Let's start by saying I'm not one to bash anyone . All I wanted was a good customer experience. I was told by many friends to try Chevy they always make sure they take care of you. Well either they were wrong or I just dealt with a bad batch. I originally Went in wanting the Tahoe ... my sales person mark didn't even offer me anything to do with that car he starts me off with the traverse says it's better than Tahoe and it's more affordable . I was open to it of course . I was aware of my negative equity. I went in with a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe I was only a year and a half into the lease. I was aware I would have negative equity. When he called up to pay off my hyandai 2017 Santa Fe I told him to tell them to note my account to stop pullin out payments from me . He never did therefore I got charged for my old car and new car . Still to this day never saw the money meanwhile I'm out 400 Dollars because of it .The sales person never offered me the promos that were running at the time . There was a promo stating that if u buy or lease a Chevy 2018 or 2019 before Jan 2 u get a 500-700 hundred dollar gift card to Costco if u are a member I got mine dec 27 got and left with it the same night . I was never offered this promo . As well as if u have another lease you get a thousand dollars off . These are offers that my friend got a day before me with her lease of the same car. I was promised by the sales manager Andy that he would give me enough GM points to give me mats for my car . With the lease of my car . He lied and than said after the fact when I questioned him where were they that I will make the points myself in a month of service . The car didn't even have Sirus XM that I currently had, the salesman told me this car don't come with it , which is not true because my friend got the exact same year and make and model I did and she had it . They gave me the car with 3300 miles on it already .The car had 3 scratches on it that I had to go back and fourth 4 times to get them done . Keep in mind dealership is 30 min away from me . I had called them to check my breaks because I put my foot fully down on the break and pump it to even stop and I just prayed it worked... they told me that it's impossible somethings wrong with it . Meanwhile they told me when I leased it how great the breaks are for stopping and how far the car has came . When I test drive it the breaks were perfect never had a problem . the car was used as a loaner car before leased to me so it cud have deff been the reason and they doubted me as a customer. This all happened on a Friday and they told me that they were busy that Friday & sat I may not get my car back till Monday and than I had to pick up my car Monday's Nd bring it back that tues . The sales manager Andy told me it was a inconvenience for him to give me a loaner for a extra day so I wud not only have to put miles on the car but I also have two infants and the dealership is 30 min away. So if anyone was inconvenient it was me .Mostly what really bothers me and insults me is the way they have handled this whole thing and has done nothing bout it when I brought it to there attention . my sales person mark and the sales manager Andy were nothing but rude and insulting . They made me feel uncomfortable to even go back there again to even get my car serviced . When I had these issues and would call them and tell them with the brakes issue I said I feel unsafe in the car , I have two infants I drive with I just want to make sure.they would call me a liar && keep saying to me it's a brand new car it's impossible anything is wrong with it . Which is not true. It is not a brand new car it was used as a loaner/rental they would lend to people while there car was in service, which is why it was given to me with 3300 miles on it . I only had the car for a month , actually they had it more than I have. Because I am a women they thought it was ok to talk down to me . All I wanted was to give u business in leasing a suv and they have done nothing but have made the whole " Chevy experience " a night mare . read more

I took my wife's CRV to Healey at least twice for a slow leak in a tire. I don't think that they ever took the tire off the rim. They essentially just said keep filling it up with air. I finally took the car to a Honda dealer who immediately diagnose the problem as being related to the Tire Pressure Indicator. Going here was a waste of time and money. read more

This dealership is terrible, and they are liars, will say anything to get you in door. Highly recommend you do not do business here. I am in my 50's, called and spoke to Alanna, told her I wanted an appointment to check out the new Camaro ZR1 they have in stock and that I wanted to test drive the car. I told her twice that I was only going to drive two hours round trip, and she need to make sure I could drive the car. She put me on hold to check with her manager, came back and said that I could absolutely test drive the car. When I got to the dealership, the salesman showed me the car and said that he did not think I could drive the car, but would check with his manager. He came back and said that the manager said I could not drive the car. I went and spoke to the manager, Kenny and he said that someone in the past had a bad accident in a similar car so they don't allow it and he didn't know why Alanna would tell me I could drive it. I told him that as a general manager he should let the person making the appointments aware of the policy and that he wasted several hours of my time. He said people that want this car know they want it, don't need to drive it. I was ready to write a check if I liked the car but now I will never do business with this dealership. Though my long standing problem with my Bluetooth radio was not able to be fixed...the staff at Healy Chevrolet is always exemplary!

