Decent service, with an okay waiting room (need some snacks tho) that has a half dozen lazy boy style chairs w/complimentary water bottles, TV & restrooms. Service takes a really long time tho - oil change/filter, brakes/rotors & NYS inspection took almost 4-hours & prices are VERY high. Staff all around is professional tho. read more

Money hungry dragon. They lie and they word things to get you to believe you have to get services. 800 dollars for a serpentine belt and a tensioner. We bought a very well respected brand for just over 200.00 and they charge 200 an hour so that means 3 hrs. To do it. Anyway tensioner was fine belt was looking old. 580 for a tune-up mean while I just had an oil change and all filters were new so 580.00 to change spark plugs, whichare very very simple and fast to do. Just came back from a state inspection and it took almost an hour and a half to complete. Bought a CPO vehicle there recently and despite being promised the car would be detailed before I picked it up it wasn't. as I was driving home from 40 minutes away, I realized there was no inspection sticker and no gas in the car. When I brought it back the following Sat and waited around for 3 hours, all they did was barely wash the car, no detailing. when I complained to the sales manager he said he couldn't give me even a free oil change as compensation for my time, but said he would figure something out and get back to me. he never did, and when I would call he would make an excuse and never call back. Unfortunate that poor customer service would ruin the experience and cause them to lose a customer and any referrals I may have given them. read more

I bought a 2023 Mazda Miata MX-5. There was a discrepancy with the interest rate at time of purchase which was 3 months after the order date from Japan. I was told the rate could not be honored as it was supposedly expired. I filed a complaint which was immediately answered by I believe the Regional Manager. We brought my son's Mazda there for some trouble shooting. For which they charged us 175 the quote which written out by hand and was barely legible was for almost 8 grand and didn't detail any of the problems the car had. The office manager even suggested my son buy a new car. Two weeks later my son had an accident in which the front tire of the car came flying off. When we had picked up the car they told us they had taken the tires off as part of the check. The tow truck operator even said several lug nuts were loose on the other tires as well. When we went back to confront them about this and asked them to claim responsibility for some of the damage from accident they said they had no reason to take the tires off the car for the inspection they did. Since then we brought the car to another shop to get looked over the total estimate for the work to be done on the vehicle was less than $1000, not including the work Freon the accident. Not only were they completely unprofessional but they also tried to rip us off with their exorbitant quote. I wish I could give them negative stars on this one not only am I incredibly disappointed but also appalled at how this was handled not only would I never recommend them to anyone I wouldn't even consider buying one of their cars again In the future. I am somewhat surprised at the positive reviews this place has received. The TLDR version of my experience is don't buy a car from this dealership if you plan to register the car is Massachusetts, although we have other issues with the quality of service as well. Because of shortages, we purchased the car at their dealership rather than one closer to home. First the positive - the salesman was a nice guy and seemed knowledgeable about the car we purchased. The sales manager took a few steps and promised us a few extras to compensate us for the difficulties in actually purchasing the car, but whether he actually implemented them remains to be seen. Now for the not so good- we told the sales person we wanted to register the car in Mass. We were told it might be difficult but we not told about the time it would take or what the delays would be. The phrase "managing expectations" is a cliché, but doing this can be important. In addition, a colleague of told his wife had purchased in New York for registration in Mass and the dealers just had runners that took care of the issue. In addition, the salesperson did not (a) cc my wife in responding to emails, including at least once when I specifically asked him to do; (b) when asked to provide me with the exact name of the dealership and the type of check required for the down payment, only provided me with the name of the dealership on the first try; (c) provided the finance office with wrong loan amount, which led to a delay in the closing process; and (d) provided the finance office with wrong VIN number of the car being purchased, which also led lead to a delay in the closing process. We did a lot of correspondence by phone, email or text, and he occasionally seemed confused as to whether he was contacting me or my wife. Because of the delays in the process, the dealership told us they would send out some by overnight express, but waited a day or two to send them out. Telling someone you plan to send something by overnight express to expedite things implies you will do that same day, and waiting a day or destroys the point of using an overnight service. In addition, the person in the finance office tried to sell us an extended warranty and told us the state of New York required them to offer us this warranty. I have no idea whether this is true, but if would be a deceptive statement if not (in all fairness, the person in the finance office may have been trained to say this, so might not have known if the statement was indeed false). read more

Where the sales department is alright, the service department excels. I recently had to take my car to get a tire warranty claim serviced at Rt 9 Mazda. I first called a bunch of local tire shops thinking they would be cheaper than going to the dealer, I was actually wrong. Not only did Rt 9 Mazda beat local pricing they were able to help me the day of my blowout. Getting me back on the road within a day. The woman who helped us (a blonde, I wish I got her name) was so helpful and nice I would be happy to come back again for service. I am NOT a fan of dealerships, I find them to be over priced and shady, so far my experience at Rt 9 Mazda has been very positive. Keep up the good work! read more

This is a 5 star review for Jamie and the service department. In a couple of hours she helped me get a recall software update fixed, check engine light errors fixed, and tire rotation completed. They even offered me a courtesy car while my CX-5 was being worked on. About a week later and the check engine light errors are still gone and the car is running like a champ. read more

Slick sales crew! Be careful! They tell you it's going to be one price but it's all BS. On the one that I bought it normally sells for $27 or 28k they said my price would be 31K but that includes everything including taxes. No it didn't. Ended up paying 33,000.They said they would have me out of there within an hour. No! Five hours! It was the worst buying experience I ever had. Slick sales crew. They gave me the monthly loan amount for 48 months. They also told me that the finance company would be charging me $500 in interest. OK. Then I find out that it was not 48 months it turned out to be 51 months. They don't tell you any of that you have to read the paperwork. My bad. My bad again. Don't buy into the "Promises Delivered" nonsense. Among the many immoral (and some illegal) things they do: inspect and sell cars unworthy of New York State Inspection, sell cars as "Certified Pre-Owned" that do not meet the criteria, warranty fraud both on the sales and service side, sell cars in need of major repairs without disclosing such (2012 Ford Focus, white Subaru wagon, looking at you!).. Sneak third party warranties on a sale of a car without customers knowledge.. Has anyone noticed their paper photocopied "License Plates" they use to test drive cars? The reason they go through staff every month should be no surprise! Management is compiled of a group of cowards who get off on taking advantage of both customers and staff.
