Been going to see Sarah for a few months now and she's definitely one of the best therapists I've experienced.

JaJa is fantastic. Excellent advice and bodywork. She is very professional and will make the aches…read moreand pains go away. I use tools and engage in manual labor daily. I get sore and twist muscles. It is a constant state of being beat up. JaJa reduces the pain and makes me feel normal. My Sister goes to her as well. If you are banged up give The Stretchologist a call.

As many massages as I have had over the years, Thai massage was new to me. I had done some research…read moreand was interested to see what it might to to help my various tension issues. I found Jaja (pronounced "Yaya") through her web site and checked out Sky Thai. Thai massage is not like a regular massage (if you're used to Swedish, deep tissue or whatever). You stay clothed and the therapist manipulates your limbs and muscles with pressure. It's sort of like a combination of yoga (stretching, postures) and massage (muscle and pressure), with someone else doing all the work! (It's actually called Lazy Man's Yoga, I have read.) Anyway, Jaja initially asked me about pain issues, then analyzed my posture to see what areas looked problematic. The massage is done on a futon rather than a table as you may be used to, and the therapist uses her hands, elbows, knees, even feet to help stretch, push, press and pull your limbs and musculature. Needless to say, if you've got a problem with people being all up in your business, this is not the massage for you, as it is not as "removed" as Swedish or more typical massage techniques. But the benefit is obvious. Jaja also gave me some stretches to do at home to help difficult areas. Overall, I liked Jaja and would recommend this style. If you are seeking a deeper or different massage, try Thai!
