She didn't have any availability until a month or so later but I was fine with waiting since it was a good deal. The night before my appointment, I received a voicemail from another woman calling on her behalf saying that Erin had an emergency and had to reschedule. I was disappointed that I wasn't going to have my massage the next day but understood since life happens. I reached out to Erin a few weeks later since I hadn't heard back about rescheduling and I also had some product for her in my own business and wanted to see if she still needed this. She contacted me back a few days later and we rescheduled the appointment within those next few weeks, which made me happy. I went this past weekend and so glad I did! The location of her studio is great since it's right on Niagara Falls Blvd in a busy area. I went a few minutes early and she was very welcoming and we sat down and talked about what my problem areas were and how much pressure I like with my massage. Afterwards she brought me into the massage room and asked if it was ok to use some essential oils with my massage. I was excited because I just bought a kit for myself and lavender is one of my favorite scents so she used that. The music that she played was extremely relaxing and I really loved it. The massage was wonderful! She told me before we started that she specializes in deep tissue massage and I've never had that before. I told her I like medium pressure so she was really good with accommodating that. The only complaint I would have is I tend to usually be cold and I found myself cold at some points of the massage. I wish there was a table warmer or it was warmer in the room in general. Other than that, I left there feeling much better than when I came. I was very relaxed and I'm looking forward to booking another massage with Erin in the future.

At this writing 30 minutes later I still feel so much better. My biggest complaint and it will influence whether I go back or not is the lack of English spoken which I don't mind except the staff spent the whole time talking among themselves basically ignoring us. I felt immediately comfortable with Lakieta, which is saying something. You have to be careful about who you let put their hands on you! She is amazingly intuitive, careful, methodical, and deliberate. I think I zoned out at one point, which only happens when you feel safe. She took the time to do an intake, and made sure I was okay afterwards. Yes, I booked my next five appointments before I left. You should too. She's a freaking unicorn!

It's located on the second floor of the building off of Delaware and Virginia. Parking can be a pain in the ass if you don't have quarters or the parking app downloaded as there's only street parking. Another issue with this location is the room I was in was right next to the receptionist so I heard every conversation and phone call which was a little annoying. There weren't many customers so it didn't happen often. Overall, I would still come back here. Sarah gives the best massages and pays close attention to my sore areas. She is friendly and patient and I couldn't speak more highly of her. I just don't care for this location.

The 90 minute massage was $98 and I gave a 20% tip. My masseuse provided me with a bottle of water after the massage as well. To start, the space where you receive your massage is in a very zen, cool space filled with things to help you relax and feel comfortable. It is located inside a mixed use building so there were several points where we heard people talking and yelling during the massage, so that was a bit annoying but not Joe's fault. If you're used to a spa like massage, this is not the place for you. That being said, I've had massages in all different types of spaces so I could get over the noise and still relax. The techniques he used were very unique and many I hadn't experienced before. I felt very loose and relaxed afterwards and noticed later that night I was extremely emotional so massage must have worked out a lot of emotions and built up tension. It was a very relaxing experience and the ambient music was perfect. Joe made sure to make sure I was comfortable many times and didn't talk much during the massage which I appreciated, as some LMTs are chatty when you're trying to relax. He also started off the session by explaining his approach and techniques which I really appreciated and helped make me feel comfortable. I will definitely be going back to him for a second massage when we pull out of the COVID orange-zone.
