I saw Haleigh M. for almost two years, and I've learned so much! I call her my food therapist because she didn't just address my nutritional concerns, but she helped me work through the emotions I've attached to eating. The Health Loft platform is a little glitchy, I have trouble paying through my phone, but everything works fine on a browser. I really liked using the app to track my meals. They don't count calories, you just upload a photo of your food and rate how you feel before and after it. read more

My dietician was amazing - I really loved her. My issue was with billing. If you have an issue (pray you never do) you will have to work with an overseas third party biller that will not communicate with you about issues they're having until you've been charged $650 for weeks of appointments that have not been paid by your insurance due to an improper billing code and you reach out to them in a panic. You will then have to call your insurer, resolve the issue for them, download all of your EOB, dispute missing invoices from the biller, get on multiple phone calls, and email threads and spend hours getting their billing issues resolved for them so that you can be refunded. You will also not want to see said dietician that you loved so much anymore because the billing experience was so awful. read more

I have been working with Catherine Hart at Healthloft for several weeks. Catherine is highly empathic and really "gets it" when it comes to my health and emotional needs regarding food. She is also extremely knowledgeable about food and health in general. Despite the fact that I have had trouble enjoying healthy foods all my life, together we are working out a viable plan that really works for me. I'm even beginning to enjoy it. Each week we make modifications and additions, and a complete plan is unfolding, bit by bit. I feel very confident working with her and plan to continue with her for the longterm. do NOT use health loft. i went through a whole process of signing up, giving them all my information including insurance card etc. After receiving the "good news we accept your insurance" message, i signed up for my first consultation. The dietitian was great and i scheduled a follow up. The next day i received email saying "ouuuups" we just found out your insurance does not pay for a health loft visit, but i can continue as an out of pocket patient. I immediately cancelled the follow up visit, as this is out of my budget. About two weeks later i got hit with a $156 bill for the first visit. I am still fighting to get my money back, as i never agreed to being a private patient. total scam! read more

First let me say that the nutritionist that I was set up with was amazing, very nice and helpful... I have no issues with her whatsoever... However, when it comes to clearing with the insurance company, billing, and collection, this company is extremely aggressive and not very customer friendly... They originally said they had checked to make sure that I was covered in my insurance to be able to use this service, after which I had five sessions... After the 5th session they came back to me and told me that oops you're not covered and you need to pay these bills at 156 bucks apiece... Fine, I understand mistakes, but here is where it gets terrible... Starting at the end of May, they started reaching out into my bank account and just withdrawing the payments for the five sessions every 2 to 3 days... Now I don't know about most folks, but I can tell you that in this day and age I don't have 156 bucks every 2 to 3 days for five shots for them to just go in and grab... I did reach out to the company through the one method that I could find online, by email... However, they never responded to my email, they just continued to take money out of my account without any prior notice... Be very careful dealing with this company! And double check your insurance yourself! read more

I had a great experience. I was surprised out how much I could eat and still lose weight. Jenna Brown is brilliant and fun to work with!

Our nutritionist was kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the billing department puts no effort into working with your insurance. You will get no notification that your appointment wasn't covered until you're billed for $137 per appointment. In the span of 2 days, we recieved three bills for $137 each for appointments that had happened weeks before. Two days after the bills hit our account, the card on file was automatically charged for the bills-- with no warning. When we contacted the billing department, they gave us a list of the codes they sent to our insurance and told us to figure it out ourselves. We thought this was going to be a wonderful program to help us get our lives together. Instead, we now have credit card debt. While the nutritionists might care about the people they are talking to, this company is just another money-hungry business preying on people who come to them for help. read more

