I actually work here. But before I worked here I worked for another company that used them to send employees to safety trainings, physicals, and dug test. The guys would hate to come here and complained about it taking forever, or it being cold. Most people coming here are coming for either a drug test, physical, or to take some safety training required for the plant they are needing access. The developers try to make the courses entertaining but there is only so much you can do to make being safe sound fun. Everywhere in fact is cold so defiantly bring a jacket but it beats being out in the Texas heat working. You are able to bring snacks and drinks to courses as well. We are required to take several of the courses as employees and they aren't that bad. The drug testing takes a bit if you are a walk in so I suggest making an appointment or just be here first thing in the morning before everyone else that is coming for the same thing. I really love working here. It like a family. My coworkers are great, the higher ups are always understanding, and the employee engagement is great. They are always doing things like lunches or family events on the weekend, or just sending treats to our break rooms to let the employees know they are valued. Too many people take for granted their guardian angels are going to watch over them and throw caution to the wind. If you are going to go to do any type of work whether it be the ship channel, industrial refineries etc then most likely along with your T.W.I.C you will be sent here to get your Safety Council Card. This card will verify that you have been through various modules of training that your future employer or even current will send you to freshen up on your awareness for the first thing that should be in place in any potential dangerous employment, safety. I believe this office opens up at 7:00 a.m. but something in my head sub consciencely tells me that I speed read that it opens at 6:00 a.m., think 7:00 to be safe or you can call them the day before and ask them. Parking seemed pretty ample, this visit was at 8:00 a.m. There are also two security guards at the entrance for some reason, they did not stop me to ask for i.d. to enter but at least you can feel relieved that your car is not prone to get broken into here. Once you step inside you will notice a semi large lobby with about 10 teller windows like a bank where you step up to give them your i.d. card (Oh, did I tell you that you will obviously need to bring your i.d. card?) to verify your appointment and would probably be to your advantage to bring your social security card. After this process you will be directed to the room where you go to review the lessons and take your exams. If you go to the room on your right you will be ushered in by a couple of young ladies that will take you to a computer, verify your i.d. and let you begin your review and test. If you do not like the cold, make sure you bring a long sleeve shirt or a light jacket because THE A/C WORKS VERY VERY GOOD here......too good for this individual that thrives better in the cold climate. After a couple of hours when you are finished with your modules and you pass the test you will be directed back to the lobby where you will wait in line to go back to the window so they can take your picture for your badge and send you on your merry way. The tests are not very hard, the only hard thing is trying not to doze off. If you have ever taken a defensive driving test before it is kind of easy like that. If you are paying attention at all you should pass easily. There are some trick questions but there are just as equal if not more real common sense questions as well. Parking is free. Expect to spend anywhere from 4 to 6 hours average here, eat a good breakfast before coming in. read more

Went in for a few classes. Went into room 1 and the a/c was blasting so hard I was freezing the entire time I was in there. Felt like I got a cold from sitting in that room for about 6 hours. All of the so called "proctors" are all very young girls that talk very loudly with each other in groups and laugh loudly while they walk around the testing room. This caused a distraction for a lot of the people there who were trying to complete their training. I wish they would make it a more friendly, quiet, room temperature, testing facility. read more

This is the worst experience I ever had . I went to take a Covid test I walked in and don't know what to do I walk to the lady at the desk and she's completely ignoring me till I finally decide to grab a clip board to fill out my information and she goes "ooo no you need to have me check you in first " when getting checked in she's very rude and fails to show proper manners and good customer service I understand you may hate your job but if you're simply not happy of what you do then maybe it's time to look for a new one when she asked me if it was self pay or company pay I told her I had insurance and she answered very irate and said "WE DONT TAKE INSURANCE!" Which I later found out wasn't true bc I had another person I knew go to this exact location and they tell me they did take insurance I definitely won't be coming here again here's also a picture of reference of the rude sorry excuse of the front lady attendant as well read more
