I called a couple of places but non of them could get me in until December due to my being a 'new patient'. Not the case with Total Health, they made me an appointment for the next day. I was seen by Dr. Caroline Seidel, DC and I have to say she is Fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and gentle. Best of all she's certified ART provider. They have a very modern office and are high tech. They even send your receipt to your email so you don't ever have to worry about losing it. I'll keep you update as I mend and I would highly recommend THS.

The great thing about Courtney is that she doesn't just treat symptoms; she'll work with you to find the root cause of your symptoms and give you advice and exercises to truly fix it. I've learned so much here that I honestly think I have a better handle on biomechanics than some of the conventional doctors I've seen. I also see Laura Mooney for massage and Libby Ruby for acupuncture, and I've been really happy with them, too. To top it off, this is such a great office, I actually enjoy going there. They're really nice people, and very involved in the community. As another review said, I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Where do I begin? Foothills Acupuncture and Isaac White are nothing short of a miracle. I can…read moreconfidently say that Isaac's expertise in acupuncture, coupled with his mastery of cupping, bleeding, and other techniques, has transformed my life. Before discovering Foothills Acupuncture, I struggled with debilitating back pain that no medication, physical therapy, or massage therapy could alleviate. But Isaac's precise knowledge of acupuncture points and his gentle yet effective approach have provided me with relief I never thought possible. There are times that I'm in awful pain in my back region so much so that I struggle to get up and do basic things. Being in that situation can change your life making it worse in every way and the answer most doctors will give you is opiates which I'm trying to stay away from as they are highly addictive. I am sure most of you who are reading this are looking for relief in some way shape or form and sometimes feel hopeless, I've been in those situations where I just feel "I think I'm screwed" and it can lead further down the rabbit hole into depression or not fun thoughts. After a session with Isaac White that pain goes from a 10 to a 4 and I'm serious about how that alone is a game changer when it comes to daily activities. Sometimes pain can be debilitating and having somewhere to go that can help gives a lot of hope. What truly sets Isaac apart is his dedication to empowering his patients. Not only does he provide fantastic treatment, but he also takes the time to educate and guide you on how to manage your pain independently. Learning how to perform cupping myself under his guidance has been invaluable. I have been able to reduce pain myself from the education he has shared with me. Isaac's genuine compassion and unwavering commitment to healing shine through in every interaction. His words are not just comforting; they are a beacon of hope for anyone struggling with pain. Foothills Acupuncture is more than just a clinic; it's a sanctuary of healing, and Isaac White is its compassionate guardian. I am forever grateful for the relief and empowerment he has bestowed upon me. For veterans who are in the same situation when it comes to pain and have access to community care take the leap and try out this place it's a much better alternative to pain medication or surgery.

I may require ongoing sessions (with less frequency) to maintain gains, since PD is a progressive disease. I eliminated my muscle relaxant and anti-inflammatory medicine as a result of acupuncture, and sleep longer with fewer awakenings. i recommend him and acupuncture for these aspects of PD.

Dr. Akers is a wizard. Or something…read more Not a chiropractor. To me, the word "chiropractor" has negative connotations. I picture a chiropractor burning patchouly incense, dancing around and chanting to "complete your energy." Or other somesuch nonsense. Dr. Akers is an engineer. I had a terrible crash on a BMX bicycle. For eight years after I struggled with lower back pain, and my knee giving out. I figured it was just part of the life choices I made. I figured I just had to deal with it. I saw doctors, I went to physical therapy for my knee, I went through all sorts of trouble with very little positive result. Someone talked to me into seeing Dr. Akers. Five minutes into the session, he asked me "Did you know your pelvis was dislocated?" All those medical doctors didn't catch it, all those scans, all those issues. My right pelvic bone was down 1/16th of an inch. That tweaked out my lower back- hence the back pain. It also put more stress on my right knee-hence the knee problems. He put my pelvis back into place, and five years later, my body seems like it has healed to a better point than I ever imagined. Dr. Akers is an engineer. He views the body as a mechanical mechanism. Every part of that mechanism must be healthy and doing its job, or everything suffers. Dr Akers does a great job of telling you what he is finding while he's working on you. I am always fascinated what he finds with me. Now that I am just on a maintenance schedule, and not on the repair schedule, he finds problems early on, and fixes problems while they're small. I think that even more relevant is the story of my mom's friend. She was in a terrible car wreck, and she lived with the pain for years afterwards. But she started seeing Dr Akers, within a few months-her body felt better than she ever thought it would. It took a lot more sessions with her at first because she was so badly damaged, but now I think she is also just seeing Dr Akers for maintenance. He has fixed everything else. And one of the best things about Dr Akers-his inquisitive mind. He is constantly looking for new science, new research that he can use in his practice. If you have pain that you have accepted as normal, or if you just want to make sure that your body is in a good place-go to Dr Akers. It is not an exaggeration to say that he changes lives for the better.

Dr. Kyle is an incredible chiropractor! I have been seeing chiropractors since I was 6 years old…read more(27 years) and he is by far the best one that I have seen! I see him for adjustments and NAET allergy treatments. I have scoliosis and no other chiropractor has ever been able to get the pain in my hips to go away, but he was able to adjust me to get it to go away and it has continued to feel amazing for a year and a half with only monthly adjustments. He muscle tests your body before adjusting each part of your body so he asks your body what it needs vs just doing the typical adjustment sequence most chiropractors do. He will concentrate on an area until your body is doing well before moving on during the appointment to another part. I cannot recommend him enough! If you have lost faith in chiropractors being able to help you or are afraid to try one don't give up until you have tried Dr. Kyle he will be able to help you! I think he also takes Medicare which is also a bonus for anyone on Medicare.
