Lora was the most intuitive, respectful, and delightful massage therapist. Her fingers really know how to find all of the little areas of your body that you didn't even know had pinches and she finds a way to release them. She knows a variety of techniques including trigger point therapy, heat manipulation, and deep tissue... altogether I just left radiant, happy, relaxed and better! The quick version: Lora is the best, period. I've dealt with chronic pain and anxiety for almost 20 years now, poorly managed with a variety of medical treatments including physical therapy, massage therapy, medication and even surgery. By my count I have seen at least 15 different massage therapists for my conditions and Lora's knowledge and skills beat them all by a huge margin. Before we get to Lora herself let's get some of the technical details out of the way. Appointments are incredibly easy to make through an online portal or via e-mail/phone. An appropriate number of notices are sent for appointment confirmations and reminders. Parking is available in a private lot shared with a couple other offices, with dedicated spots for visitors. Lora's studio is, in my opinion, absolutely perfect. I love that it is an entirely private space; one bed, no other clients or therapists wandering around, competing music/sounds, etc. I've always been happy with the temperature and music but know Lora is happy to accommodate your needs. So how about Lora herself? She is a true professional, demonstrating not just a wealth of knowledge but also an exceptional awareness of/intuition of your body and its needs. This is important for any kind of massage but is critical when you're seeking help for an underlying condition. On top of having skills beyond any massage therapist I have encountered in the last 20 years, Lora is also one of the warmest, most genuine and caring souls I have ever encountered, and it shows in every aspect of the experience from start to finish. Don't hesitate to take Lora up on her offer of tea, too! Great, flavorful selection that, in tandem with a hug, is the perfect way to end your session. One last thing - Lora is the perfect person to see if you have either never tried massage or had a bad experience that put you off doing it again. Quick summary: Wonderful. Lora is an absolute professional. I arrived at her welcoming office feeling a little nervous because this was to be my first professional massage. I was worried I would feel awkward, and ticklish. Lora made me feel totally comfortable. I'm not sure what specific techniques she used, but whatever she did felt great. She used just the right amount of pressure and even pushed my limits a few times, which resulted in an even better overall experience. There was soothing music and relaxing aromas. She used some kind of hot pads to relax my back muscles before massaging it. I left feeling totally relaxed and even a little euphoric. Unprofessional and poor communication. I purchased a groupon for a massage based on all these wonderful reviews, schedule an appointment and received confirmation. I went to my scheduled appointment and she did not even show up! I contacted her by phone and email and did not hear back. Obviously I am going to be contacting Groupon to try and get a refund. I am not an expert but, I can say this is no way to run a business. Update in regards to the owners comment and explanation. I had received all of her emails when schedule and confirming, and have since received her emails now that she didn't show up to my appointment. It is quite strange that her attempts to contact me to reschedule prior were the ONLY ones that didn't come through. This was scheduled on a holiday weekend and it is very clear she decided she wanted to do something other than work but didn't care to be a professional. Trying to cover her self instead of owning that she was wrong. This is not a reliable place of business and I will never refer this to anyone. Groupon has refunded my money. read more

Lora is a great massage therapist. After a cross-country move, hours of furniture assembly, and heavy cycling, my body was in knots. I just had my first session with Lora about a week ago. The results were wonderful. I have problem with IT bands, Patella bands and shoulders. The story is that I have been very athletic and active my whole life and it has taken its toll. Lora took the time to understand the specifics of my injuries and did specific treatments including cupping and massage. I have already noticed a great difference.
