In my 16 years of recovery and after several times failing out of physical therapy due to my complex medical and physical issues that often perplexed my previous therapist, I am so fortunate to have found her and be successfully progressing forward. I was referred to Healing Hands by an APRN friend of mine. She thought it was definitely worth a try before choosing another back surgery(already had 1 in 2018) to help with my spinal stenosis and a bulging disc. I've been having continuous nerve pain on my left side lower back. Down into my glute and numbness wrapping around to my quad muscle. Taking 800mg of Ibuprofen twice a day just to get through each day. After spending 1hr with Jamie on my very first visit. I have not had to take any Ibuprofen of any amount in 3 days now. The nerve pain has not been removed completely as of yet. But I can confidently say that after just 1 visit. My functionality(without anti-inflammatories) has been restored to at least 70%. I have been in physical therapy on and off probably most of my adult life for various sport related injuries. Hands down Dr. Jamie is one of the best PT I have ever seen. I was having severe tension headaches, TMJ pain and also a stress fracture that had not healed after months and months of PT. I felt like I was getting better with my pain in just 4 sessions. I had not run in over 8 months and now I am back to running. Yes, she is private pay and does not take insurance but I was paying more in out of pocket co-pays with my insurance with other PTs that spent maybe 20 minutes with me and getting nowhere. So really see her is more cost effective and practical in the long run. She spends the entire hour with you, really gets to know your body and the energy inside you so you can move towards healing. I have been going to see Jamie since August 2 x's a week and in that short time I have exceeded my expectations in healing. I had a stroke in January but didn't start getting physical therapy until August because I felt I didn't need it, until something happened in July that is, and it was found I still had weakness on my right side and horrible headaches. Jamie examined me and set up a plan of treatment that by the end of September no more headaches and much stronger in my leg. Jamie and her staff are the best ever and I've come along way. I only had to wear a leg brace for a month due to the work Jamie did for me and that was the best thing ever to take it off. Dr. Jamie at Healing Hands is an amazing practitioner. Her specialty is body work and I can tell you she is exceptional! I recently had my knee replaced. I have been a competitive runner and when my knee started to become more problematic I turned to biking and swimming. The rehabilitation after knee surgery is essential for recovery to be able to continue my life style. I had difficulty getting into PT as many of the clinics are booked out for weeks. Dr Jaime understood my problem and was able to within her busy schedule get me seen within a week. She has taken the time needed to get me back on my feet as quickly as possible. She utilizes multiple treatment modalities that promote a speedy recovery. Jamie is amazing with her body work! I had a tension headache for two days and it ended up settling into my neck. I could not move my head in either direction, nor up or down...I was in so much discomfort and feeling very scared about what was wrong. I went to a chiropractor first and he popped my back and neck, but no relief at all. That evening I reached out to Jamie for help. Jamie worked on my body for almost an hour and a half. By the time I left her I was instantly 50% better in all directions of my neck, by the next morning I was 80% better; and morning #2... 100% fixed! I am so thankful that Jamie spend so much time with me and that she could tell exactly what was going on with my body. I have greatly benefited from the opportunity to recieve physical therapy treatment by Jamie Pribyl. Under her care and direction, I went from primarily using a power scooter and barely walking to ballroom dancing and regularly wiping dust off my scooter for lack of use. I'm so thankful for her "can do" attitude that allowed her to find what I was capable of and slowly build on it. Dr. Jamie specializes in cranio-sacral therapy which I had not experienced before and I am thrilled with the results! After just a few sessions on my jaw, I had relief from pain and restored mobility. As a result of congenital spinal abnormalities and three car wrecks, I suffered from Thoracic Outlet Syndrome for years. I needed surgeries to correct my debilitating issues, and then developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome to my upper extremities as a result. Eventually, I was bedridden for 5 years due to severe vertigo and muscle spasms. I had undergone decades of physical therapy and none of the standard treatments worked for me. Jamie was not only professional but was very knowledgeable! I made an appointment to go see her because I had, had back pain the past three days, not sleeping because of it and nothing I took helped. Once she realized I was in a lot of pain she was able to get me in by the end of the day. I felt like I was being heard when I spoke. After a little over an hour of being there, I felt much better. Dr. Jamie is the only person who has made a difference for me with a very protracted neck issue affecting not only my neck but much of my body.
