I had upperback pain. its been ongoing since 2002. I can't sleep thr at night because pain wakes me up. This pain is a real pain in the ass. because it causes sleep disturbing as well. I tried MRI, CT and radiologist can't detect anything. My primary doc asked me to take a Omepresol for gastiritis. it didnt help. I was at a loss. I first started acupuncture to help heal a sports injury that had still been bothering me after several months of rest. I have tried everything i could do for my backpain. i had a chronic backpain. i did yoga , back-stroke swimming, walking for 30mins daily. it helped me but didn't give me a pain-relif. My primary doctor was concerned about a possible heart attack and sent me to the emergency room. Most of the stress seemed to affect the back of my neck and my head as well, causing severe muscle tension and constant headaches. After fainting twice, I was honestly terrified that something even more serious, like a stroke, might happen. I truly believe I was very fortunate to find this clinic during such a frightening time with my health. Because of these stress-related symptoms, I sought help from a cardiologist, a neurologist, and even a psychiatrist. I truly appreciated their care and efforts, but unfortunately, I did not experience much noticeable improvement. It wasn't until I started receiving acupuncture treatments here that I finally began to feel my body slowly recovering. My stressful situation has not gone away, so even with consistent treatment, I am not completely symptom-free. However, after receiving acupuncture treatments from Dr. Yoojin, I could actually feel the muscles in the back of my neck beginning to release. The muscles that had felt like solid rock gradually became softer, the pressure and tension around my neck and head eased, and my headaches became much more manageable. I still visit the clinic every two weeks, and my condition has improved so much compared with when I first came here. Looking back, it honestly scares me to think about how much worse I might be feeling today if I had never found this clinic. What makes Dr. Yoojin special is not only her excellent acupuncture skills; she also genuinely cares about her patients and supports them emotionally. Every time I visit, I leave feeling calmer, lighter, and more hopeful. I had been to several other acupuncture clinics before and had concerns about their cleanliness and hygiene. This clinic, however, is very clean and well-maintained, which made me feel even more comfortable and confident receiving treatment here. Acupuncture may still be unfamiliar to many people in the United States, but if you are struggling with chronic muscle tension, neck pain, shoulder pain, stress-related symptoms, or nerve discomfort, I highly recommend giving this clinic a try. I showed up to my scheduled appointment and ended up waiting 45 minutes with no communication about what was going on. When I finally said I couldn't wait any longer, the front desk staff told me (very rudely) that they were still verifying my insurance. This was the first I'd heard of it. I had already been told the doctor would see me and that if there were any issues, I'd be informed later about potential charges. When I calmly said she could've been a little kinder about it, she snapped, "I'm done with you," and shoved a refund at me. Completely unprofessional behavior from someone in a healthcare setting. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, basic communication, and transparency. Beware.

The office is cozy and clean and the pricing is up front and transparent. They open on Saturday and Sunday !!! The next day, Dr. Sakai patiently spending her time to listen to all my symptoms and everything I explained. Now I know why she could not take me yesterday. She gives each patient all their time during consultation. I felt the respect of my time she spent with me. She diagnosed and then performed acupuncture. As she inserted each needle, I immediately could feel the difference. After 25 minutes, my eyes still closed, I was so grateful for the treatment by an amazing Dr. She definitely has healing hands. I felt normal and also shoulders and neck pain are gone. When I got home, I was able to do a whole 1 hour of aerobic exercise with no issues and no pain. Three years ago, I had the same issue and visited 3 different acupuncturists First acupuncturist left bruises all over my body.
