John the instructor was very approachable and welcomed me and introduced all the class members. We had about 6 students in our hour long class. The class is very slow and meditative, Tai Chi focuses on the internal spirit of Qi "energy". This is not an Martial Arts class, it's more about balancing the body and mind. Couple students said they come to Tai Chi to help with arthritis, which supports my belief that energy movement jumpstarts our lymphatic system and promotes blood flow. This studio is a multi use space offering yoga, meditation, and even BJJ Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The office also offers acupuncture. PranaTonic is a great find right in the heart of downtown Golden.