From the moment I purchased my car I had nothing but problems with Healy Chevy in Poughkeepsie. I purchased my vehicle Certified Used from them in 2013. Almost immediately I noticed a popping/clicking noise when backing up. Each time I brought it in for service, I stated to them that the car was burning oil quickly. They told me on each occasion that they would do an oil consumption test. Unfortunately they never initiated one on both occasions. I then received a notice in the mail that there was litigation against Chevy for this very problem; the litigation paperwork stated I had the right to get it corrected after an oil consumption test was done. As they never completed one this prolonged the time I had to wait for a repair. I had also dropped off my car for service once and they left my vehicle outside with the windows open when they knew I wasn't picking it up until the next day. Unfortunately, it had rained heavily overnight and everything inside my car was soaked. I also received a ticket after purchasing my vehicle because the tints they had on the windows when they sold it to me were illegal. As I had never had an SUV before I was not aware, I thought that was how they came standard; when I called Chevy about this they basically said it was not their problem after arguing they did discount my next service for the removal. I just picked my car up from the last service and as soon as I picked my car up the tire service light was on. My rear passenger tire was at 23 while the rest of the three tires was at 37. I just spent $725.00 there for a Battery and Battery cable and they could not fill up a low tire? How terrible is it that I get better service at Oil Change Plus. The service department could also use some customer service training, people go there because they believe that the dealership will treat their car the best. We know it is more money, there is no need to speak down to your customer and act rudely when they ask questions. The ladies at the desk are very nice, as well as the courtesy shuttle drivers. There is one service specialist whos name starts with an A, that talks down to you and makes you wish you bought a ford. read more

In December of 2016 my husband and I leased a 2016 Chevy Malibu with the Healey Brother Chevrolet Route 9 Poughkeepsie NY. My husband became terminally ill this year and needed to stop working. We went in together my husband and I to the Healey Brother Chevrolet on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie and spoke to Kevin which was the original Financial Manager that we dealt with approx. 7-8 months ago. We enter his office and let him know what was happening with my husband exactly. Kevin sent someone out to inspect our Malibu. Kevin then came back in and told us no we cannot take your vehicle back in you must finish your lease agreement. MY HUSBAND WAS GOING TO PASS AWAY - ARE YOU KIDDING ME... There wasn't a scratch on the car at the time, fully maintained by Healey at regular appointments set by Healey and not one reason for this. Kevin and his staff were not only uncaring but callus and told us "it doesn't not matter you signed the lease". Today I called for the pre-inspection and let GM know my husband passed away and I cannot afford the car which has 3 payments left after this month and I need to turn the car in in October as there is no early termination fee on my lease I see. I was told "yes no early term. fee but you still have to pay the payments until end of lease even if you turn it in". Again it did not matter that my husband has now passed away and I cannot afford the car!! HEALEY & GM SAY PAY IT ANYWAY! I have 5 children that count on me, I have to move by end of this month. Don' know where I am going, can't but a headstone for my husband but hey PAY FOR THAT CAR!!! WHY WOULD ANYONE BUY FROM A COMPANY LIKE THIS! read more

Great place! I went to 6 different dealerships in the hudson valley recently to get pricing on a Silverado and I was overwhelmed with the game-playing, manipulations, outright lies, and pressure to purchase from most of the salesmen I encountered. I understand now why most people hate having to purchase a new car! But it was a different story completely with Healy Chevy. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated with professional courtesy and respect. Our salesman did not pressure us or mislead us in any way. If this dealership somehow gets your name watch out. I applied for a car loan online and I think this is how they got my info. What followed was an endless stream of emails and phone calls even though I emailed them back to say I didn't want a Chevy. The final debacle was when I returned a call about how my customer service experience was. I returned the call as I was working with another Healey location. The woman who called me wasn't in so I left a message with DJ. I told him that I would be in Monday to discuss numbers with my salesperson and gave that mans name. What ensued was emails directing me to go to Poughkeepsie Monday morning and meet with the sales manager there. I luckily had the cell number for the salesman at the other Healey and we successfully completed the deal on my car. I wish I could give Healey a lower rating! Everything was great when I bought my 2018 Traverse until 3 days later when it completely died with only 253 miles. The transmission failed and I was stuck on the side of the road. All I want is to return my defective vehicle for a full refund but Healey will not budge. I had the car for 3 days and it's been in their service department for 8 days and counting. They still can't seem to fix it yet they expect me to pay full price for a lemon! I'm hoping GM will step in and make things right. Stay away from Healey. The best they could offer me was making one car payment for me. I don't think so, Healey. Try again. My 2016 Silverado has been in the shop at Healey more then 5 times for the same issue. They have replaced so many parts under warranty that now they have to begin replacing the same parts a 2nd time to see if this will fix the truck. Originally I was working with Chris the advisor until he tried to pull a fast one on me which lead me to the service manager. I then worked with Bobby with no better luck. Communication with-in this dealership is horrible. I have also contacted gm with them being no hrkp. Off to the general manager I went only to find out they had been using smoke and mirrors on me the whole time. Highly recommend taking your vehicle to another dealership for service. read more

