I have had two sessions with Sasha and she's absolutely amazing! I have seen other hypnotherapists in the past, and Sasha definitely stands out from the rest. I have used Sasha for creating new habits and traits for over 10 years. I first found her when searching NLP. My thought was rather than doing therapy to try to go deep to determine the root of certain behaviors, I'd simply try NLP to override it. My husband tried with something very simple. It was the year of the HUGE cupcake craze in L.A. and he found himself being drawn to the Sprinkles, Crumb, Susie Cakes and the like every day. Of course, he was picking up weight from his daily cupcake habit. But with a job that is nonstop, it became a reward of sorts for him. So, he did NLP, and within a week of listening to the recorded session daily, he had no craving for cupcakes (even 10 years later, if he has a taste for something sweet, it's never a cupcake). What I wanted to work on was a bit deeper. So, I went to Sasha. I told her I'm a Christian, so there are certain terms I know my subconscious would likely reject. So, I asked her to use terms like "God" when referring to a higher power versus "the universe." There's nothing wrong with the latter, but I also know my subconscious would likely become skeptical of the hypnosis so suggested she avoid certain terms. I'd been indoctrinated from an early age not to trust things like hypnosis, so in order for it to work, I knew we couldn't fight those subconscious thoughts out the gate. She was so understanding and respectful of my request and her hypnosis was perfect. I'd paid for an entire series of sessions, but she was so effective, I never even used most of them. So, years later, I reached into her and there was another trait/behavior I wanted to improve upon. And she did a new hypnosis for me, recorded it and then I listened to the recording 1-2 times a day. She's so good, I can't even remember what the issues were, as I've not dealt with them in so long. Then, years later, o had another thing I wanted to work on to become my best self, and she picked up right where we left off years prior. That session was today. And immediately after we finished, she let me know she'd be sending the recording so I could listen daily until this new goal becomes a habit. And like clockwork, the session was in my email box an hour later. She really is extraordinary. I've referred her to people with all different kinds of beliefs, and she's able to tailor their sessions based on their beliefs. I'm not sure if that is the norm for those who do NLP, as I've only used Sasha, but it's certainly the norm for her and why I continue to recommend her work to anyone struggling to overcome something. I am very happy with the results that I've had from my sessions from this facility. I have high masking autism, but I still have autistic tendencies that disrupt a healthy lifestyle. This works. I have done hypnosis in the past with varying results. I went to HealyourselfLA after reading reviews, texting with Sasha and deciding that I needed to invest in my health, since what I was trying was not working. I had developed a major addiction/compulsion to eating large amounts of sugar, especially at night. This is not good for anyone, but especially not for a Type 1 diabetic who has to match every carb ingested with an imprecise amount of injected insulin. When I ate sugar, I felt like I deserved it, it was a reward, I skipped meals so I could eat and I needed it, obsessively every night. It was impossible to stop on my own. I tried OTC pills, online eating programs, read everything I could, worked out like crazy and my stomach hurt every night and I felt like a failure and felt bad every day. It was my great fortune to meet Heather. She is very kind and intuitive and talked to me at length about what I needed, why I thought it was happening and what could assist me to stop the madness. She created a plan with full input from me. The hypnosis itself was so cozy and relaxing that I fell asleep every time but my subconscious was wide awake. I chose to do three sessions because I wanted to make sure that it worked. Every time I went in , after we talked, Heather tweaked the hypnosis to strengthen the internal message. After week one, I was able to give up straight sugar like ice cream to fruit bars, after week two I stopped the fruit bars and after week three I stopped all processed sugar. I didn't want it anymore. My body felt so much better and psychologically, I didn't feel like the failure that comes from sugar binging. This investment was so worth it for me. I've also lost 8-10 pounds and feel really good. I can't recommend this agency, and particularly Heather, who is a lovely human being, enough. If you are stuck, this will set you free. I've subsequently worked successfully with Heather on other issues and have sent my husband and daughter to work with her as well. Wow. Wow. Wow. I went to Grawben as a final shot at helping with my panic attacks, anxiety and rumination. I was planning to start on anxiety pills even tho they gave me bad side effects. After one session with Grawben I have had no anxiety or panic and my whole life and relationship has gotten so much better. It's been 7 weeks since my first appointment. I have been going weekly and I listen to Grawbens recording daily ever since. I can't explain it but when I left and my mind tried to start ruminating it was like there was a dam up blocking my mind from spiraling. It's my first time going to hypnotherapy and I said I would never do it. But it's not like you see on TV at all. You are conscious the whole time (unless you fall asleep) and in control.
