Back in late 2023 I bought a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe, my wife loved it . Little did I know that Healey Brothers sold me a lemon the vehicle started acting up as soon as the ink dried. Over 60000 dollars for a vehicle that google says it as KEY FOB issues they even sold me a big warranty but when the key fob started acting up they don't want to acknowledge the warranty this guy name Larry in the service department seems like they didn't teach him the true concept of customer service charged me almost $300 dollars to diagnose a problem they already know existed, the car only last 3 days before it left my wife stranded at shoprite. So you can see that they rob me $300 dollars Healey is a multi millionaire company and they told me they don't have a tow truck I had to get my insurance company to pick up the vehicle 4 times already and they didn't fix the problem. Becareful of this company do your research before you buy a vehicle from them especially if it's used. I had a feeling that the salesman, Paul Latino and the manager on duty that day were lying to me when I was buying my truck recently. I took the truck to the Toyota dealership down the road for an inspection before I bought it from Healy Brothers. It was discovered that there was a rodents nest in the interior air filter. I asked Healy Brothers to replace it as a condition of me buying the vehicle from them. They looked me in the eyes and lied to my face telling me they would replace the filter. They had the nerve to even put on a show and make me wait an additional hour while they were supposedly replacing the filter. Very dishonest of them!! Following up with my original review on Google the owner sent me this reply: "Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. We have reached out and shared these concerns with our managers. A few of our managers, have reached out to you to discuss these concerns. Please give them a call back at your earliest convenience at 845-360-9819. Thank you". Service Department. Brought in Tahoe which we purchased from Healey along with Gold Service Plan. Had recalls done and 22500 Inspection/Service. I initially told receptionist there was a squeal emitting from engine. When vehicle service was completed, the squeal was more pronounced. Thought technician should have caught this. Tried to speak to advisor - he explained that staffing was low that day, and nobody could come inspect squeal. I left. Then I contacted the dealership again. I explained there was still a squeal and we pay the dealership for the Gold Service. They said an advisor would contact me. After a week, nothing - and I've sent messages. Problem started after purchasing car at Haley Brothers in Poughkeepsie!!! nightmare car was bought with carbon buildup through valve 123 and four car has no horn for safety issue. Axle broken underneath the vehicle can't get in the trunk camshaft positioning sensor shot VVT solenoid shot fuel rail major recall not fixed car has no power at 14 lights on dashboard. no wonder why second day of owning vehicle car would not start fast-forward. Finally got somebody to pay attention to situation. Their way of fixing my car was having Volkswagen shut the lights off of my dashboard and pour straight from the mechanic poured carbon cleaner through each valve, shake my head definitely not the way to rectify the issue of the way I was sold a vehicle that is totally to even be on the road let along that dealership inspected the vehicle still no horn easiest simplest fix still no horn car I went to pick up vehicle service records are missing was told they would have to be mailed to me. Receptionist said they're blank so I'm gonna have to have them sent to you. I said that's very odd that they're blank. They're blank because they gotta figure out what they said they fixed they poured so much cleaner through the vehicle that you cannot sit in the vehicle because the fumes come through the vents. This is not the way to clean carbon buildup in a vehicle. It's called a walnut blast. The vehicle is not fixed. Problem not solved at all motor still shaking ridiculously misfire codes so bought a vehicle there that they wouldn't even purchase back because they know they bought a sucker to buy it fed up at this point told them I did not want to pick up the vehicle that is not the way to rectify the problem pouring through. It will only prolong all issues was told to call Monday in the meantime, four-year-old child has to get back-and-forth in this vehicle that does not wanna start. Has left me walking more times than it's gotten me to where I need to be. Thank God. I know the mechanics at both locations. My vehicle was really hoping someone who has. Yeah, I had a bad experience here.i spoke with two salespeople here. One was kind and opened the door for me. The other didn't really say much to me and only spoke to my husband as if I wasn't a part of the exchange at all. They refused to negotiate the sale of my car, which was only driven on weekends and in near perfect condition. The feeling was that they were doing me a favor and that I should accept that they needed to make a profit. Just focused on themselves and also dismissive. One salesman opened the door for me but the one we eventually worked with would barely look me in the eye or include me in the negotiation process, only talking to my husband. Chauvinistic if you ask me. We had little choice because we need to pay for some bills and needed it gone before the holidays. But I felt talked down to the entire time. Toys think selling a car would be a Harry day, can't believe they made it feel so impersonal, othering, and negative. I was there last month for an oil change, I was impressed by the service I received all around. The waiting room is comfortable and has free coffee, my wait was minimal. Today I returned and I am so completely amazed by the professionalism all around, I went for my inspection and Chris took care of me, he was very professional and was apologizing because his computer was slow. Service was fast and efficient. One more time I had to deal with Chris Foster for some repairs on my car, and once again I want to congratulate him for his professionalism and service. Had a scheduled appointment to bring my van in first thing in the morning because the airbag light has been on. Didn't even look at it the first day. After 2 days they told me they couldn't scan for codes because the diagnostic port had no power to it. They wanted to charge over $200 to diagnose why the port didn't work. I told them i would be by to pick up my van, went across the street to the auto parts store where i fixed the problem with a new fuse for less than $5. Even the sales person at the auto parts store knew what the issue was and how to fix it. When i went in to pick up my van, the service department avoided eye contact, didn't apologize for keeping my van for two days(this is my daily driver) said nothing and handed me my keys. At least there was no charge. Not going back there again. Waste of time. read more

