Once we placed the call for a quote, Owner Kyle Redding and Restoration Consultant Service Specialist Asheton Welch were immediately scheduled. At the appointment, a thorough inspection of our roof was conducted, and an explanation with photos was provided, along with many replacement options to guide us in the direction we could go. What we didn't realize was that there was damage due to a recent storm, so Kyle and Asheton took the extra time explaining how everything could go should we decide to file a claim via our homeowners insurance, as well as variations in the two roofing brands offered and the benefits of each. At the onset, we had initially wanted to get a few companies to come out to provide quotes... but our questions on cost and concerns were put to rest within the first 30 minutes of talking with Kyle and Asheton. We knew there wasn't another company that would take care of our home, better than if we did it ourselves. After the best replacement choice for our home's needs was made, their team was scheduled and the entire job (along with gutters installed) was completed within two days. Paid an exorbitant price to fix a roof leak after the last hurricane. According to the owner…read more(Jamie) their roofing company took pride in their service, response, and quality of work - my experience would challenge all three of her claims. Perhaps the most egregious problem was the replacement shingles used for the repairs (a section approx 30'x20'). Not only didn't the shingles match - they were a completely different color ( the shingles on the roof are GAF Timberline shades of black - her replacement shingles (according to her husband a co-owner) are not GAF but another brand that are bluish gray. We were never shown these replacements until the job was finished - her excuse they do not make my color of shingles. So I checked with a GAF REP who informed that yes not only fid they still make my shingles but GAF has six different shades of black in the Timberline style. I feel quite strongly that she emptied out her roofing yard on us rather than pay for the correct shingles. The final straw, she said the new shingles would fade to match - highly doubtful that black shingles will fade to blue. - that would be some miracle and to add insult to injury her husband tried two or three different excuses until he finally just said "well you will just have to live with them cause I am not tearing them off". Gee another satisfied customer!! Word to the wise, I would avoid this roofing contractor at all costs. Don Josi