Went there today to look at the Siverado. Was there for about a half hour walking around with my son looking at the trucks and not one person came to help me. There were a few salesman sitting at there desk and not one came to see if I needed any help. I was very disappointed. My wife and I bought a used 2011 Kia Sorento from Thomas Mead at Healey Brothers Chevrolet in Poughkeepsie on June 13, 2013 for $23,237.75. We singed all kinds of paperwork, receipts, DMV registration papers, loan documents, etc; they gave us a temporary registration and we drove it of the lot that day. On June 18, 5 days later, Kevin from their finance department called me at work to tell me that they couldn't account for all of our deposit and demanded a credit card over the phone. I told him no, but that I would stop by to help them resolve the matter; I was sitting in his office in less than an hour. It was me, Kevin, Andy (the general manager) and Thomas. We talked for all of about 5 minutes, with each of them, except for Thomas, accusing me of trying to get one over on them, saying that I was steeling and that I could recant my position at anytime without persecution or penalty. They were rude, obnoxious and arrogant. They told me that they could get the money from me if they had to, that they could call the police and that I should do the right thing. told them that I remembered giving the money to Thomas, but they continued badgering me. It was the most uncomfortable car buying experience of my life. So, I promptly stood up and told them where to go. I said I was calling my layer and my wife and then I left. Later that day Bill Birmington called me, the Healey Brothers Chevrolet manager. At first he was nice, pleasant to talk to and very respectful. He explained that in is 25 years experience that he couldn't recall this ever happening. He said that he was sure that it was us misunderstanding and that we could resolve the matter pleasantly. I told him about my experiences earlier in the day, and asked if we could return the car, because I didn't want to do business with them; he agreed. I also told him that I was waiting for my wife to get out of a meeting so that I could talk to her. My recollection of the events was that we gave the money to Thomas Mead, but I wanted her to confirm this; my wife's pregnant, we had been in the hospital three days earlier for complications with her pregnancy and were running late for a doctors appointment that day. I called Bill back about 25 minutes later and told him that my wife confirmed that we hadn't given them $3500, I told him that she even remembered telling me that, but that I didn't. I told him that I was waiting for her to get home from work and tat we would talk about if she wanted to return the car or not. Bill called me back around 6pm, but this time, he was showing his true colors, just like the rest of them. He was making all kinds of threats, demands, he was obnoxious and rude. I told him that my wife wasn't home from work yet, but that we would talk about returning the car later that evening. Bill then told me that he had recorded our phone conversation, that I had been caught in a lie and that he would be calling the police if he didn't have the money by the next day at noon. He asked me if I understood everything that he just said, and I said I understand you perfectly. Here's my closing thought, there are so many car dealers on route 9 in the Poughkeepsie area. If you can avoid buying a car from Healey Brothers Chevrolet in Poughkeepsie, do it. Their not crooks, but they are a bunch of a-holes. This was the second car we bought from them, but I assure you, it was also our last. We will never do business with them again. read more

