I see him for a monthly tune-up. He's been a major asset to helping me heal from PTSD, depression and anxiety while using Qigong and acupressure healing modalities. Mark is a gentle, kind, and a safe person to be around. He has taught me that not all men are bad and that there are good ones in the world. He is full of love and light and I'm grateful I crossed paths with him and that he still is a part of my healing journey. Each session, I am left feeling light and filled with love.

An isolated time for you to center yourself and come out refreshed…read more Located at a local residence, the owner is very friendly and explains everything before your first time in a sensory deprivation float tank. A list of detailed instructions is sent to you before your first float. The tank water is warm, so you don't notice it as your floating; it was a bit humid feeling at first which took some taking used to but after that it was extremely relaxing floating in the tank and having time to meditate. I imagine if you haven't meditated before, it may be more difficult to enjoy the experience, so I'd recommend doing some practice meditations before.

I finally start, get in and immediately begin burning severely, my skin. 3 minutes later I get out call her and say I'm so sorry but this is not working out for me, I get out shower off extremely fast and come out, my skin was RED and an immediate rash started, I try to dry off and it was literally like drying off with linen, you couldn't dry off if you tried, she sits there and explains she cannot just not charge me, she could do my float for 45$ and then refund me my 95$ in a couple weeks if I wanted to try again. I said okay I'll be in touch, so I message her and say my rash has not gotten better and theirs no way I'm getting back in that tub, so she said well I can't refund you, you used my towels and up an 1h 1/2 of my time, (I literally took up maybe 7 minutes total of her time of my appointment) the rest was her blabbing about her life. Which fine but extremely unprofessional, then she goes back on everything she said to me. That's where I'm upset. Don't say something and change your mind a few weeks later. When you asked me to text you an update then, and I do. Now she says well my house is out of order anyway for 4 months. The whole thing is scammy, and I would never recommend this place. Her dog barked the entire time, nothing about this place is calming or nervous system. I don't leave reviews unless something is super bad, I would never recommend this place.

The owner, Karen, is truly special; you can feel her passion for whole-body wellness the moment you walk in. This place isn't just yoga (though they do offer yoga, Reiki, and Ayurvedic practices), it's a full wellness experience. I joined the Friday Flow Ride today, which was a guided mountain bike ride--12 miles that somehow flew by thanks to great conversation, a perfect trail, beautiful sunshine, and all the equipment provided. Exactly what my body and soul needed. What really sets Santosha apart is its versatility: everything from yoga and aerial fitness (with bungee coming soon!) to aerial sound baths, plus it functions as a collaborative, communal space where health and wellness practitioners can host their own classes and events without being employees. If you're a practitioner looking for space--or someone looking for something truly unique--this is it. Such a much-needed, thoughtfully curated wellness hub for the east side. *bike rentals available here for the adjacent trail **
