I signed up for unlimited two weeks of classes for $20, a deal even for this typically affordable town. The staff was friendly and answered all of my questions. If you are new to hot yoga it seemed like they were ready to go into a bit of an introduction, but since I shared that I have a lot of experience they quickly moved on and had me on my way. My favorite part was at the end of the class when we were all given cold towels with peppermint essentials oils; I laid mine on my face during shavasana and then wiped down my face, neck, and arms for a refreshing drive home. Decided to do the instructor training after 3months of starting yoga b/c I had been enjoying so much and wanted to learn more. Then another student was very aggressive and I felt like there was a possibility where she was going to ?? .. I was walking away and 2x she repeated "don't walk away from me" bc I did not like the noise of the air purifier fan (need to maintain/clean I never saw anything that documented it was cleaned) and it was very loud causing my migraines to rebound-disability from TBI. Other students in regular yoga classes had turned off the fan so I know it was not just me that was bothered by the noise. I canceled instructor training bc I was concerned about the other student and if she was going to continue to be aggressive/dangerous. Might have been able to manage her aggression but the noise from not maintained air purifier causing worse headaches if I had to be there for 8 hour could not do. No help from the yoga studio staff- had meeting but the student and her representative person were on chairs. I walked in and no other chairs available so I sat on floor. Owner of studio (supposed to be my representative for meeting) went and found herself a chair, (funny) did not offer me one so I was the only one on the floor for a meeting where a co-student had been aggressive against me. Weird the person that had been attacked is on the floor with 3 other people above them---- go figure then I get charged $300 b/c you failed me. If anyone actualy reads this do not go to this yoga studio; my opion they have no care for who you are. Guess nothing else needs to be said. They never mentioned on-line (which another student was doing) or keeping the aggressive student away. DO NOT DO INSTRUCTOR TRAINING Lost $300 and YOGA b/c this place was horrible

Overall it's not going to be on my top10 places to yoga out here but I may be back for another class one day it's not terrible, just doesn't come close to some of the yoga experiences I've had in town. PROS ; Heated classes Affordable $9 drop in Mirrors Ambient dark lighting Friendly instructors Mats available to borrow no charge Cute location I actually learned a couple new posture terms! CONS ; both classes were so slowwwww (should be labeled as slow flow not vinyasa ) I like it hotter & faster for vinyasa Parking - sucks Music was so low for both classes I could barely hear it , turn it up ! Instructors teach facing you so you have a hard time following when you start twisting and all the things , I prefer instructors who teach facing the mirror the same direction as students . ROACHES - yep borrowed a studio mat and a fricken roach fell out... not a great first impression. Took a minute to shake that off ewww. Animas as a facility is the perfect setting for intimate yet high-quality yoga, dance, or pliates. Karen plays large Crystal bowls....and that sound vibration you can FEEL in your body. The first time I went I was really sick...and I fell asleep as she was playing (yes it is THAT soothing)...and today I stayed awake, and felt all the tension and stress leave my body. It is inexpensive (20 dollars for an hour) and you begin by meditating as a group for 15 minutes or so...and then Karen softly transitions to her playing the crystal bowls. I can't describe with words how the sound soothes the soul....but it does. I will be back, because I leave the session...relaxed. Its amazing...
