Dr. Yen and Dr. Chen are 2 of the rarest caring doctors you will ever meet. They have cured my 40-year long hip injury (which I didn't think was curable) and my sinus allergy (with one single treatment). They've also cured my sister-in-law's thyroid enlargement (without which she might have to go for surgery). Dr. Yen believes that our body can heal itself if given the proper chemical balance. Our body will be healthy as long as our "chi" flows without blockage. Like other reviews mentioned, Dr. Yen's acupressure massage and Dr. Chen's acupuncture work miracles, and their price for treatment is reasonable compared to some other clinics. Had really bad allergy couple weeks ago (reason unknown) and my face got really swollen that I had to stay home whole week :( I had history of western medicine allergy so I decided to try Chinese medication. Had a very unprofessional and frustrating experience with Dr. Heidi Chen. I Made an appointment with her, and when I arrived at the location listed on both Yelp and Maps her office was not there. I called her, she said that she knew the incorrect location was listed, and gave me her new address. When I drove there, I arrived at a Wendy's restaurant, and called her again, thinking I had made a mistake. She asked, "are you at a Wendy's?" I went to see Heidi Chen when I had a problem with my eyes that my ophthalmologist wasn't able to help me with. I literally had double vision, and the stress of thinking it wasn't fixable was overwhelming. She was immediately reassuring, and after about 2 hours of acupuncture, and some massaging of the muscles surrounding my eyes, it was 80%better, and after 5 visits, was 100% back to normal. To be honest, part of it was painful, and I had 2 black eyes after the first 2 visits. Small price to pay for getting my vision back to normal! My ophthalmologist confirmed my eyes and vision were 100%, and literally had no explanation. A couple months later When I had a problem with a ligament next to my knee, I didn't even bother going to my doctor @ Kaiser. I was there for my wife through a strong recommendation by a relative. My wife have been treated by so many different disciplines of medicine we started to give up, nothing really improve her ill condition. As a western medicine practitioner with 30 years of experience I am aware of certain common conditions that we as doctors struggle with in western medicine.
