This place did exactly what I needed. Made a same day appointment for 60 mins massage at 8 pm. I received a text to confirm my appointment and then got another at 7:40 pm asking if I could come at 8:20 instead. I was flexible so this didn't bother me and they also did not require card to book. They do ask you to pay when you arrive, before you receive the service. I paid $75 total, $60 for the service + $3 fee to use credit card (they have an ATM) and $12 tip. The massage itself was great. My whole body was worked on and medium pressure was more than enough for me. They even did some facial and scalp work which was a nice touch. You get your own room for the massage. Also, it may have just been my experience, but the walls are thin and you can hear a lot of passing voices and footsteps from outside the room and also outside of the building. Overall I recommend this spot for someone who doesn't necessarily want to pay a premium / need any of the special scents or products / frills but still wants a good quality massage. read more

After looking through Groupon for a massage, I stumbled upon a deal at Healing Hands and decided to make an appointment for a couples massage. When we arrived, we were sent back to a room with two beds. The space is the definition of "no-frills" as there were not robes or any changing rooms. Just the massage rooms and tables. Our masseuses were prompt and set timers, which I appreciated. The massages were exactly what we needed, and focused on our problem areas, for me it was work on my shoulders and lower back. This was my first visit via Groupon to Healing Hands and I had a great experience and deep tissue massage from Jo-Jo. I've gotten a LOT of massages over the last decade + and can truly say that the deep tissue from Jo-Jo is one of the best I've had. First off - she actually read my request prior to my appointment. I've been to other massage locations where I put in detailed requests, and the masseuse asks me like she/he had never read the notes or requests. I was concerned about my broken tailbone and that an inexperienced masseuse might go too low on my back - but this was not the case at all. As soon as she greeted me and I asked her if she read my request - she said that she did and reiterated that she understood my tailbone injury and would only be working on my upper back, scapula, and shoulder region. Based on my experiences with massages, I was very pleased with my massage. Jo-Jo started off with warming up my back with a towel over it and massaging/kneading my problem spots. After I was adequately warmed up, she applied the lotions/oils and started working away at the disaster that is my back (knots on knots!) It felt amazing, she was really working and kneading my knots down and I could actually feel bigger knots loosen into smaller little baby knots that she tried to massage down. Still, she told me she will try to make it happen and took my number. Lo and behold, 20 mins later I got a text that I got the spot. How it works: - you walk in- state your name and time and automatically you will be asked to pay upfront. Don't take this to an offense bc that's just how they are straight to the point. -you will be lead to a room. I suggest having a friend or someone else otherwise it's be a little odd sharing a room with a stranger. They do have a curtain to separate the beds. -DROP YOUR CLOTHES and enjoy the massage. I don't need frills when I get massages and this is a no-frills place. My boyfriend and I went here and both got 1hr massages. Before they started, I mentioned that we were just looking for shoulder/neck/back work, but my masseuse did full-body/some Thai stretches -- which was ok! Just not what I was looking for. My boyfriend says his massage was exactly what he needed though and (even though my massage wasn't exactly what I wanted) my masseuse was strong and did some great deep tissue work. So I must preface this review with the fact that I've been going to the same spa for massages for over 10 years, but since Covid-19 they no longer offer massage services. I thought that was great. When I arrived, I was seen promptly, they require to be paid up front and I was okay with that also. Space: The spa had a small dimly lit and clean waiting area. There was a small table which had hand sanitizer and face mask. The room where I got the massage was also the room where I got I undressed. The size of the room appeared small until I noticed the room was halved, divided by a very large and thick curtain. I assumed this space may have been intended for couple massages or groups until about 20 minutes into my massage I heard someone else enter the space and I heard them also get their massage. It was kind of distracting, I must admit. I would not have preferred a shared room, it was awkward. Also the room was extremely close to the entrance and I heard every conversation between patrons and staff over the soothing music they played. All of this was my least favorite parts. My massage therapist: This young lady was good, she worked on my back a lot, which I appreciated. I opted for a medium level Swedish with hot stones, as the strong level was very strong, lol I loved the hot stones and the price of $50!!!! This is a steal!!!! Once a massage is done I usually like to linger in the room and rest or stretch, but I really didn't see a point since I wasn't alone I thanked them, tipped and left. Bottom line, If you are looking for a pampered spa experience Healing Hands is not it. But, if you would like a solid massage, no frills or thrills make an appointment and enjoy. It was fine. I had made an appointment last week via their online system and got a message this morning asking me to confirm. I confirmed followed by several more text messages asking me to confirm, then asking if I could switch it by an hour. They then asked me if I was bringing someone (which I wasn't); then texted me the phone number of who they thought was my friend. Seemed a bit disorganized. When I did arrive 5 minutes early, a lady came up and told me to pay and then sit down. It was a bit odd. I did; then 15 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start, my experience began. I had made an appointment for a foot massage and they were not prepared for that. The masseuse quickly adapted. My masseuse was lovely; very nice; but given the oddness of making an appointment and the confusion; and disorganization, I may try a few more places before returning. read more

