    Been waiting over an hour now to see the doctor. It seems a bit excessive since there was an appt. made. Why make the appointment.

    I was admitted to Glendale Memorial Hospital on May 30, 2026 for heavy shortness of breath,…read moreirregular heart beats, chest squeezing, bleeding esophagus, severe pain, bloody urine, bleeding stomach ulcers, severe swelling, hives and pain in my legs from another hospital doctor trying to substitute real IV Morphine with a green oral liquid and not real Morphine. I have high allergies and I can't have any other pain pills nor oral liquids because they cause me severe allergic reactions. I was born with this problem and I have pictures and proof. All hospitals that have treated me for myocardia infraction (5 heart attacks), CHF, 8 blood transfusions, AFB and GI Bleed for 7 years, have compiled a list in my medical records of all medications that I cannot have and all that I can have which is Morphine and Dilaudid by IV only. About 99% of the doctors who read my medical records immediately prescribe 3 to 4 mgs of IV Morphine every 3 to 4 hours, or IV Dilaudid 2 mg every 6 hours as safe and allergy free for me. Dr. Rostamloo prescribed 1mg of IV Morphine every 6 hours and my pain level is above 10 on the pain scale and is progressively getting worse. 1 mg of Morphine is not enough for a baby, and I have been lying here in pain for 2 days. Every pro staff who does this I find is stealing Morphine. They are babysitting the morphine instead of caring for their patients. The nurses and staff have pleaded with Dr. Rostamloo to increase the milligrams because it wasn't human nor normal for a professional doctor to prescribe when a patient is in excruciating pain. Dr. Rostamloo came to my room one time. In spite of her seeing me in pain, she said, "I'm not changing the 1mg." Then she giggled and galloped out of my room and said she will be right back, and she never came back. She couldn't look directly at me, and she sounded high and drunk off of some type of substance. It was as if she got off on abusing a patient, or that it was some type of game, and thought it was funny. I am finding this hoax game to be a big problem among hospital staff here in Los Angeles hospitals and it's increasing. It is not funny. I do not think that Dr. Rostamloo is mature enough to medically treat patients who have complex medical problems. She needs to be tested for drugs and alcohol abuse. She has deliberately caused me intentional infliction of emotional distress and I am still crying.

Additionally, although Dr. Beeve seems nice, in the 4-5 years our elderly family member has been his patient, he never ordered a blood panel for her yearly or semi-annual Physical. We just realized this, and had to ASK for the blood panel. Poor communication with the woman at the front desk in relation to where the Lab was located, how the order for the blood panel would be obtained, etc. and she had an "attitude" over the phone. We received the results of the blood panel and many things are out of range! I am sure some of these issues could have been addressed several years ago if a blood panel had been ordered by the doctor back then! As a relative of the patient, I was told I would not be able to communicate with their office on behalf of the patient without filling a form out. With my elderly relative in the car, I walked up to the office, filled the form out and left to have her/him sign it and immediately went back into the office and handed the form to the unfriendly person at the desk. I went back to the car and within minutes received a nasty phone call from that person at the desk, accusing me of signing for my relative who was in the front seat of the car. My relative was angry and told that woman that it was fine that that was signed. I'm disgusted with the doctor and the staff at this office. We have also had issues with getting prescriptions filled and me running back-and-forth to CVS because we were told they were filled when they were not. This happened several times in one day.

As mentioned in other reviews, she is routinely booked out months in advance. Whenever I'm experiencing illness or injury, I have to see someone else at the practice, and the continuity -- and quality -- of care vastly suffers. For example, I hurt my back at the end of January. I took an appointment with a nurse practitioner because Dr. Mitropoulos had no available appointments. I've been doing physical therapy for the last 3 months (when the prognosis was 6-8 weeks of PT), and my back and pelvis still chronically hurt. I asked to see Dr. Mitropoulos so that we could figure out what was really going on in my body. Her next opening was in August (it's currently the beginning of May). Instead, I saw a male doctor who didn't let me finish a sentence. I mentioned that I was told by the nurse practitioner that my most recent x-ray was "normal." He informed me that it wasn't normal -- that I have mild scoliosis, so that's my issue. He then said, "Lots of people live with back pain. Use a heat pad." He also advised that I don't pick up my kid (My son is 2, so that's nearly impossible.) He then gave me a referral for a pain management doctor. When I handed the referral to the receptionist to schedule the appointment, the pain management doctor didn't have an opening for TWO months. This practice has lost its mind and sense of compassion. How would any one of its employees like to be told that they can't be seen for MONTHS when they're in chronic pain? I left in tears. I felt completely discouraged and dismissed. I don't understand why they continue to accept new patients if they aren't able to accommodate the ones they already have. Between rarely getting to see my actual doctor, and being dismissed by another who I had to see in her place, I'm on the hunt for a new doctor.
