Was there earlier this week. Been there 4times so far for acupuncture. I love going there. I got in a car accident in August 2013 and been seeing a chiropractor since. I was getting fed up with the lack of results and the short duration of pain relief. So I decided to try acupuncture...and now I've finally felt some lasting results after seeing Dr Zhang. She's been working on neck, shoulder, back, and knee. She is very thorough and caring. She makes sure to ask u lots of questions just in case u forget or missed something. The pain levels have definitely gone down and I can feel that my problem areas are getting much better circulation than b4. My neck was the biggest concern and she was able to help it recover a lot. The pain isn't completely gone... Was like a 6-8 depending on the day but it was consistently painful n would cause a shooting pain to the center of my back if I moved it around in certain ways. After my first visit she's gotten the pain down to a 2-3 and the pain isn't consistent every day. I can also sleep much better too. Not having to adjust my pillow as often like I use to. So I'm feeling better with every visit n I am getting better quality sleep which I know will help with recovery. The Dr Zhang is extremely polite n friendly... And if u ever have questions or concerns she is more than happy to help. She is a very caring doctor and I'm happy to have found her. She takes insurances and worker's comp. For over 10 years, I have been dealing with a chronic and acute pain in my back neck and shoulders and suffered a significant loss of mobility in my lower back. I sprained my neck last Wednesday, and it hurt like heck to turn my head to one side. My dad, who swears by the power of Chinese medicine suggested I try acupuncture, and referred me to Dr. Zhang. So, I went on Thursday- but mostly to find out if acupuncture really works. Now, I don't know if it was psychological (I thought it may have something to do with the anticipation of being stuck with needles) or if it is really the balancing of my Chi as Dr Zhang described, but after the acupuncture treatment the pain was significantly reduced. Dr. Zhang also gave me some herbal tea to drink at night, to help relax the muscles. The next day my neck and range of motion was back to normal. I am highly recommending Dr. Zhang for two reasons, 1.) The acupuncture worked for my sprained neck, and 2.) I was extremely impressed with the degree of care- she paid attention to my body, and engaged me as a person.
