She truly cares about your pets and she's affordable. I had an elderly lab named Shadow who passed away from cancer at 13, and Dr. Foley and her team were all crying with my boyfriend and I because they truly cared about him. They helped us get him cremated, they took care of the entire process. I just love them. And when I had a feral mama cat and her babies show up at my house, I trapped them all and she spayed, neutered and vaccinated them all for a reasonable price. We rescued another lab mix named Luke who had been through a lot of trauma and has PTSD. Dr. Foley helped us treat him with calming treats and she gave us advice on how to help him acclimate to his new life. He's now one of the best dogs ever! We will always take our pets to Dr. Foley and her team for any of their needs.

I was very obviously not wanting that, but I had to ask her multiple times and she never even apologized. Recording people like she did and not stopping the 1st time is definitely crossing the line. Says everything about how much she cares about your needs, which reflects on how she'll care for pets. They did not ask my permission to pin my dog down on the table. He's very gentle and I didn't want him down there longer than he needed to be. They didn't listen to me beforehand when I told them that he doesn't like it. Instead of being Sorry they got angry at me and Dr. Bauer seemed to do a tit for tat thing in her head where she started complaining about the fact that my dog was on the examination table at all. She literally got angry at me because he was on the examination table. I have never in my entire life had a veterinarian behave this way. I even tried to smooth things over by apologizing and they still continued to be extremely rude. It wasn't a sincere apology, but I still said it kindly I just wanted them to be nice to my dog. What a nightmare. Furthermore, every single opinion I stated or response to any of their suggestions that indicated I was thinking for myself was met with criticism and disapproval, if not outright shaming and complaining. There was one time that her assistant was in the room alone with me and she got into this really Petty power struggle with me, because I said I can't control my pet 100% of the time which is just a fact. She then snitched on me to Dr. Bauer who proceeded to try and micromanage me in a different way. These people are just about control and ego imo. At the end, as we were wrapping up I was trying to explain something and she yelled at me, STOP!! Like a nazi. She rudely interrupted me and then had the nerve to say she wanted to talk. So she wants to talk but not listen? Even more shockingly, on the way out I said listen just don't hate me. Okay, please? Think anyone who is kind would have said something like of course not. I was truly amazed when all she said was "kay" as she walked out the door without a handshake or even a smile. Wow If you want to place that respects your opinion and values and active participant in caring about their dog, this is not the place. She is one of the worst and meanest vets I have ever encountered and she has absolutely no response for anyone but herself in my opinion. They also emailed me to tell me that they didn't want me as a patient anymore. Frankly, I was never planning to come back so I was relieved and of course not surprised by their ongoing rudeness and lack of respect.

When I called Swift Creek the person I spoke with said they were pretty booked but that she would see what they could do for me and my dog. She came back in a couple of minutes and said they could get me if I could come in soon. I drove Buu straight there and they got us in. There was nothing serious but they gave him an injection that really helped him. He slept through the night and the next day no more vomiting. The price was a lot less than an ER vet. These people really care and they understood how important my Buu is to me! You deserve that kind of care and so does your pet! If I am ever back in Raleigh, I will find a reason to drop in!

Took my dog up there on 27th of August for cherry eye surgery and to get spayed. $1000s of dollars later and multiple vet bills bc my dog got really sick from meds and had to be hooked to IV's. 2 weeks after final eye check up cherry eye is back out. They tell us that they could do surgery again for discounted rate. Something wasn't done right bc no way if it was stitched properly it would last less than a month. They did say it probably will never come back out but could when she gets older and here i am $1000s of dollar spent and have the same looking dog with huge cherry eye after spending money on surgery, diarrhea meds, probiotics, eye creams, cones, changing her foods bc her stomach was so sensitive afterwards... I'm beyond frustrated and the lack of accountability from Clayton Animal Hospital is just astounding. Fix what you didn't do right is all I'm asking... Side note: 2 weeks after surgery we started seeing the white stitching string. The vet said this is normal. Now I don't think it is bc I think the stitching was coming out. Side note: their staff is great and pleasant to deal with and I love all of them and I hope we can come to resolution and I can update later that they did the right thing

Banfield seems to be having issues with their computer system and there is always a long wait. I took a fecal sample in yesterday which one would expect could be analyzed in-house and for some reason they sent it out to a lab and told me it could take days for the results. I do not understand this as previously they had done the analysis at Banfield. As for the care plan, it covers the bare minimum and they will nickel and dime you for everything else. I do NOT recommend it.

Also, if the vets try to talk you into getting medication for your dog, look into Chewy pharmacy, they will have the same medicine for wayyyy cheaper than what they tell you at the store.

The kitten was scared and not yet fully weaned from her mom which was not with the kitten. The veterinarian discussed our intentions for the kitten and then helped us decide what was important to have done without spending too much money since we were not planning on keeping the kitten and instead finding a good home for it. The staff also provided us with a small box of cat litter and can of kitten food and help us get the kitten to start feeding on her own.
