The one thing I want to mention about Cathy is this, I was already following through with my new years resolution, however, after meeting Cathy and proceeding with my first session (I bought the three session package deal, no brainer) I think Cathy may have added a few more years to my life. Her simple advice to me was water. She advised me to drink half of my body weight in ounces per day. This tidbit of advice has motivated me because the results don't lie. If there was ever a person who was scared to death of having an object stuck in their rectum , it would be me but as the other reviews have stated, Cathy is the best. Cathy is so warm and makes sure you feel comfortable before, during, and after the session. The procedure can be a bit uncomfortable, but the results are amazing. I've only had one session out of three and I feel more energized and my skin is clearing up. I've always had fatigue. So, I went to the HCC on a Saturday morning about 5 minutes before 10 am, which was my appointment time. Upon entering, I didn't see anyone at the front desk. I saw two clients sitting, and no additional chairs for me to sit. So, I stood around wondering if someone's going to eventually come up to the front. Well, another 10 minutes or so pass, and the two clients that had been sitting go in together for their apparent couples session. However, I still haven't seen anyone at the front desk, so, I go out to my truck to make a call to HCC, thinking maybe someone from the back or one of the rooms might answer the phone. No success. So, I re-enter the HCC and I look in the back and I see someone that may be an employee. I shout out a gentle "hello", not wanting to disturb others that are in their session. She doesn't hear me, so I start walking towards the back and finally we make contact. I told her there was no one up front and my appointment was with Cathy at 10:00. She tells me "sorry, but we're very busy". (not very warm or sincere). So, I ask her if she knows how long Cathy's going to be, and she responds, "I'm Cathy, but I'm with a client, but please fill out this form" (again, not very warm), and she proceeds to walk out to the front. I guess from all the great Cathy reviews, I was expecting someone warm and friendly, with a smile, but she was nothing like that. In any case, my thinking was, if she's with a client, I may not have the time for the session, so, I decide not to fill out the form, and proceeded to walk out to the front. As i walk up to the front, Cathy asks me "did you fill out the form", so I tell her no, because I don't know when you'll be done with your client, and I have another appointment to go to. She tells me her clients in the bathroom, and that she (Cathy), will get me out in time for my next appointment. Basically, what Cathy meant to say in the beginning was that she was finishing up with her client, but she's in the restroom, and as soon as she's out of the restroom, and all paid for, I can begin my session. But she didn't say that. All she said was that "I'm with a client". So, I go back to the back of the office to start filling out the paperwork, and I find myself, a bit stressed and uneasy. I ask myself, do I really want to spend the next 40 minutes with Cathy? I've read all the great reviews, but she's nothing like what I had imagined. I think upon our first contact, when I told her that I'm Cathy's 10:00 appointment, the Cathy I had envisioned would have greeted me with a big smile, "hey, you're Richard, right"? But all she said was "we're really busy" She didn't even introduce herself until later. Not exactly friendly. And believe me, I don't yelp often, and I NEVER give poor reviews. The handful of reviews I've given have all been 4 or 5 stars. However, I decided to write this less than flattering review, because I think others should be aware of the Cathy, that I had encountered, and not just all the raving reviews, here on yelp. If you've ever called this place and got an answering machine with a husky monotone voice, well, that's Cathy. I'm giving it 3 stars, because Cathy was great with the email responses, and the price was really good (3 sessions for $159). However, with less than friendly service, I found myself, at unease, and thinking do I really want this person ramming a plastic tube up my butt??? Heck, who knows...give her a try.