I've been here four times now and had three different masseuses. All three times I had a good massage but Any was the best. She gave me the full hour and she got all my problem spots. Without me even telling her, she knew where I needed the most work. I fell asleep to the massage but don't let that fool you - she was STRONG. The other two times, I had Coco and another masseuse but I didn't catch her name. Coco left in the middle of my massage to take care of customers that had walked into the shop. I understand that customers need to be taken care of, but this was my time that I paid for so I wish they were better staffed that she didn't leave in the middle of my massage. Not only that, she didn't give me that extra time at the end. She stopped after one hour from my start time. That really upset me because you pay per minute but I wasn't even getting the full hour. The masseuse I didn't know also cut me off 7 minutes earlier than the one hour point which in was upset about. I was going to say something but she left so quickly that I was going to get dressed again, call her, Then get undressed again for another 7 min. This was really not a good or therapeutic deep tissue massage, but I am not sure if they knew it was supposed to be. I booked a great deal on groupon. I have had two giant knots in my back and am in town for the month visiting family. I decided to give groupon a try and then hopefully make myself a repeat customer. I appreciate helping small businesses over retail massage chains. They have great deals at $1 a minute! The good: the appointment was super easy to book with plenty of same day and next day availability and the space was very clean. You do not get to pick your therapist, or at least I did not have the option, because it sounds like Jack is the way to go! I did not see an area to select problem areas or details. I was assigned Massause A, and I never did get her name, not in the appointment or in person I booked an appointment for a 60-minute massage and in parenthesis it was general (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Walk the Back, or Hot Stone). I was so excited to get a no frills, deep tissue and help with the pain and discomfort. I arrived and walked in and was immediately greeted by my massage therapist. She quickly told me to be quiet, which I completely understood because many other massages were going on. She never asked what type of massage I wanted, so I assumed this would happen in the room. I will say the space was very clean and comfortable. She told me to undress, and there was a sign in the room that said: "No talking". Again, I understand, but how am I supposed to tell someone what service I want and what the problem areas are. She came in, and said nothing, and the massage began. It then became awkward to speak and she did not speak a word. I am assuming I got a Swedish massage. The pressure was light, and there was no attention paid to the big knots right in my shoulder/back area. I have never received a massage that did not at least notice them, because it is such a common area. There was more attention paid to my legs/buttocks area than my shoulder and neck, which was my main focus area, and I would think most peoples. My shoulders and back was bothering me just lying there, so I kept rolling my shoulders. I felt bad doing it, but then thought maybe it would draw her attention, but she never even touched the knots. It was just odd. No conversation. No clarification of service. I honestly sat there a little bored for 60 minutes ready for it to end. She did do a scalp massage at the end that was the highlight. I understand I got "a deal" and the place is basic, but I am still spending money and appreciate good customer service. I still tipped well and appreciate her time, but this was the most disappointing massage I have received. It really could have been great with communication. I really wanted to love this place for the ease and availability of booking and great prices, but I left more stressed and more in pain than before I entered. read more

They made me feel very comfortable and made sure that the massage was appropriate to my liking! Do not underestimate their strength either! I've had a LOT of massages in my life. I travel for work, on an airplane twice a week, every week, and I had spinal fusion surgery last year. My back always hurts. When I first walked into this place, I was skeptical. Half because it's not much to look at, and half because that's just who I am. When I was brought back to the massage room, my therapist Mila gave me instructions to take off my clothes and leave on my underwear. The room was small but clean and serene. The first few minutes she began massaging with a sheet over me. I hoped she'd take it off and use oil, but I was still impressed with how strong and accurate she was even through the sheet. Then the sheet did get moved to my legs and she continued with the oil. This was easily one of the BEST massages I've ever had! Mila found all my sore spots (which are many) and gave just enough pressure to break up the knots, but not enough pressure to make me flinch. She asked me several times if the pressure was ok, which was also perfect. I feel so relaxed and so much less sore. I think I've finally found my new massage place! Amazing price as well!! read more

One of the best massages I've experienced! Came here as a walk-in with a friend. No waiting. $60/hr for deep tissue and tui Na (back walking). Place was small, dimly lit, quiet except for background music, and clean (incl the bathroom). Pleasant relaxing basic environment . An has magic hands, elbows, feet- just the right places and the right pressure. She used her whole body. I felt tenderized & ready for bed after it was over.
