So I want to share my experience. After two kids, I have pelvic floor issues. I went in seek of help with sneezing and peeing, leaking when running, and a naval hernia. As others said, during my first few visits it was refreshing to be treated with both western and eastern type of healing approaches. I had my first experience with acupuncture. However after each visit I was confused on if anything was changing, I couldn't feel any difference. After 5 visits I realized that's all they could offer. She had given me a total of three exercises to do. In the 6th visit I asked "what other exercises can you give me, what's next?" And she told me "work up to 1000 reps of kegels every day." That was it. I didn't come back. I can find way more information online about diastasis rectis than what she provided me. Do not go here to get help with pelvic floor care.

The effect is disjointed, interrupted and a bit disturbing treatment that is skilled but less effective than other more focused and private care. Today I was refused treatment because my blood pressure was volatile, as always, and I had tingly legs and arms, as usual. The difference today was that they measured my blood pressure and realized I was right in what I had told them. They will say they are required to refuse treatment because it is dangerous. It is no more dangerous than other days for me. Dangerous for them perhaps? I got fairly good treatment here, until they realized I had been telling the truth. It took weeks to get an appointment and find a therapy that helped. Then on a day when I really needed help, they refused. This is a no, unless you are young, strong and healthy and your insurance pays on time. My bill got more attention than my health problems today.

Even though I understand I signed a no-show and late cancellation policy, I wish there was more understanding for unexpected illness. I have 4 kids. The odds of unexpected illness is fairly high. They still charged me $150, which feels unfair under the circumstances. Considering my physical therapist wore a mask, I doubt she'd have wanted me to show up sick. With something as uncomfortable and invasive as pelvic floor therapy, I would prefer a business that is compassionate and caring. Because of how this was handled, I won't be returning.

I was referred to her by my chiropractor and I'm so glad she did! Pelvic floor therapy is a different ball game but it is just as important as anything physical therapy especially for women's health! What I've learned is, it's not about kegels! I initially came in with an open mind not knowing what to expect and always left feeling great! As women we hold a lot of stress but continue throughout our day just trying to survive and so tension can build up in our pelvic floor. This is where Dr. Kiley comes in to help! Her space is safe and she listens to your concerns. She also gives you homework to do to help with anything she think you need help with. After my postpartum care, she let me know I can come back as needed or until I get pregnant again! ..and here we are! The staff is always cordial and happy to talk to whether it's for checking in/out or making appointments on the phone. Masks are still required at this facility so don't forget your maskies! I recommend Kiley to everyone that ask me who I go to for pelvic floor therapy!

Sparks location Office is clean and staff is very friendly,…read morehowever the therapists are very relaxed and in my opinion on the lazy side, more of the chatty side and not the hands on. At my first appointment the therapist did not read the post op report and was not aware of what was done but wanted to start therapy. I insisted she read the report prior to us doing the therapy I offered to email it to her right then so she wouldn't have to have the front desk dig to find it, in the end I had her read it on my phone. As therapy happened each week she didn't seem to know what to really do with me. she did not do any baseline measurements and she did not add anymore exercises until I told her my surgeon said she should have added several others in, at that point she says well yeah I guess do that too if he wants you to. She never stretched my arm properly as what should have happened. She worked with me for about five minutes on my most recent appointment and that was the final straw. I changed physical therapy offices and am beyond happy that I did. However I am now behind on my recovery due to sticking it out for weeks. With in one visit at the other office I have soo much improvement the new therapist worked with me for an entire hour and is really going to help me. For someone who knows no better this office will seem ok. But for your own good and progress go elsewhere where. This was my second time giving them a chance. Please be more hands on for your current patients and if you are not knowledgeable on how to handle your shoulder surgery patients do your reseach. I am just disappointed.

Michael, DPT, PT does measurements to monitor progress with our sessions. They also do actual hands on soft tissue massage at the beginning, prior to exercising with their cheerful and helpful Physical Therapy assistants. At the end of appointment offered heat or ice at your preference I'm a retired Registered Nurse and admire their professionalism, as well as cleaning of equipment.

I had seen a ROC PT 12 months earlier but it was nothing more than babysitting; I only did one visit. Luckily I found Lisa. She's hands on, showed my exactly how to do the home exercises and why, not just a paper handout. Each visit she addressed a bit more, gently moving me into better posture, increasing targeted exercises and listening to my concerns. She built up my confidence and strength and after 14 visits I'm on my own with an excellent home exercise program. From scheduling with Laura to their easy location & parking everything was pleasant. All my previous experiences were my choice by following yelp reviews. I was new to the area , I had no clue where to go so I relied on like folks to guide my needs. Each previous experience was different. Not knowing what to expect, I was soon another patient in the "workout" room with others with various aches and pains. From my previous therapies, I did feel like it was resolving, however the pain never completely went away. After months with little change, while almost resolving to accept my pain as my new norm, I turned to a surgeon to begin to seek out my steps to finalize the pain. I began that visit by seeing the Physician Assistant - a very knowledgeable and informative PA. His prognosis was one that would be a good candidate for Physical Therapy. Oh no!, I thought, here I go again. While I'm about to interject with my experiences, he quickly followed up with " you need to see the folks over at Orthomed"... what? Who are they?. He goes on to explain the individual hands-on technique that these folks employ in their therapy. OMG , From day one and throughout all my one hour, hands-on experiences, I can say that my pain has and is becoming totally manageable. There are times when they are so over booked that they won't have enough rooms available to provide all their clientele. This too me says they are more concerned about making money than about great customer service or treating all their clients the same. I think the way to resolve this issue would be to inform their clientele that they are overbooked at that time and may not have a private room for some of their treatment. Then if the client still chooses to make the appointment they have been informed. That being said the remaining part of my review is for Kevin Carr and all the technical assistants. They are amazing. Kevin gives his all to each and every client. I had arthritis, tendinitis, and bursitis of the rotator cuff. I learned about different exercises, message and stem therapy. Kevin Carr deserves a 5 star for his professionalism and kindness. The technical assistants Nic, Taylour, Ives, Alicia and others are caring, kind and professional. Kim at the front desk remembers everyone's name. She is kind and sweet.
