I've had deep lower lumbar issues since a trampoline accident when I was a kid. He is the only Dr. I've been to who gets it to realign in Corvallis/Albany. There's another good one in Eugene, Dr. Casey, so I'm glad I have Dr. Sheparo so I don't have to drive the hour to get quality treatment in my home town. The great part, for me anyways, is that they generally have same day appointments if I tweak my back and need same day care. It might be with a different Chiropractor but it's better than waiting!!

One recently said "she's a wizard! Don't get the idea that once you are in ,you continue forever just because of my experience. I know a few people who have had their problems solved completely in one or two sessions. Margaret is booked months in advance and she doesn't need to keep any patients coming just for the business. If she can fix you fast, she will. The only drawback is that she is so terrific, and so many people want to see her, that getting an appointment can be difficult. However, it is worth it.

I first learned about Margaret many years ago, after suffering from a chronic lower back problem…read more My wife is an experienced PT and had tried various techniques on me with limited success. After one particularly bad episode (several days of severe pain and hardly able to move), I managed to see Margaret after another patient cancelled. I had heard positive stories about her, but was still blown away by her abilities. She is incredibly perceptive and intuitive, at a level unlike any other PT I've ever seen. After she had spent a couple of minutes lightly touching my back, I asked her if she had any idea what was going on. She said something like, "I know exactly what's going on...L4 is rotated compared to L5, putting pressure on your nerves." I had spent years thinking, "I have a bad back", without really understanding how or why. Within minutes, Margaret had given me a clear picture of exactly what was the problem. By the end of the session, she had taught me several key stretches (targeting my psoas muscle which is twisting my vertebra). One thing I really liked about Margaret is when she told on my second appointment that she didn't want to see me again. Her goal, she explained, was for me to learn the stretches so I could prevent future episodes. It has now been about 10 years since I've seen her, and I've been largely injury free. I simply cannot say enough positive about her. Thank you SO much, Margaret - you are AMAZING!

Dr. Lenhof was the nicest, most caring doctor I have ever met. He is young and quite intelligent, and made me feel like I had all the time in the world to ask my questions. I tore the tendon on the outer side of the wrist longitudinally. It was extremely painful and quite difficult to see. Dr. Lenhof persisted with several different techniques over several appointments and finally found the longitudinal tear using ultrasound. I felt like my wrist pain was his #1 priority and we both celebrated when he found it! I live far away now, but if I needed future medical treatment, Dr. Lenhof would absolutely be my go-to doctor.
