The pain continued, and when the tooth cracked in half, I was effectively denied care in what felt like an urgent situation until payment was made first. What may have been manageable with timely intervention ultimately progressed to needing an implant--leaving me with a far bigger and far more expensive problem to solve. The office manager was defensive and seemed more focused on protecting the practice than facilitating care or addressing a legitimate concern. Combined with the dentist's aloof response and delays in forwarding my records, this completely eroded my trust. Deeply disappointing experience.

I couldn't afford the oral surgeon fee at another place he recommended, I thought I could have him do the extraction, conscious. Well that didn't work as he couldn't get the area numbed enough to proceed, plus I started shaking like a Chihuahua and couldn't stop. But he was very patient with me through it all and said I would have to go to oral surgeon as he had tried to numb area as much as he could. A few hours later the oral surgeon's office called and I asked for price of the one tooth extracted, with consultation and procedure she quoted around $1300. So, I'll have to try and find a cheaper OS will just have to put up with broken tooth until I do. If I were younger or in better health I would prolly go to Mexico as I did that 40 yrs ago for a crown.

Today was one of the worst dental experiences I have ever had hands down. He seemed annoyed that I hadn't regularly visited him but this dentist is a cosmetic dentist. I see a general dentist regularly for cleanings but have had zero work done regarding filling and etc.... Dr. Connally had an incredibly negative attitude, he had zero patience, he did his work very hastily and I have never felt so much discomfort for a bonding procedure in my life. My tooth doesn't match the other one and I was in tears when he was sanding down an edge because he continuously was hitting my gums. He had zero disregard for my comfort and talked down to me like I was a cry baby, even though I was bleeding heavily. I was looking for a professional today but got a temperamental man with a drill.