We met Tom a few weeks ago when we were just shopping around prior to privately selling our car. He didn't give any less than 100% and ended up earning the sale. Service department is dangerous. My vehicle has been serviced (oil changed and tire rotations) at Healey since day one of ownership. Only ones that ever touched my vehicle. Noticed that a lug nut was missing from my rear tire . Wanted to stop by and have a new one put on. Service calls back and tells me they do not stock them and they will order one. I advise him of the unsafe condition and he replied well its been two months since your service you should be fine. How do we know that they never put it back on or that the lug nut was just fell off the morning when I noticed it. Cant believe that he thinks its ok to drive with a missing lug nut. Not saying they never put it on but clearly it was not torqued properly. Such a simple task during a simple service. Driving for over 30 years I never had a lug nut fall off and I was just amazed of the lack of how Healey employees can not recognize a unsafe condition. Surly with hundreds of vehicles on the lot they can not find a lug nut to fit my vehicle and make it right and most importantly safe for a customer. They lost a customer who has bought his last two vehicles from a Healy dealership and serviced them there. It just to dangerous to due business with them anymore. read more

Ridiculously disorganized...went in for a simple oil change that was covered under the warranty. 2 1/2 hours later I am still in the waiting room after they have handed me two sets of other people's keys and said I'm all set! Then they apologize and say "we will have the truck in soon" appointment was at 1:30, I showed up at 1 just in case, and like I said...2 1/2 hours later I'm still waiting. Update: to insult to injury at this place...after waiting the 2 1/2 hours I finally got fed up and went to ask how long it was going to be and the woman at the counter turns, looks in a the huge pile of paperwork, digs down about 7-8 other customers paperwork and says " oh yeah, they just brought your paperwork, you're all set" BS! I was sitting there and the paperwork was buried, she completely forgot and didn't care. I would rather pay for an oil change and go some where else then to actually use the warranty and deal with these people again. read more

July 28, 2014 I purchased from Healey Brothers a 2015 Chevrolet Impala LTZ. This car was a gift to me for my retirement after 31 yrs of service. I love this car, right from the get go I noticed the vehicle had a tendency of pulling to the right and called to make an appointment to bring it in and have it looked at. As I was waiting for the vehicle they mechanic came to me and said to me look what I found and it seemed to be a yellow plastic bag of some sort and he asked me what did you run over? I said I barely had the vehicle long enough to drive it over anything and he said it was wrapped around the wheel thus causing the vehicle to pull to the right. He was a little rude and accusing me of running over something. So as soon as I take it out of the dealership and drive it down the road I noticed again it was pulling to the right. I waited until I got home and had my husband test drive it and he agreed with me. My mistake was I did not call them immediately and waited for my next so called free oil change to tell them again. They checked it out and said yes it was pulling to the right and again they so called fixed it. Now this wheel alignment isn't free and I need up paying for it. Take the car home again and again same thing, my mistake I wait until my next free oil change to have them look at it. When I called to make the appointment I was told by the receptionist that perhaps I have been driving over potholes and bumpy roads and this is throwing out the wheel alignment. So now I bring it in not only for the wheel alignment but for the free oil change. Well did I get the surprise of my life I discovered that that the extended warranty that I was sucked into purchasing only covered 4 oil changes and from then on it was on me. Here I remember the finance manager saying to me that it was good to have so i would have to worry about it for at least 5 yrs or 35,000 miles, this is the reason I opted for it and wasn't too happy about it as I wanted my payments low and not high, but he suckered me into it and now I must pay. So now not only do I have to pay for my oil change but for the wheel alignment and guess what it is still pulling to the right. I am done paying for something they are not fixing correctly, I will take it to my mechanic and have them pay the bill for me as I am so done with Healey Brothers and mind you my vehicle which I purchased two years ago has only 18,000 miles so I don't do a lot a driving and even if I should hit one pothole that should not cause me to have a wheel alignment!! My 4 year old car has a rust spot on the back, so I thought it would be covered. But it is only rust-through. Which the car was in Texas (where I bought it) for 2 years and then does not get driven in the snow because it does not have all wheel drive. The part that irritated me is, I brought my car in the morning and called around lunch time to check on it. The guy I spoke to said my car was finished and the rust spot was fixed. So I run over on my lunch and come to find out the rust was not fixed because it is not covered in the warranty. Not one person who worked on my car could have called me in the morning to tell me that or say hey we cant cover it but we can fix it or find someone that is associated with us who can fix it for a price. I obviously want it fixed so it does not lead to bigger problems. No one seemed to care. Felt like they were too scared to tell me anything about it. I will never bring my car back for any services. read more
