The location was easy to find, they were very pleasant at the door greeting me and I have a few extra things done that I thought was cool during the triage before the visit. I got a BMI (body mass index) and they checked my heart. It was a good feeling to see the results and the proactive approach to my heart health as well as my overall body management. Every visit there has been chaos, from not knowing my medication history to over medicating to wait times up to an hour.

I have not had the best experience here. Care is unorganized and there is no follow up with lab results.

I have mixed feelings about this place. If you want a good esthetician, I recommend going here! A bit pricey, but worth it. Dr. Rivera is very professional and kind. She saw me last minute when I didn't have a primary care physician. As far as a gynecologist goes, I would recommend somewhere else. They make appointments for first thing in the morning. 8AM, but don't show up to open until 8 and the workers don't show up until already 10 after. First off, I have been to many bad physicians in this city; After a very comprehensive review of my symptoms Dr. Komadina sent me off for labs suspecting hormone imbalances which have greatly been improved as well as improved T3 and T4 and TSH levels after suggesting I start on thyroid (nature, not avail in this city- Farma Keio compounding in TX) He suggested the troche, which I can tolerate and has diminished my hot flashes. I am now maintaining my muscle mass and energy levels, as well as weight loss. I am finally feeling like myself again without antidepressants from periomenopause. I had a great first visit here in late 2014. In early 2015 I wasn't thrilled (he started asking me about thyroid meds I was on - I'm on any thyroid meds - and then snapped shut his file, I guess it was the wrong one). But it was OK, at least I'd probably only need to go once a year. Then came the kicker. In mid 2015, I had a question about the Plan B pill. I figured an OB-GYN would be the place to ask. I called and had to leave a message for the doctor. That's fine. However, when he called back and left a voicemail, he essentially said in a very curt, brusque manner: "I know nothing about the Plan B pill. I can't help you. I do not perform abortions." WOAH WOAH WOAH. Plan B has nothing to do with abortions, and he, as a doctor, should know this. I had a medical question about my reproductive system and he was essentially refusing to answer it. And I would hope that a proactive doctor would be open to LEARNING ABOUT or RESEARCHING things his patients ask about. Apparently not. I went in for a scheduled appointment for micro dermabrasion! Upon entering the office neither receptionist "persons behind the desk greeted me with a hello or eye contact". Never was acknowledged in anyway!!! Talk about being ignored, it was very unprofessional. I signed my name on a tablet and took a seat. Nearly 25 minutes later I was called in for my appointment in which they were late. I did enjoy the treatment and that was about it. The individual that did my Microderm was very nice! As I was leaving, again no contact from either receptionist not a goodbye, thank you or anything. I stalled a bit placing my hand bag on the counter grabbing a few things out to see if I would be at knowledged in anyway! It is apparent they all have a very terrible attitudes. I'm failing to understand why this physician keeps trying to pass himself off as an endocrinologist. Every single friend and family member I know who has visited him has been diagnosed with a thyroid disorder despite lab values within the normal range. I was shocked that this doctor took my lab values from Tricore and compared them to reference ranges from Quest diagnostics. As a former lab professional there are a million reasons why this is NOT OKAY. Different labs use different testing methods and different instrumentation for tests with the same name. Reference ranges are only reflective of that lab on its own instrument. The fact he's diagnosing people with this method is very suspicious. The medical community is becoming aware that this doctor is not using standard practices to diagnose his patients. As soon as he diagnosed me with a thyroid problem he was pushing "prescriptions" on me. How lucky was it that I could buy some of them at his front desk and he had samples of the others. Also there seems to be little regulation associated with the medications he prescribes- they almost seem like supplements rather than true prescriptions. Take that into account on top of all the other advertising he has in his office it seems like he's diagnosing thyroid conditions to line his pockets. I am sorry- if he has helped you then great, but something here seems very unethical. read more

Thank goodness for Dr. Komadina and his staff: After dealing with "mysterious" health issues that left me unable to get out of bed on occasion due to chronic fatigue,....... and after many frustrating doctor visits ending in comments like..... "well you just aren't 20 anymore", a fellow co-worker recommended that I schedule an appointment with Dr. Komadina. (I smiled because Dr. Komadina was my OB-GYN during the time my children where born). In just a single visit, Dr. Komadina recognized my symptoms and scheduled further testing for hormone levels, thyroid function, etc. The diagnose wash Hashimoto's Disease or chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis (hypothyroidism). This is a complex disease which can result in a multitude of symptoms when left untreated. Dr. Komadina worked with me over a period of months, monitoring my hormone levels and adjusting my medication until my levels stabilized. I went to one appointment about 2 or 3 yrs., ago and Komadina started in with some expensive stuff for Menopause. I decided to try my hand on a healthier way which is Essential Oils and they worked so much better then what he was selling. Komadina, in my opinion, only cares about the cash because he was trying to convince me that Essential oils are not better then what he was suggesting (Selling). Now, after all this time, I'm getting messages saying I have an appointment with them. I never made an appointment nor have I had any contact with them up until that point. I left a less then favorable review and now I get a call from their office. I didn't let the receptionist speak as I hung up on her and blocked the number.
