Screaming, belittling, acting superior -- like she was running a boot camp, not a dental office. If Midland Dental thinks this is acceptable behavior from their team, it makes you wonder what else they sweep under the rug. Honestly, if this is what's happening in front of a camera, I don't want to imagine what happens when no one's recording. Youu need new management, new training, and a whole new standard of professionalism. Avoid unless you like your checkups with a side of chaos.

Some of the things I look at when choosing a Dentist include: new dental technologies, experience of the dental team and a clean and modern facility. I definitely made the right choice! Newest dental technologies are important to me because it means the dental team has the latest and greatest equipment to care for their patients. One piece of technology I especially look for is the availability of SAME DAY Dentistry (usually used when talking about crowns). Typically, getting a crown takes messy impressions and then WEEKS of waiting while the lab creates the crown. With same day dentistry, the Dentist will scan your tooth and the crown is made THAT DAY, IN OFFICE and places it before you leave saving TONS of wait time. I'm familiar with the CEREC system but I believe Dr. Bell mentions a E4D but it appears to be similar. Other technology that I noticed at this office include an easier/quicker digital Xray system, intraoral cameras, etc. You can always have a wonderful staff but if their equipment is from 1960, that concerns me. So once I know the technology appears to be "up to my standards" I look at the staff. Luckily, Dr. Bell and his staff are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Dr. Bell has excellent bedside manner. He's extremely knowledgeable and thorough. A new Dentist has joined the team, her name is Dr. Mohn and she is great as well! I've had the pleasure of having Courtney and Monica as my dental hygienists and they're both AMAZING. They were equally awesome with our daughter's FIRST DENTAL VISITS (which can sometimes be traumatic for kids)!!! I LOVE that there was no need for us to go to a specialized pediatric dentist! To round off our amazing experience here, Health Centered Dentistry has a beautiful, clean and modern office. The waiting room is gorgeous and comfortable! The team appears to follow all guidelines keeping their patients safe and healthy! I highly recommend Health Centered Dentistry!

I had an infection between my back molar and an implant. The (I was told) only way to get to it was…read moreto pull the molar. The extraction was done and a bone graft was done in that area with an active infection. At that point, Dr. Galloway said goodbye. I went by the pharmacy in Odessa to have a prescription filled for mild pain - nothing for infection. While waiting in the drive through lane I realized the prescription given to me was for a different patient. I drove through and headed home. By that time I was freezing and shaking uncontrollably. I am an elderly widow and live alone. About 3 hours later my son came (he lives in Weatherford and had a business appointment the next morning) and found me on the floor unable to get up or to use phone. He called 911 and I was taken to the hospital. The diagnosis was severe sepsis. I was in the hospital for 5 days and on IV antibiotics for most of that time. None of that would have happened if the infection had of been handled appropriately. I am alive only because my son had an appointment the next morning in Odessa and was going to spend the night at my home.

I told her three times that the veneer felt uneven and was hitting my other tooth. On the third time, instead of adjusting the veneer, she sanded down my actual tooth. After that, it became uneven, sensitive, and just didn't look right. When I got home, I realized the veneer didn't match my other teeth at all--it looked yellow and stuck out from the side. To make things worse, the temporary tooth they gave me looked better than the permanent one I paid $800 for. I called the office right away, but they told me there was nothing they could do since I had already left. As a college student who pays for everything out of pocket, I'm honestly upset and hurt. I worked hard to afford this, and it feels like I wasted my money. I would not recommend this place for anyone looking for quality cosmetic dental work

I was quoted around $200 out of pocket and later billed $805. After a large filling replacement, I reported pain within days and was told it was just gum trauma. The pain continued, and when the tooth cracked in half, I was effectively denied care in what felt like an urgent situation until payment was made first. What may have been manageable with timely intervention ultimately progressed to needing an implant--leaving me with a far bigger and far more expensive problem to solve. The office manager was defensive and seemed more focused on protecting the practice than facilitating care or addressing a legitimate concern. Combined with the dentist's aloof response and delays in forwarding my records, this completely eroded my trust. Deeply disappointing experience.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Huckabay for dental care for over 15 years…read more Dr. Huckabay has performed more than 5 root canals for me over the years. All of my root canals were pretty painless because of Dr. Huckabay's expertise at performing the root canals. He also made the crowns for each tooth which had the root canals. I have one crown about 10 years old and it is still almost as good as the day Dr. Huckabay put it in. I hope Dr. Huckabay never retires. He is a true gem among dentists in his profession and my whole family appreciates his dedication to his craft. Dr. Huckabay is also a nice person and the staff in his office are always helpful and really courteous. Going to the dentist is never fun, but with a dentist like Dr. Huckabay, he makes a trip to the dentist a lot less painful.

Rather that go for the broken tooth having a root canal and crown done, I opted for an extraction and later get a partial denture for one tooth. I couldn't afford the oral surgeon fee at another place he recommended, I thought I could have him do the extraction, conscious. Well that didn't work as he couldn't get the area numbed enough to proceed, plus I started shaking like a Chihuahua and couldn't stop. But he was very patient with me through it all and said I would have to go to oral surgeon as he had tried to numb area as much as he could. A few hours later the oral surgeon's office called and I asked for price of the one tooth extracted, with consultation and procedure she quoted around $1300. So, I'll have to try and find a cheaper OS will just have to put up with broken tooth until I do. If I were younger or in better health I would prolly go to Mexico as I did that 40 yrs ago for a crown.
