I highly recommend cold laser therapy with Dr. Jeri! She tried it on my knee that had a pain level of 9/10. After 5 treatments, my pain level is 2 or 3/10. I've been seeing Dr Jeri since 2004 and started in her LA office. I like to tell people that she helps me walk upright. Because I have a job where I sit often and drive long distances, my mobility is sometimes compromised and Dr Jeri puts it back me into alignment and action. What I appreciate more is her holistic approach--I suffer from multiple autoimmune disorders and she has helped tremendously with everything from massages, CBD oils, supplements, stretches and my favorite: laser therapy. I can't recommend Dr. Jeri and the staff at Healing Choices enough!! Do yourself a favor and call for an appointment ASAP!! I just wanted to get that out of the way in case you don't end up reading my long and glowing post about Dr. Jeri and Healing Choices! I was referred to Dr. Jeri by my son's pediatrician. My son was suffering from back pain and neck pain. Dr. Jeri barely touched him before she noticed that he might have a slight curve to his spine. She didn't want to treat him until she knew what was going on, so she ordered x-rays and we scheduled a follow up for afterwards. He did in fact, have a slight 3% curvature that was probably the cause of the pain, spasms and tightening he was experiencing. She adjusted him (once per week, initially), gave him exercises and instructed him on how to sit and stand properly. Within 2 weeks, he felt 80% better. He continued to see Dr. Jeri for regular maintenance and within one year the curvature in his spine was reduced to 1%!! During this time, my other son, and myself also became patients of Dr. Jeri. I have had years of intermittent back pain and spasms that I thought I just had to live with. With routine maintenance from Dr. Jeri, exercises and monthly therapeutic massages from her amazing massage therapists (also in her office), I feel so much better! I am no longer constantly worried that my back is going to go "out" if I move the wrong way. I have utilized her office not only for chiropractic care and massage therapy but I have also had wonderful results being treated for my hormonal cystic acne by the Cold Laser Therapy (LLLT) she has in her office. While going through menopause, my chin would break out with painful bumps. The cold Laser Therapy cut down on the amount and the severity of the cysts that I would get monthly. Last thing, I promise - the use of the supplements she sells in her office has been an amazing positive change in my life. With her guidance and knowledge, I am on a regimen of supplements that has made my body and mind feel healthier. She also has extensive knowledge of the CBD line of products that she uses and sells in her practice which I have used in many different ways (inflammation, pain, brain fog, ect...) with great results. I walked out feeling so much better! I went into Dr. Jeri's office in pain and unable to walk much at all. I walked out feeling great with the pain alleviated. My wife and I have been patients of Healing Choices (Dr. Jeri) for well over 16 years. Dr. Jeri has managed my lower back pain to the point that I only need a tune up every few months. I feel amazing. Dr. Jeri and her Cold Laser Therapist, Crystal, are quite literally, my "healers". I have suffered with CHRONIC plantar fasciitis, in both feet, for the past 5 years. I could barely walk after getting up from sitting. I sought podiatry and none of them could resolve my pain... Waste of time. Recently Dr. Jeri suggested Cold Laser Therapy and foot and calf massage. I was referred to Dr. Jeri and she is amazing. Her office is very welcoming and Laura, her front desk staff, is very friendly. I have tendinitis in my left shoulder and did physical therapy for 2 months, which offered little help. My friend mentioned that she goes to Dr. Jeri and told me to try it. I was a little skeptical and nervous but I decided to go see her because my shoulder was not getting better. I had a hard time lifting my arm above my head, had some swelling in my fingers and it was hard for me to grip things. I had a hard time doing my daughter's hair and I definitely had a hard time doing my zumba class because a lot of the movements required me to lift my hands above my head. I went to Dr. Jeri for 3 weeks and I can honestly say that my shoulder is about 90% better. I was able to do both my daughter's and my hair with little to no discomfort. Two day later, I went to zumba class and was able to raise my hand over my head. I still have a little ways to go but Dr. Jeri gave me some great exercises and other things to do to get my shoulder back in shape. I will continue to see her until my shoulder is 100% better and plan on taking my son to see her as well. She explains everything that she's doing and tell you why she's doing it.
