his Yelp reviews, he dives straight into the crux of the issue to understand and unpack deep subconscious patterns. At times, I felt that he was a bit leading and prescriptive and leaned too much into intergenerational trauma (his specialty), which was at times hard for me to fully grasp or buy-into (perhaps I am just a skeptic!). Those types of insights are often unpacked with a professional and licensed therapist, which I am not sure if he is or not (based on credentials that I saw on his website). Also, not a big deal, but he seemed a bit distracted in some of our sessions with the "work from home/virtual" nature of our visits. That being said, I would recommend giving Michael a shot to see if he could be a good fit for you! read more

Completely honest review - showed up 5min late because he had to attend to his baby multiple times throughout the session. Definitely felt distracted during the session. The content of what Michael said is very insightful and useful, but it just didn't feel like a conversation. It felt like he was reading from his usual script. If you've never been in therapy or looked into unpacking your family trauma, this can be a good start, but if you've already started on that journey, he won't necessarily bring anything new and it won't feel very personal either. read more

I've had years of therapy (cognitive behavioral, family therapy, EFT, EMDR, NET) and was more recently made aware that I have C-PTSD from FSA and anxiety trauma responses.
