I did read a bad review about something getting stolen. I don't know how this could have even happened. They have you put your belongings on a table next to your station not in a separate room. What really worries me is that they instruct customers to place their personal belongings in an area that is a blind spot for the cameras. Your bag is not visible at all. This creates an unsafe environment where theft can happen with no accountability. The workers tried to gaslight me and tell me maybe I dropped my hat... I was disgusted and I will never return here again. This place should be shut down and put out of business! 0/10 I would not recommend coming here and if you do try to bring as little stuff in as possible because they are disgusting thieves and will lie straight to your face. Sound bowl therapy uses the calming vibrations of sound bowls to improve anxiety & tension, boost mood, work on our chakras, increase spiritual well-being and restore harmony to both the mind and body. Natalia was our sound bowl therapist and was calm, spiritual and enlightening. I can't wait to go back and do this again. Natalia also is a Reiki master. I've done Reiki before and loved that experience as well. It was interesting to hear Natalia's thoughts of what she felt was going on with each of us at the end of the session. Two of us had the energy of our loved ones with us during the session, and I was lucky enough that Natalia felt the energy of my dad. I was able to tune out everything around me and delve into the experience, but my friends said they heard people talking within the other parts of the studio, such as massages and other therapies in other rooms. One gal said she felt like getting up and going outside to tell the people to not make so much noise. Again, I was very into what Natalia was doing and focused that I heard nothing and wasn't bothered by any outside noise. Maybe it would be simply scheduling things at different times for complete silence, I don't know. It wasn't an issue for me. If you haven't taken part in a sound bowl meditation, it's a very relaxing and spiritual experience. I highly recommend Natalia for sound bowl meditation. Good massage. Here's…read morewhat you should know: - This is an Asian massage, which is very different from a Massage Envy or Heavenly Massage. Asian massage is what they call Acupressure, meaning there is a lot of pressure. Some people find it to be too much or too painful, but if you go a couple times you'll get used to it. You can always ask them to go softer if you need. There's a lot of health benefits to getting acupressure, so keep that in mind while you're in pain. - They have semi-private rooms. They have partial walls and curtains, so no one else can see you and you get the benefits of a private room. A lot of Asian massage places are open room, meaning you could be in a room with other people you don't know. In those situations you usually don't take any clothes off, and they just use pressure over your clothes. In the private room scenario, you take your clothes off and they can use massage oils and get the knots out of tight places. - They are very clean and professional here. Overall I did like this place Here's why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. Every one of these places has their own technique and routine. I have been to others that are a little better, so comparatively I have to give 4 stars. The last thing you should know is that many Asian massage places will walk on your back if you want. I asked them to do that for me. In most cases the massage person is small, let's say between 100 - 120 pounds. I would never judge someone by their weight, but the person I got was probably 150 pounds. They should know that is just too much to be walking on anyone's back. I took about 5 minutes of it and gave up, it was just too much for me. So, I suggest that if you have a massage person that is going to walk on someone's back, please no more than maybe 120 pounds.
