I was recently admitted to Melbourne Hospital via the emergency room on 6/13/26 thru 6/19/26. The nurses, CNAs/techs, mid level providers and physician were all excellent, caring, attentive & compassionate. Everyone was extremely patient despite my numerous questions & concerns. I'd like to recognize everyone that took care of me and apologize if I've left anyone off of this list. Thank you to the following staff for your kind, attentive care during a very stressful time for me: *** Kal RN, *** Lauren (LJ) RN, *** Yaneisy (YR) RN, *** Ingris (IM) RN, *** Danielle (DL) RN, *** Snrha (SJ) RN-Nurse Leader, *** Patience (PP) RN, *** Samantha (SK) RN, *** Lauren (LT) RN *** Gina (GG) RN *** Mia (MT) CNA, *** Andrea (AP) Tech, *** Tara (TB) CNA, *** Britt (BW) Tech, *** Andrea (AP) Tech *** Ashley (AO) Care Manager, *** Brandon (BC) Care Manager *** Pharmacist that helped me resolve medication questions on my day of discharge. I forgot her name but not her help & patience. Also to all the Dr's & Nurse Practitioners that took care of me. I cannot sing y'alls praises enough and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your care & attention. I'm planning to return (hopefully) sooner than later to get my cardiac ablation!

Shameful behavior, retrain her, or put her somewhere away from the patients coming in the front!

Past breast cancer survivors and women with dense breasts beware! This facility is all about the…read moremoney! I scheduled at this center based on 5 star reviews which the lovely mammography tech deserves, HOWEVER it was a complete disappointment and waste of my time and now money otherwise. Let me explain. First of all, I NEVER schedule a medical appointment before checking that the facility takes my insurance which the staff at this facility lied to me and assured me they did (I called and asked three times because I always worry about ending up paying out of network fees). This is why we pay for insurance. One of the worse experiences is waking up to a $382 bill for a standard annual mammography for which the results are useless to me. Secondly, being a two time cancer survivor and having dense breast tissue (which many of us have) I was very detailed and adamant about the fact that I needed and always required a same day ultrasound based on past mammography findings. That or I needed the radiologist to be able to review my films in order to do further imaging AT THE TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT if necessary. Again I was assured one or the other would be available to me and on the day neither was the case. In other words, what is the use of a $382 mammogram if in the end you have inconclusive results. All facilities I visited in the past provided me this service and I will return to one of those in the future having learned a difficult lesson at this facility. Again after having to battle cancer twice there is nothing worse than being told you have something to sit and worry about until you can schedule another appointment. I live out of the country part time (and with how difficult it is to schedule medical appointments in Florida these days) this means me sitting and waiting for a month to find out if I have cancer again. UNACCEPTABLE! I wrote to the office manager about my concerns, Angel DeHart on June 19, 2023 and never received a reply. Again UNACCEPTABLE! My ex husband was a breast cancer surgeon in town and I helped certify and manage his breast cancer center to include mammography and ultrasound and NEVER would I have ignored a patient's request for help. Especially one with a breast cancer history. I now feel I was tricked into coming in for a non covered procedure at an unreasonable cost that has left me in fear with zero clarity. My first instinct is to not pay, however being that the owners obviously care more about making money than providing a service, I have no doubt I would find myself in collections in no time! This would ruin my 800 credit score which I worked very hard to establish after slugging through so many past medical bills. Does this sound familiar to any of you??????