Service provider Alex attempted to overcharge me by $700 for a headlight. His customer service was rude and unprofessional and I guess he thought he was being bothered by my questions. I asked him for an estimate as to what it would tickle service will cost and he told me it would be on my receipt without any further explanation. Also I had an 8:15 a.m. appointment for an oil change and it took 3 hours. When I mentioned I was not happy about the amount of time it took for a simple oil changed indicated they were backed up although I had a 8:15 appointment. Today I got a flat tire only to discover the tools necessary to change the tire are missing. How on earth does it pass a safety check without that necessary equipment? Dishonest operation. I drove two hours from my home to see a used vehicle they assured me they had in stock. I had called the twice prior day to make sure they had the car, I was told by their salesperson it was there. Ok, then a little while later I called back and spoke to the same person and said I was coming the next day. He said he'd schedule the appointment, and sent a confirmation email. I noticed the next morning the car was no longer on the Healey Chevrolet website, so I called again and spoke to the same salesperson who assured me it was a problem with the website and claimed he verified the car was there, so I began my two hour journey. Now I am an hour away and I called again and spoke to salesperson letting him know I was en route. I finally arrive, a different salesperson tells me the car was sold and delivered the prior day. Then he says 'let me check with the manager' who when confronted starts blaming his employees. Four phone calls to this dealer and they couldn't tell me the car was sold already! It seems like a bait and switch game they play here. I drove a total of four hours including my return trip, it was a total waste of time and costly fuel. Worst car buying experience ever, Recently shopped at Healey for a certified 2020 Malibu. I purchased two previous Malibus from Heaely. Salesperson was somewhat rude and adverserial, car was far from tip top condition, salesman said my wife and I were nitpicking. He was crying that the dealership was losing money on the car and I should be happy with the great deal I was getting. They appraised my car (2016 Malibu) and gave what I felt was a low ball offer, even less than Kelly Blue book low end (cash ) which the dealer offers to you. I asked to speak to the sales manager, I waited quite a while but could not leave because they still had my car keys. When he (sales manager) finally showed up I told him I thought his "offer stinks". His reply was get out of the showroom. I am disgusted with this dealership. They really need to explain their lease agreements with their customers. I've been a customer with Chevy for quite some time. Unfortunately this specific dealership could not give me a reasonable lease deal on a vehicle despite having a family member work there. I took my business to a different dealership. They paid the remaining two payments on my Chevy lease in the form of a check. I took the check, deposited it, and went online to pay off the remainder of my lease. The remainder of my lease was $799.90. When I went to pay off the remainder, it was in the amount of $1226. I contacted GM financial and apparently I got slammed with a massive fee for not leasing another Chevy. This was NOT explained to me when I leased my vehicle. The dealership that I went to will not pay it and neither will Chevy so now I'm stuck paying almost $900 for a vehicle this month. With the covid situation, it makes it extremely difficult financially to do this and I was informed by GM financial if I did not pay it by the due date, they were reporting me to the credit bureau. I am so disgusted on how customers are not informed of this information while signing a lease contract.. kind of something that should be mentioned. Buyer beware, do not give this dealership your Social Security number! On my first visit to Healey Chevrolet I fell in love with a truck and made the mistake of letting them run my credit. It's 30 days later now and I just found out that they ran my credit at least 16 times and drop my credit score Close to 100 points!! That's no exaggeration! And when I asked the salesman Kevin how many times they Checked it he replied just twice. And now because of my one visit to Healey Chevrolet i'm stuck digging out of a credit hole that they created for me. After having my Truck service at Healy for years and being extremely happy customer I can no longer say the same !! I left my truck at the dealership for 2 days. They finally get to road test it and tell me the transmission is slipping and temperature is all over the place. No fooling that's why I brought it to you. Then telling me the after market part I put on was causing the issue and explaining to your senior mechanic how the transmission is locked and unable to be program by anyone other the GM. When I ask how much to fix the problem I was told 300 dollars to open the transmission and look at it and if I didn't want to go any further 300 to put in back together !!! Really you can't give an honest answer ?? Then I was told it could be up to 5k for a transmission !! Again