Dishonest company as verified by others here. I was assured that this would be covered by my insurance and now I've been charged over $500 for two appointments, one from weeks ago. They rush to schedule you without verifying your insurance. At least be upfront about your charges - $272 per hour is theft. I made it clear to the therapist that cost was a consideration and I was told that I'd know within a week if it had been covered or I'd be billed. She has helped me develop a better relationship with food so i could stop dieting and just make better day to day choices. It was my Midwife/ NP that suggested that I reach out to Health Loft as I was having some mid-life/ menopause issues with diet and weight gain. I was connected with Kerri Holmquist and after going through my initial consult, I was relieved that she had so many ideas and notes for me. Turns out that the diet that I had previously adopted wasn't working for me anymore NOR was my workout regimen. Through many conversations and keeping a food journal, we found a food program that would work AND added some additional workout pieces. Final result - I lost more than 30lbs of menopause weight that I had gained. Kerri was so patient and also helped me to think out of the box. It was helpful to have her support and know that nothing was "off limits". I initiated a consult with the goal of having someone tell me my exact calorie count and macro goals should be for weight loss. Turns out, I didn't understand what a Dietician actually does and I'm so grateful for that mistake! I've been working with Alicia for a few months, healing my relationship with food. Through the tools she's helped me learn, I've gotten to a point where I am able to look at all foods as fuel and start to enjoy daily life again. What I appreciate even more is the tools/concepts I've been learning with her have spilled over into my professional life, enabling me to be a more empathetic leader. It's an ongoing process to redefine my relationship with food and nutrition, but Alicia approaches each session with kindness, curiosity, and most importantly (for me) realistic goals that motivate me to keep achieving them. I can't say I have a ton of experience with PT's but I can speak to the fact that James had a great conversation with me about what I wanted to accomplish with my therapy, helped me understand the steps we needed to take to get there, and after just a few weeks I have seen considerable improvement with the back pain I came in with. It's important for me to be mobile and healthy for my toddler and he has greatly improved my ability to run around with him. Definitely would recommend. read more

I've been seeing James for my CRPS (Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome) periodically for the last three years and I have been so fortunate to find him! First off, it is incredibly difficult to find a physical therapist that has experience treating chronic pain and especially CRPS. I was fortunate to begin my treatment three years ago with him when I was first diagnosed by chance. He is knowledgeable about my specific condition, what treatments to use (like desensitization techniques, mirror therapy, and graded motor imagery, to name a few), professional, and most importantly has always been supportive of me and an empathetic listener during my journey. When he moved to a clinic outside of the area that I couldn't commute to due to my condition, I ended up seeing a few different therapists at some of the "big box chains". What a difference in how one is treated (and not for the better). The therapists there barely understood my condition. When they would work with me, they would do manual therapy to my legs so intensely that I wanted to literally scream. They would also barely work with you before passing you off to someone who hardly knew what they were doing which is how I ended up hurting my shoulder. I reached out to James after that injury and fortunately for me, he had just opened his own clinic right by my office and I was able to go back under his care. His sessions are always one to one with me, and he tailors each session based on how I'm feeling but pushes me just enough to make progress. My exercises are tailored to allow me to be active, despite my DRG implant stimulator which limits my mobility. Most importantly, I've always felt like I've been treated as an individual with him and not another number. I would highly recommend James and his clinic if you have chronic pain, CRPS, or any other injury - even if you didn't have success with physical therapy before, his approach is so much different than many of the other physical therapists that it's worth another chance just to try and be pain-free. read more

I worked with Morgan for a nutrition consultation over the course of three weeks. Specifically I wanted advice on how to deal with hunger and how to eat more filling foods. I wanted a nutritionist who specialized in eating disorders, so when Haleigh said that she had had experience with eating disorders I thought that was good enough. I was honestly a little put off from the very first session because she didn't seem very professional. I had several more sessions with her. It became obvious that she wasn't tailoring her information to suit my eating disorder recovery needs in an informed way and unfortunately I continued to be uncomfortable with her casual way of talking and presenting me with information. I have since found a nutritionist outside of Health Loft who is specialized in eating disorders and the difference between Haleigh's level of ED expertise and professionalism and my new nutritionist's is night and day. Maybe it was my fault for assuming 'experience with eating disorders' meant the same as 'specialized'. If you have an eating disorder, I recommend you do your research and choose very carefully. read more

James, my physical therapist, was absolutely amazing. I've done physical therapy before, but I've never had someone so competent put the time and effort into making sure that I really healed. James explained the science behind a lot of what he was doing, so I understood which exercises were the most important depending on the pain I had in a given day. When something was too hard or too boring to do, he cane up with new and different exercises to do! There was no scolding that I had to do what I was told, it was always just a question of how we can do it better and keep me motivated! Of course, physical therapy isn't just about exercise. James has an amazing ability to do the manipulations and massage stuff that physical therapists do. He helped me lose weight and even took the time to teach me about "regular" exercise you do at the gym for fitness. I can't say enough positive things about James! I am so grateful for what he did to change my life! read more
