The mailbox construction was started within a week of finalizing the insurance claim so kudos for fast response time. The owner of the company, Mr. Alex Skellon was present at the beginning of construction and was a very pleasant person to deal with. The lead mason for the job, Mr. Fred Bell and his assistant were both knowledgeable and easy to work with. Mr. Bell and his associate completed the project including cleanup of the destroyed brick mailbox in 1.5 days. Cost of construction was $2800. The photos were taken in partial shade with an old digital camera and prior to the front being cleaned, hence it may appear as there is some discoloration but in reality is a nice red tone overall. Blower Door Test results: 39-qty of the can lighting are NOT sealed (=Winter heat escapes into Attic. =Summer 180 degree heat penetrates into the house (we had -0- ridge vents) Outside Wall Sockets are also NOT sealed. Thermal Imaging results: all 3 tray ceilings JOISTS are visible from inside (= -0- to "dusting" insulation above in the attic not per code in SC R38 ~22" Blown Insulation. We will turnover the report to builder for our 1yr Warranty expecting another "denied", but if not we'll insist PE crew perform the work confident house would finally pass code.