no diagnosis just a number thrown out in the air. The best part is after asking about the so called power train guarantee I was told oh your 30k miles over do for your transmission service and as never told prior that it was even due yet !! Then to find a service bulletin saying all 8 speed transmission should be drained of the old fluid and replaced with the new synthetic fluid over a year ago and was never done by your shop !! When I went to pick up my car I got called a internet mechanic !! Well apparently this internet mechanic knows more then your master mechanic who has no clue. Thanks for the dirty uncleaned cab of the truck and parking it so close I could barley get in !! Oh yeah the service manger is conveniently on vacation for a week !! When we got there they congratulated me and my boyfriend, and proceeded to get a credit check and ask us about how much money we had and made. but that's the thing, they didn't check the numbers on our card, or anyones until after they got all of our banking information. they didn't account the possibility of anyone winning in the room. I believe that is because there were no winners and it was all a scam. I made an appointment to go look at 2 under 10k cars they list on their site - I was contacted and texted back and forth regarding the vehicles- I told them I have cash- she told me that both vehicles will be there ready to go. The first vehicle was parked in the scrap lot covered in dust and tree debris , I asked if it was the same car due to how the pictures looked ( imagine they took pics a year ago then let the car sit in a dirt lot under trees for a while). Anyway we drove it - the salesman said ohh by the way the a/c is broke and we are waiting on parts- so we drove it on a 90 degree day with no a/c - then about 50 feet down the road it starts squealing and clicking on the driver side, as I turned around the c/v joints started to click...so obviously this vehicle wasn't "ready for my appointment". We came back and I told him what was wrong and I got a "well there can be issues on sub10k cars". Ok...so how about the next 12k vehicle that was supposed to be brought there for my appointment ready for us to drive...well " yeah I see it in the notes but thats still at another location"...so unless you are there for a new vehicle they blow you off - even if you have the cash in your hand. I reached out to the person that contacted me to make the appointment and got the "must've been a miscommunication, we will rectify it, I appreciate your patience and understanding" I said nothing to do since they clearly weren't willing to sell me a car because I was not spending 20k + . I had written a review back in September 2020, I guess it did'nt get posted. Well anyway was trying to trade in a 2016 Malibu for a 2020 Malibu. Salesperson (Mike) was terrible, argued with me, insulted my trade in (72k miles, excellent condition) cried the blues that the 2020 Malibu was being sold so cheaply. Gave me a low ball offer for my car (even lower than the Kelly Blue Book cash value. I originally Went in wanting the Tahoe ... my sales person mark didn't even offer me anything to do with that car he starts me off with the traverse says it's better than Tahoe and it's more affordable . I was open to it of course . I was aware of my negative equity. I went in with a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe I was only a year and a half into the lease. I was aware I would have negative equity. When he called up to pay off my hyandai 2017 Santa Fe I told him to tell them to note my account to stop pullin out payments from me . He never did therefore I got charged for my old car and new car . Still to this day never saw the money meanwhile I'm out 400 Dollars because of it .The sales person never offered me the promos that were running at the time . There was a promo stating that if u buy or lease a Chevy 2018 or 2019 before Jan 2 u get a 500-700 hundred dollar gift card to Costco if u are a member I got mine dec 27 got and left with it the same night . I was never offered this promo . As well as if u have another lease you get a thousand dollars off . These are offers that my friend got a day before me with her lease of the same car. I was promised by the sales manager Andy that he would give me enough GM points to give me mats for my car . With the lease of my car . He lied and than said after the fact when I questioned him where were they that I will make the points myself in a month of service . The car didn't even have Sirus XM that I currently had, the salesman told me this car don't come with it , which is not true because my friend got the exact same year and make and model I did and she had it . They gave me the car with 3300 miles on it already .The car had 3 scratches on it that I had to go back and fourth 4 times to get them done . Keep in mind dealership is 30 min away from me . I had called them to check my breaks because I put my foot fully down on the break and pump it to even stop and I just prayed it worked... they told me that it's impossible somethings wrong with it . Meanwhile they told me when I leased it how great the breaks are for stopping and how far the car has came . When I test drive it the breaks were perfect never had a problem . the car was used as a loaner car before leased to me so it cud have deff been the reason and they doubted me as a customer. This all happened on a Friday and they told me that they were busy that Friday & sat I may not get my car back till Monday and than I had to pick up my car Monday's Nd bring it back that tues . The sales manager Andy told me it was a inconvenience for him to give me a loaner for a extra day so I wud not only have to put miles on the car but I also have two infants and the dealership is 30 min away. So if anyone was inconvenient it was me .Mostly what really bothers me and insults me is the way they have handled this whole thing and has done nothing bout it when I brought it to there attention . my sales person mark and the sales manager Andy were nothing but rude and insulting . They made me feel uncomfortable to even go back there again to even get my car serviced .
