I will admit that I have lost some weight, but NO more and NO faster than I would have just eating less calories and for over a grand in costs in this short amount of time. I have been losing about a pound a week, which is normal weight loss. I plateau often, and my doctor has said their program is no good for a female body. I finally made the decision to leave, and let me explain why. I have been forced to purchase SO MANY supplements. They have it in their sign up that you cannot be in their program without taking at LEAST two protein drinks a day, while the drinks cost eleven to fourteen dollars for a box of seven. Then they made me drink at least three a day, and then we moved up to four and then back to three when they put me on a different menu after I plateaued for a number of weeks. They also make you pay 400-500 dollars for just the four months of weigh ins and consultations. Ok, so the staff needs paid I am good with that, but guess what? The weigh ins consist of a ten minute sit down where they ask about if you are still weighing your food or if you drink enough water. I told them from the beginning I exclusively drink water and make an effort to always be hydrated, but they still ask EVERY time. All I heard was BUY MORE supplements while I lost much more slowly then I was lead to believe I would for a far greater price. I was told we could do program for about 200-250 a month after the initial fee max. I was recently making up a cart to restock after they missed things in my last order and it would cost me 480 dollars. They say they will stay with you for a year if you do not lose the weight promised in four months time, yet they will still expect you to pay for these supplements. They do not care to keep track of your progress or goals beyond a couple numbers. I have a chronic pain disorder I have only recently discovered and made me really decide to lose the 50 pounds to get back to a healthy weight. They did not write down when I started a new prescription, though I told my coach in weigh ins twice, and a month later I mentioned off hand and she acted like it was new news. I weighed 176 when I plateaued, and then had a pain flare which increased my weight some pounds with water for two weeks, so when I lost that and went back to 176 they congratulated me like it was NEW. I keep a food journal they provided me, which they have only looked at in two of my weigh ins. I have tracked my weight loss and rises better than they ever did. Be ready to hear it must always be your fault if you do not lose 3-5 pounds a week while following program. They even blamed my pain disorder a couple of times saying it must be water weight that lasted for over a MONTH. I let them know if I ever strayed from menu even the tiniest bit. I had ONE chicken nugget once, and they told me for the next four weeks that was why I would not lose weight, even though I stuck to program beyond that for all those weeks following. No matter how much I tried that whole time ( I accounted for the calories in that one nugget when I had a bad day and compensated) they wanted to find a reason to blame me and refused to accept the supplements are not what they make them out to be. Guess what else? I have found supplements that use the same ingredients for a quarter of the price online. They mark up and hype up these miracle drugs like every other weight loss scam artist does. There were so many mishaps and mistakes between the few people I saw and spoke to that consulted me. I constantly found myself correcting or holding my tongue because I was just fatigued with trying to speak with them in general. It is the same thing every week. If you are doing all as instructed all they do is shrug and say you will lose it all soon then for sure, just keep buying the products. I will be continuing my weight loss journey with my doctor in a healthier and less pricey manner.
