She was very accommodating/flexible to my schedule. The place is very cozy and has a peaceful feel to it and her room had soothing music, clean sheets, and warm/comfortable bed! Reasons I would highly recommend: 1) She did a full hour. I've purchased many Groupon deals and so many times the therapist always cuts me off 5-10 minutes early. 2) Within the first 5 minutes, she already knew all my knots and where I hold my tension. I am very tense on my neck/shoulders, and I've had a number of massages where these areas aren't addressed well and I leave a little dissatisfied. She totally got them all and I left fully satisfied and relaxed. 3) She was very pleasant to talk to and answered all the questions I had. 4) She told she stopped continuing Groupons temporarily so she can 'catch up' with everyone who bought them. Who does that?! That is so considerate - spoken from a true Groupon regular who always has to wait 3 months to book a massage (& always wonders if the waiting is worth the deal) 5) I always ask the therapist to focus ONLY on my neck/shoulders. We've been here dozens of times and have always been satisfied - and ALWAYS tipped 20%. This was the first time I ever tipped anything lower, and it was 17% - which is pretty generous considering I should have tipped nothing. The masseuse had a cold and was breathing heavily right by my ear and sniveling the whole time. It was so gross, that halfway through when both masseuses left the room (for a rather long time - which happened multiple times) I asked my husband if we could just leave. We stayed and I regret doing so. The masseuse had such a terrible technique, it was like he was chopping vegetables as fast as possible on my back. He didn't listen to the focus areas I wanted, and I was just so uncomfortable and skeeved out by him. Instead of the lady at the front desk asking if anything was wrong with the massage, she was visibly annoyed that we only gave a 17% tip, and gave me the dirtiest look. What poor customer service. If she had bothered asking and apologized for the experience, I wouldn't have written this and would have considered going back. But I guess they'd rather have no business at all from us. That's fine. Side note for anyone in the couple's room - I've always been suspicious that in the corner of the room where the ceiling meets the walls, there is a sizable hole. I try to turn away from it because I've always wondered if there is some kind of recording device up there. Why would you have a hole in that specific spot of the ceiling?
