Michelle is awesome!! I cannot say enough good things about her. I went to her for cupping due to severe myofascial trigger points in my neck, shoulders, and upper back. I found Michelle on yelp. One of the greatest recommendations on yelp ever. I'm a massage snob. I know what I like, and I have certain expectations. I have tried many different massage therapists, and no one is better than Michelle. I workout hard and regularly, and I've had a multitude of injuries. So, I have a pretty high maintenance body. The first thing she does at your first visit is go over your history and what your expectations are. Then she checks in at each visit. Do you need just a tune up or is something bothering you? She is extremely professional! Michelle is just amazing. She is so intuitive when it comes to the right pressure. She finds your hot spots and works through them without torturing you. She has a lot of nice extra touches such as a warm towel on your back or a heat pad on your lower back. She wipes your feet in a warm towel, as well. She always checks into make sure the temperature of the bed and her pressure are on point. She checks in somewhat frequently and she is extremely friendly, but she also lets you just relax during the massage. She has done an amazing job keeping my body ready for my rigorous workouts. Not only are her massage skills the best out there, she has a fabulous website. Check it out! You will get all of the info you need. She also has very competitive prices, especially if you buy a package! Also, her massages are actually 60 minutes!!! None of this 50 minute bullshit the big massage companies go with. Michelle does an amazing job at massage, but that's not all! I have issues with body image and she always makes me feel very comfortable and relaxed on her table. With cupping massage she's been able to relieve tension in my shoulders I feel like I've had my whole life, when I have left other massages with my shoulders more tense. If you're a runner or doing strength training, she is awesome at working out all that built up tension, she will customize her technique to work on any issues you're dealing with. Michelle is AWESOME!!!! I came in today for my first appointment with Michelle and what a great experience. The room is set up very nicely with great spa music. The table is heated to your liking and the room had a great ambiance. Michelle was very professional and went over my history and what type of massage I was looking for. She also communicated with me during the massage to make sure she was applying the right amount of pressure. I've had great massages at some of the best spa resorts in the country and Michelle is one of the best. I immediately booked my next appointment with her right after the massage. It was epic!!! I got the cupping massage for the first time and yes it will leave marks, no you won't regret it!! Bring a snack she says. Skeptical me thinks not.
