There are no hazards in the entrance, the ranch provides volunteers with water but we all bring our own food. Taking care of 60+ animals, as anyone can imagine, is quite expensive and this charitable organization focuses all of their funding on ensuring the animals are fed, sheltered, physically cared for including teeth cleaning, shodding, and regular medical care. All volunteers are welcome and work in whatever capacity they are comfortable with. Please come out and see for yourself. You will be so glad you did!

They have goats, plenty of birds, llamas, pigs, and horses. I wouldn't call it a true petting zoo because most of the petting is done through a gate. If you want a horse ride, you have to ask. No one offers or tells you about it. Everything looked like it could use some updating or repairs, and the overall vibe from most of the staff was, "Please hurry up so we can get back to what we were doing." A couple of employees were pleasant and helpful, but they weren't going above and beyond. They simply gave us what we asked for. Overall, I probably won't be back. As a not-for-profit rescue, donations, volunteers, and animal adoptions help save lives of pets that would otherwise face a bleak future, if a future at all. If you are interested in adopting, complete an adoption form online and once approved, either make an appointment to see your next companion. However, I visited this "rescue" today with my children, and I was absolutely appalled at what we saw! Wish I could give zero stars. Where do I begin.... For one- as soon as we stepped foot inside, we had to literally hold our breaths from the stench. The place is filthy-there is urine and fecal matter everywhere. And it only got worse as we walked around.. It's so overcrowded with way too many cats sharing small spaces. There is an obvious lack of necessary supplies like water and food -the cats are so skinny and clearly malnourished. The dogs don't appear healthy either and there are at least two sharing each cage, surrounded by urine and feces also. We felt so sorry for these poor animals and our hearts were breaking! :( One woman working there came to greet us. The other few staff/volunteers were either sitting down looking at their phones or in the back not helping. I wish these animals could all find loving homes, of course, but until then, it is the job of the shelter to properly care for them. The "United For Animals Rescue" is understaffed, under-equipped, and clearly do NOT genuinely care about the health and well-being of these needy animals! It's so very sad. I should have taken pictures, but the odor was so unbearable that we just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. All the positive reviews are from years ago. We have visited there in the past, and I remember it used to be great. Clothes and new items are in the front of the store. As you move towards the back of the store there is furniture and home goods. A smaller area in the back is a bibliophiles paradise with a large selection of books. Thrifting is enjoying a resurgence as a cool hobby. There are a ton of Instagram videos showing how you can have a business thrifting or how to style and transform thrifted items. A can of spray paint can give just about any item new life. I really love thrifting at this large, clean, and well organized Goodwill. I have been coming here for years and it keeps getting better and better. Goodwill has even added new items to complete their thrift inventory. Right now they have a ton of holiday decor and clothing. If you need an inexpensive ugly sweater for a holiday party, there is a great selection here. Not only can you find a unique bargain but you are repurposing items and keeping them out of the landfill while helping the community through your purchase at the same time.

The parking lot had recently been redone, but when I tried to leave, my bumper was ripped off due to an elevated yellow bumper with exposed metal bars. I spoke with the manager, Doris Lopenza, and the police filed a report (#12-2607-XXXX). Ms. Lopenza assured me that someone from headquarters would contact me to address the issue and determine how they would help repair my bumper. The light on the passenger side was also ripped off, and the bottom of the bumper is completely detached. Unfortunately, no one has reached out to me, which seems to be a pattern with Goodwill. They have great teachers and staff that care so much for the children. My son feels safe and protected in this school. There is no fear of bullying or stereotyping because everyone there is seen as equal. The administration is amazing and so helpful. Their doors are always open. The staff is beyond exceptional. They are there to help your child succeed. There is a tight knit group of support within the families of the students that go there. Everyone feels like family. And their new facility is beautiful.
